Food fresh and delicious. Staff are friendly and look after you. The place is very clean and welcoming. Cash only. Would recommend.

Probably the best cafe in St. Helens. You always get a warm and friendly greetings apon arrival. The food is prepared and cooked fresh. Great potion sizes on the deals. If you require anything don't hesitate to ask.

Called in today to collect fish chips and mushy peas they were really tasty. The shop is very very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. It's my first time here but it certainly won't be my last xx

Really really good chips but the best bit is how lovely the staff were, really attentive and helpful and it seemed they knew all their regulars by name. One of the very few places were the food and service are both amazing. Will be going back

First time here, and I have to say, it was the best Chippy I've been to, possibly ever. Food was hot and delicious, the fish was to die for. The staff were lovely and friendly. Everything was clean. Do yourselves a favour and go here people

Hadn't been in for years. It's always been a nice chippy but I have to say the fish,chips and peas were exceptional. Nice mug of tea also. Great service too,really friendly lady who served us.

I used to love this chippy when it was Huxley's, then George's Plaice. I'm a fussy eater and everything was just right for me back then. The staff are always lovely and the service is good. I went back last year for the first time in a while and unfortunately the mushy peas aren't as good as they used to be (they're bright green now), so I probably won't go again. :(

These lovely ladies do the best fish n chips in town. The staff are always cheerful and ready for a chat, followed by a huge plate of traditional grub with a good strong mug of tea. Couldn't be better !

I always come here for my dinner the staff always friendly and helpful they get the time to listen to you I don't go no where else only here 🤣

I've struggled to find a good fish and chip shop in England since I moved here 8years ago and today I found this little gem
