Great art work, There are 100 bollards on 2 hour one way track, I could only count 26 in my half way through. Great lively environment.

It is so nice to walk along the trail and see the fancy scenic area. There are people fishing and running along the pier. There many people dancing and having fun in bars around this pier.

The trail walk sitting along the eastern beach lively lifts up mood abd sense staying there. Family gathering under sunbath with snacks and eats, fantastic outlay with crescent shaped swimming area

Really funny but it used to be a bollard One of the top things to do when you arrive in Geelong is take a relaxing stroll through Eastern Beach Reserve on the waterfront. You'll find plenty of activities for the whole family here. A flat, smooth promenade runs along the edge of Corio Bay, and picturesque picnic spots beckon beneath along the way, with beautiful bay views. On hot days, you can bask on the white-sand beach or take a dip in the shark-proof Art Deco swimming pool. Kids can paddle in the children's pool or climb until their heart's content at the nearby playground. A short stroll up the beach, the historic carousel and a Ferris wheel await for more family fun. Other fun things to do include casting a fishing line from Cunningham Pier or sipping a coffee while you soak up the bay views. Punctuating the promenade are one of Geelong's top sights: the colorful and whimsical Baywalk Bollards. Carved out of wood from the pylons of one of Geelong's piers, these colorful local characters depict local history, from a group of lifesavers reeling in a buoy to a military brass band pumping out a tune. Local artist Jan Mitchell painstakingly created an entire exhibition that spans the length of the Promenade, bringing smiles to tourist of all ages. If you're looking for fun things to do in Geelong for couples, take a romantic stroll along the beautiful promenade at sunset, one of the best free things to do in the Bellarine Peninsula.

The starting point of the great ocean road, with its characteristic puppets, is suitable for walking.

This is the rare gem of Geelong! Hidden away from the main Street and crowd yet just round the corner of the Eastern beach public pool is the one and only Mineral water pump! Many people visit Geelong and yet miss this wonderful treasure. The only other place to find such pump is in Daylesford. The mineral content here is so different from others as it is located just next to the beach. Thus, it tastes more salty but the mineral content is just as high. Highly recommended. Just 5 mins walk from the Eastern beach pool or playground
