Unfortunately no option to give a ZERO. Had a terrible in-store experience. Super rude at the till. Immature retail assistant and manager. This wouldn't have happened in London where staff are far more exposed, savvy and trained.

Walked into the shop and asked a member staff at the front door for a basket. Got told there aren't any, all being used up. What a great first impression when you walk into a shop! Then, I discovered the majority of baskets were being used by staff to throw away sticker labels and plastic bags. Also asked a lady for help in the light department, she didn't even talk to me just spoke through a headset and said someone will be with me. The person who arrived was so rude they abandoned me and never came back! Such a shame that the staff let this shop down.

Large branch of the home furnishings chain. Good selection of soft furnishings to personalise your home. Good prices, not the very cheapest but a lot better than what you will find in high-end stores. Ample parking available.

Staff friendly and helpful especially getting nets cut to size and making sure what I was asking for was correct as I had an idea already as usually they might know how much overhand to have if needed to know some one would know

Good choice of various items and one of the few department type shops still out there. My criticism is that some of the staff have unfriendly and unhelpful attitudes. Never received pleasantry at the till's = Always feel they can't be bothered with you and if you have a question they don't like it.

I visited Dunelm to buy a mattress protector. I asked an assistant where they were and she actually walked me to them (refreshing and helpful! No general wave in that direction which I've experienced in other shops). There were a few brands so I settled for Dunelm's own brand - Kingsize at £9. At such a great price I wanted to check the quality because you never know right? I spoke with an assistant named Geoff who accessed Dunelm's online website to look at the reviews for the item, which was also very helpful particularly as the reviews were very good! Excellent customer service from him and from his other colleagues, i.e. the lady as mentioned above and the young man in the curtains dept who was thorough when checking their stock for more curtain rings as I had bought the last two on the shelf. All done with a smile. Altogether, a delightful shopping experience! Thank you. PS When I opened the protector later, I was not disappointed! The quality is very good!

Great variety. Some prices a bit high £85 for a quilt cover set!! We still bought a few things.

Reasonably well stocked, felt a bit chaotic, lots of stock all over the place and staff unloading and moving pallets around the store. Till staff friendly. Long queue to get out the car park!

Went to get wool and buttons, not a great deal of choice some of the shelves were empty. Had lunch in the cafe, I had a toasted sandwich husband had a tuna melt both were very nice, only 1 girl behind the counter and it was a very long wait to get served, it took her a long time to do everyone's coffee's. I would go back but make sure there was no queues. They need more staff.

Here to help colleague good to start knowledge of store layout, second part not so good item I was looking for not on shelf so went back I showed online that says they where in stock and she replied that the website is usually wrong and they get deliveries everyday you'll have to pre order them - went to the till with one item out of the two I managed to get I asked again to a different young lady in green she went to check the shelves to confirm then checked the storeroom to then find the product was actually in stock 06/03/2023

Absolutely taking on anyone at the minute walked in to see that horrendous individual racheal porter they obviously don’t do background checks. Not nice to see your attacker in one of your fav shops well was fav shop dunelm should be more vigilante of who they employ as you don’t know what they have done.

Staff are generally very helpful and it spacious. Pleasant to look round. Ladies toilets unfortunately always smell and seats do not fit.

Great selection of goods, a little pricey but bargains are there to be had if you search for them. Has a nice cafe there too. Minor issue is the car park exit can get snarled up as the main road is busy and the estate (especially the mcdonalds) can get busy too.

I like the atmosphere there, not quite busy, and got cheap items at sale prices. They should introduce delivery for larger items in store too as on website, sad we had to carry all by ourselves.

Some items seem like overpriced junk, while other items are reasonable. I went in just after Xmas and needed a new carving fork and there wasn't even a single one to be seen. Having said that, finding anything in this shambles of a shop is difficult, a teenagers bedroom is spick and span tidy compared to this place. I worked for 20 years in major retail, and a manager would be on report for a shop in this state.

