great atmosphere, fab service and delicious food.

1st time back in a while! Loved the new outside space. We were a group of 4 who managed to get a table outside and grab something to eat on sat 16/07/22. Loved the menu (I had not seen before, with the calorie counting menu) All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and my steak was cooked perfectly. 10 out of 10.

Went for a family Xmas meal, food was absolutely terrible and very slow! Whole place was totally rammed with drunk lads and girls, only 4 tables of people eating surrounded by this, definately not a family meal kind of place, toilets had all been blocked with toilet roll and flooded with faces on the floor. An all round bad experience 👎

Food was tasty and hot, the staff and service was swift and friendly unfortunately we were there for a birthday party but ended up joining their quiz night as we couldn't really converse under the speakers where our reserved table was sited

Only went for a few pints for the first time, really busy, big pub and bar. Great and friendly service. Will definitely go again. Family friendly.

Thought Alison and Cassie are two of the best bar tenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. There customer service skills are second to none, treated us like absolute royalty. Serving some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. 10/10. Would come again.

Went with my daughters family which included 2 small children, age 2 & 4. We all agreed the food was lovely each having something different. There was 7 cleared plates at the table. Including the children's! My 1 and only fault was the waiting. Not enough staff in any area. Drinks took ages as a long queue at the bar. Food took a very long time also. The few staff looked stressed and rushed off their feet. But overall it was delicious.

Great place.. It was quiz night and we hadn't booked a table, still managed to fit us in.. Quiz was interactive through your phone. I was very impressed with it. Living in Somerset, it was something I'd never seen before. Bit slow down here lol. We will be back and join in next time.

Ordered for Christmas started Camembert cheese and they gave me yogurt. Chef needs to be sacked . Shocking Food constantly

Had a nice bite to eat. Food was well presented and tasty. Beer was cold and very nice and the welcomes from the staff were warm. A nice place to meet friends and unwind.

We nipped into the lodge today to get our children something for lunch. The staff were so friendly and showed us the children area that has been done for children to watch a film and play board games. This made the overall experience of eating out so easy, even better with juice for the children. We will definitely be back and thanks so much for making a lunch a little easier.

Booked a table here and requested a quiet table due to being hard of hearing. Was ignored at the bar for about 5 mins even with staff right in front of us, then when acknowledged we explained we had booked and had a table right next to the bar pointed out and told "there" !! Table was very sticky, very noisy location, menus were very badly laid out and also sticky. We chose not to eat based on what we saw and left. Certainly won't be returning.

Regular attendance from my family and I to this establishment. Can always count on affordable food and drink with a quick order to service time. Ordering via the app makes things easier when it's busy but it's always just as easy to go to the bar when it's not. Menu changes regularly with new items and the large sharing meals are great value for money.

We came here for Father's Day meal our first one without my Mum, food was delicious as usual, staff friendly, only marked a star down for staff due to all our meals coming out but my husband had to wait for his a bit longer, that was only a minor point though as food was good and staff were apologetic, thank you for making this hard Father's Day a good day x

Staff very friendly had run out of a few bits. Food was tasty. It was quite busy but didn't have to wait too long. Nice lunch

Nice place and staff bit went for Xmas Dinner and after waiting an hour between starter and main the main was not great. Veggies were rock hard, the stuffing was burnt and looked like a lump of coal

Do like this place it's got a community of people. Always has good events .outside is great now all the alterations have been done . However the food is not good .

Had a great meal for my dads birthday today. Food came out piping hot, and was lovely. There was a little wait for the food, but not an issue when comes out like it did. The gent behind the bar (tall, black shirt) was lovely, polite and very accommodating. Also seemed to be on his own behind there for the majority of the time we were there, and managed very well while it was quite busy.

We came here after a long drive. We always look out for a greene king pub because the service is always spot on. Unfortunately this time it wasn't. The decor of the place was a mixture of new and worn out. We waited 45mins for our food with no warning before ordering that there was a delay. We did get a warning around 30mins into our wait that the food was on its way. I have a chicken less fillet burger which I'd describe as goujons, they were quite over cooked. Tasted like burnt cardboard. Only 2 onion rings when the menu said 3. The worst was my daughters fish which was covered in pepper. We were so tired and hungry we ate most if it and left with out complaining because it was getting late and we wanted to get to the hotel.

Went for a work do with a couple of the ladies from work , some of us ordered on the app and some ordered at the table and it worked well most of the time all the food came together :) will definitely return so tasty and everyone enjoyed themselves

This would be an amazing place if the didn't microwave things was here with my sister and her partner my sister ordered lasagna and what came out looked nothing like a lasagna it was burnt and horrible had to send it back me giving 3 stars is being generous everything else was good

Deals within the week... no deals on weekend... wierd try not to go here on the weekends? Other than that pretty good food, not overcooked or under, had chicken pick n mix before and today had american chk burger, nice location ez to find parking, lots ppl not too many, not too long on the wait time

Very nice meal myself and my partner treated me to mixed grill for my birthday it was lovely and both meals was piping hot it was sizzling very nice atmosphere and pleasant and helpful staff

Even though we are local never been here before. The atmosphere was great food was great lovely nice staff and prices were good. Really impressed. We will be back. 5* pub

I have know this pub all my life and has always been good my sister who is quite vulnerable and the lodge has been a lifeline to her during covidshe has to sit outside and all the staff have been extremely accomadating well done to the refurbishment

Popped in for a drink today with the wife, stood at the bar for 10mins and wasnt even acknowledged by the 2 staff behind the bar. They were serving other people but a polite i willl be with you when i'm finished serving would have surficed. Eventually when both had finished serving they just served the next person in front of the till!! Support your local........with service like that why?

Food is great and staff are nice but it can get overly busy (especially if live sport is on) so not the best if you want a quite family meal. But would definitely recommend! Update went in today with a newborn and the staff were amazing and very helpful. Food was still great
