Relatively basic in setup, but excellent value for money and well executed. Kids really enjoyed the activities on offer and we would certainly recommend. Instructor (Mark) was really good with keeping the kids entertained. We drove 2 hours to get there, but was worth it. Covid safety procedures in place.

My daughter spent a few days here the site is beautifully maintained. She had a great time with lots of activities. The staff were world class and made my daughter's experience one she will remember for ever.

The activities were amazing - even for staying only for 2 and a half days! Way more activities and time to do them are fun when you go for a week. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are all ready to be served warm. The only thing I want to complain about is the mattress and bedding; me and a few of my friends have found the beds and sheets to have stains and bits of food found in there. Otherwise, I would recommend this place to schools and clubs across Birmingham.

while on this trip i experienced water which was colder than the water we were given at lunch. unable to make it hotter i ended up with red marks of coldness on my skin. meal times could have been better though that was under control of my school staff not the whitmore lakes staff, the curry was absolutely un acceptable and i do not recomemd having more than on spoon full. after that i was put of the rest of the food on my plate. in my opinion, the only food i will tolerate are the apples, i survived on apples for the weekend. i was provided with lots of butter salt and sugar which was pleasing. high ropes was cool i am glad for taking part in that. amazing. night line was a joke though, it was wet and muddy but i was pressured by my instructor to go down a tunnel and crawl on the ground. did not enjoy this. overall the experience could have been improved but the campfire can be improved the most. i do not feel comfortable pointing out my bum sticking my tongue out and elbows together than spinning around. unacceptable!!!!!!!! hate to be a karen but the colleague ‘Adam’ was not respecting anybody. my respect goes to Thomas and gus. never coming back.

To be honest I can't really comment on this place as my daughter was due to go on a school trip but unfortunately due to health problems she couldn't go after us taking advice from the doctor, we had paid £110 for a 3 day and 2 night stay but even though I explained this and they said that there policy was no refunds under any circumstances 🙄 to which I personally feel this is unacceptable even if it was only a percentage of the money back. In hindsight I should have checked out there policy should something arise but as they say you live and learn. After reading other reviews I'm glad she didn't go in the end.

Stayed for a family retreat after Christmas. Great venue with very helpful staff lead by Eve.

Pee stained pillows, the sweetcorn almost made me throw up, bradley chugging and vomiting not your thing but eh and the breakfast was amazing so +2 but the instructors almost FORCING me to do stuff -1

I'll make it 5 star next, I wish you have pool because you can't swim in the lake.

Escorted a school trip all staff and facilities were very well maintained

Took a group of 20 here, a two hour journey, and well worth the travel for the weekend. Teenagers came back full of positivity, faced fears and built on relationships. All enjoyed the surroundings, activities and food (catered well for gluten free diet)

Attended a two day Powerboat Level 2 course run by Alex. Would highly recommend the course, Alex and the facility, very professional and an excellent venue.

This is a great place for a conference with spacious meeting rooms, friendly & helpful staff, great accessibility just off the major road network and plenty of parking. With everything at ground level I can see it being helpful as a place that all can meet.

Great food, great spaces. 2 stars docked for bright green security lights in each dorm room that keep you up until the early hours, rock hard beds and tatty pillows. Next time I'll bring my own pillow and an eye mask.

Went here for both my Covid vaccines, and it was all very well organised. The people there are friendly and informative. Excellent service.

OK I was here for my second covid vaccination but this is (will be in normal times) such a great place. But.. Pressure jet those spider nests off. Those wrigglers are caked on! 😁

Walk in COVID vaccination centre. Staff are all friendly, approachable and answer all questions that you ask of them. The setting is kept clean and tidy.

Did sailing with our Scouts. Fantastic instructors, great facilities, the kids had an amazing time. We'll be back soon!

Really good day out as part of a Rugby Club team building day. Well managed from a COVID protection perspective and really great staff. They were enthusiastic and handled a bunch of 10 year olds excellently.

Amazing experience for my little boy who is 8 years old he hasn't stopped talking about it since he returned, especially handling and stroking a giant tarantula. He went for a 3-day 2 night school trip and did everything from zip wires. Raft building, board paddling and wake boarding and canoeing. He has visibly benefitted by team building and working together with others. The food was excellent (he said) he slept in a three man room and really enjoyed himself.