I've just purchased the vertical blinds daylight non corded for my living room and they are excellent. They are fiddly to make up and definitely needs two people. They are very light in weight and easy to cut to size once you've measured them. The video for the blinds is not the best as has a small error in it, which was very confusing; but we got there in the end though. Remember to cut off the little piece you pull out as this is not needed as per my photo, which the video doesn't show. These blinds have a nice plastic winder to open and close. They are not able to be pulled across the window with this to clean the window, but the blinds are easily moved to one side by pulling them at the top of the rail like my photo shows. The last photo is the piece the video doesn't explain well to cut this off completely as the next part of the video still has this attached even though the previous part showed it being cut off. This piece is not needed as the end cap as per my photo pushes back on. Its very fiddly to make up the blinds and takes a round 2.5-3 hrs to make up, but so worth taking your time to assemble them as they look really good when up. They are not the best if you've got a cat that is in and out of the window like mine is, as they shift easily out of place, but moving them closer to the inside window edge not flush with the window does help that's if you've got them in the living room. The weights at the bottom are lightweight and could be heavier in my opinion, but I'm sure if needed you could purchase heaver ones. If want to replace the blinds themselves then so easy just unhook them off the top and put different ones on. The opening and closing pull at the side of the blind could do with being smaller, but works well. They are worth the money and they'd be perfect for a bedroom or hallway window. They look great on my landing window. The bottoms where they were pre made at production aren't really even, but you don't really notice that much. These cost a mear £30 to cover this window and so worth the money as a cheaper option for now.

Amazing customer service from the staff today. Wish I had taken the ladies name who initially helped me with a query about wallpaper, but I didn't. To her Manager, Tamara... thank you very much 😊

Customer service absolutely dreadful. I was ready to buy over £100s worth of their products but one of the girls was so rude in front of my daughter and gave me a load of mouth while walking away, that when I asked for a manager to another member of staff, I was told they were too busy, so I popped the bits back and walked out. It's was quite frankly, a very upsetting experience.

Very helpful staff, what I wanted wasn't on the shelf so a very polite lady checked and found some out in the warehouse. Clean and tidy store with a good selection.

I went shopping to dunelm in Kettering today, 5th June 2022. I bought products totalling up to £143. I was served by a young lady and I had asked her to add bags to the cost of the items. When she had finished charging the items, she placed a bag on top of the stuff I had paid for. I then asked if she would please assist me in packing and she said no, not when the shop is busy. I was confused because if the shop is busy I thought she would assist me to pack so I could move away to create room for the next customer. She literally stood there watching me pack my own stuff and of course, there was a number of people queuing behind me and so no one was able to come forth until I had moved away. I didn’t argue I just packed my stuff and requested to speak with the manager who was absolutely pleasant, my apologies I can’t remember her name but she doesn’t deserve to work with such unfriendly and horrible staff because she appears extremely lovely and pleasant. I am going to give this store 1 star because of 1 staff who appears to have no idea why she is there in the first place. Extremely disappointing service for the Kettering store. Please employ mature staff who know why they are there in the first place.

Lazy, unhelpful staff - the upper floor was busy this afternoon just before 18:00 - I counted at least 6 customers, plus me, looking in the curtain department. No staff for over 20 minutes so one of the female customers shouted over the balcony to the (empty-of-customers!) ground floor and asked for some help. Lazy female staff member by front door disinfectant bay just ignored her and slovenly looking male staff member said he'd come up but never did. I ended up buying from Amazon and won't use this place again.

Popped into Dunelm while in the area for a quick coffee in their Pausa cafe and a mooch around for a few items, while our car was in for an MOT at Richard Sanders up the round. Managed to find a couple of things we were looking for, without too much difficulty. Coffee OK....Cafe quite busy, actually. For me nearer 3 stars than 4 but we did find what we wanted, so 4 it is! My wife quite likes Dunelm and they must be doing better now that so many department stores have gone.

Staff are very polite and helpful. The products are very reasonable priced. The lift we used behaved as though we were stuck in it, but it was the mechanism that was slow. This gave us a fright for a few seconds. Nothing like living on the edge! Ps. Used the stairs on the way down.

I love this shop, they usually have all I am going in for at a low price. On this occasion the item I wanted was only available online but the staff were very helpful and assisted me in a friendly manner. They were very busy but still took time to try to help. I left with a few other items that I had forgotten I needed and the checkout staff were equally friendly
