Absolutely
awful.
Wish
I'd
read
the
other
reviews
before
planning
a
special
lunch
here.
We
went
for
an
afternoon
tea
for
6
of
us.
We've
had
a
few
afternoon
teas
here,
and
all
were
fabulous,
until
now.
We
had
decided
to
take
both
sets
of
parents
as
a
treat.
We
were
told
that
the
menu
had
been
"updated,"
when
what's
really
happened
is
there
has
been
a
huge
change
of
management
style.
We
previously
liked
it
so
much
that
we
bought
gift
cards
for
presents
for
family.
There
were
3
little
fingers
of
sandwich
each
which
looked
like
a
5
year
old
had
made
them.
We
had
asked
for
some
simple
sandwiches
for
children,
but
we
got
ham
and
a
hot
mustard,
beef
on
dry
bread
and
egg
and
cress.
The
crusts
were
all
left
on
the
bloomer
bread
and
they
tasted
cheap
and
dry.
The
scones
served
used
to
be
lovely,
with
a
vanilla
whipped
cream
and
raspberry
coulis.
Now,
you
just
get
whipped
cream
slapped
into
a
bowl
with
no
thought
for
presentation,
or
taste;
it
was
sweetened
previously
and
contained
vanilla
seeds
too.
They
also
used
to
serve
warm
pork
pies
and
quiches,
both
of
which
were
amazing.
There
were
two
more
levels
of
cake;
a
slice
of
loaf
cake
and
another
muffin,
plus
a
macaroon
each.
No
other
savoury
like
there
used
to
be,
just
a
slab
of
bought
in
cake
(they
sell
them
in
tesco).
How
anyone
could
be
expected
to
manage
that
quantity
of
cake
is
beyond
me.
Appaling.
Through
and
through.
We
did
pay
for
our
raspberry
lemonade
which
really
should
have
been
complimentary
as
it
ruined
what
should
have
been
a
lovely
meal
out
with
our
in-laws.
It
is
so
sad
how
somewhere
that
used
to
provide
such
lovely
food
can
go
so
far
downhill.
Don't
waste
your
money.
Was
told
the
owners
would
be
in
touch.
Have
I
heard
anything?
Of
course
not!
