The only good thing about this practice is the free fruit and flapjacks. They have a swanky exterior but my experience was anything but professional. When I had my filling done (recommended to me by this dentist but not by a previous private practice dentist), my dentist smelled of sweat (at 10 o'clock in the morning!) and didn't manage to inject the correct amount of local anaesthetic, which meant the first drilling was painful. He then 'topped it up' which meant my mouth was numb for 10 hours (as opposed to the 2 hours he had predicted). Then, for 3 weeks after the appointment, I experienced severe pain in the tooth in question (it didn't hurt before). Having raised these points in a feedback form, I was offered a complimentary follow-up visit with a different dentist. When I accepted this offer, the new dentist had no idea why I was there, and looked at me blank, but eventually worked it out. Now, three months on, the pain caused by that filling has finally subsided.

I recently had an appointment booked at Bupa West End and unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of deeply disappointing. Despite my best efforts to communicate my delay, the center's response was both unprofessional and unsympathetic. I had booked an appointment for 9am and encountered an unexpected traffic jam, which caused a delay of just 5 minutes. Aware of the situation, I made a proactive phone call to inform Bupa West End that I would be running slightly late, giving them a generous 40-minute notice before my appointment. I still had 10 minutes remaining within my scheduled 15-minute appointment when I arrived, well within a reasonable timeframe. Shockingly, despite my efforts to keep them informed and the ample time left for my appointment, the doctor flatly refused to see me. It was disheartening to witness such inflexibility and lack of understanding from a healthcare provider, especially considering the circumstances. To make matters worse, I was later presented with a bill of £70 for a cancellation that never occurred. It is distressing to see a practice prioritize monetary gain over patient care and well-being. This incident has left me deeply dissatisfied with Bupa West End's practices and their seemingly callous approach to their patients. I strongly caution others considering Bupa West End as their healthcare provider. Based on my experience, their lack of empathy, communication, and understanding is simply unacceptable. It is disheartening to encounter a medical center that appears to prioritize profit over patient care.

Just had an ear micro-suction session with two experts, Lara and David. Wonderful experience - they were experienced, professional and patient. Told me I had wax in each ear but not an abnormal amount, so I could either live with it without any problems (and they would not charge me) or I could have it removed. I decided on the latter, and the operation was quick and entirely painless. I would definitely recommend this clinic (£50 is a reasonable price) and, if you can book them, these two excellent specialists.

I had micro suction on my ears today at Mortimer Street and the consultation was excellent and welcoming. However, the receptionists downstairs were anything but welcoming. The receptionist I spoke to was surly, did not even say 'good morning' and didn't even look at me and say 'can I help you'. I had to ask her if she was listening and she answered in a most rude and unpleasant manner and continued to talk to two other people behind the reception. Eileen Burgess

I attend for physio appointments - the site is easily accessible from Oxford Circus tube station and the staff are generally friendly at reception and my physios have always been supportive and encouraging to enable a speedy recovery. I've given it 4 stars because the facility is good and I am impressed with how they are managing the social distancing etc. in the current environment. But, the facility doesn't stand out as such. It's quite a big facility to manage, and while the dental clinic has it's own reception, the physio clinic doesn't so your physio might be running a bit late and you have to go back up 2 flights of stairs to find out what is happening - so it's just shy of the fifth star. Since I have not used any other services at facility, my review is solely for the physiotherapy clinic.

They cancelled 17 min before my appointment. I was literally around the corner. Pretty dissapointing and upsetting as I would have been charged lots of £££ if I cancel less than 24 hours before...

Physiotherapy with William has been amazing: very professional, motivational and inspirational attitude - successful treatment and overall brilliant experience.

I’ve been coming here for a long time, for both dental checks with Andrew and dental hygienist visits. Today I brought my 9 year-old for her first hygiene session as well. Jwan made her feel calm and reassured and was very gentle, not to mention remove the staining from her front teeth that - despite brushing twice a day since she was a toddler - had got to the point where it was making her self conscious. We left with a bright smile and a very positive experience, as well as great and easy to understand advice for her to improve her brushing technique. Thank you! The centre isn’t cheap but it’s always worth it.

While the actual practitioners are fantastic . Communication from admin front of house is dire . You cannot get through on the phone, when you leave a voicemail they do not call you back . If you email they do not answer the email . My practitioner has asked me twice to make an appointment within a specific time frame . The reception team then say the practitioner is not available at that time even though the practitioner has said they will make time . Word to the wise ladies listen to the customer and then check with the practitioner before saying no .. that is professional customer service !!

I showed up 35’ late to the appointment due to a confusion on the place. Totally my fault. The staff told me the doctor could not see me and the full cost of appointment cancellation (75£ for 15’) would be charged EVEN IF ANOTHER DOCTOR COULD SEE ME THE SAME MORNING at the practice. Well, if you want to be the “world's most customer-centric healthcare company” as your website says, show a bit more empathy. You lost me there as a client.

During my initial consult, the MSK consultant saw me for 15 min in a 45 min appointment, Ilit felt a bit rushed but I went along with it. He suggested I get an MRI for my wrist pain and sent me off joking that it will take him longer to write the referral for the MRI than the duration of our meeting. The reception then told me that the consultant or the centre will email me with next steps. I never got the email. Had to call multiple Bupa customer care numbers to finally understand he never even sent out the said referral letter that he presumably was typing out in the duration of my appointment! Seeking simple medical services should not be like pulling teeth honestly!

Came here for an annual health assessment. Rosie, Health Advisor was very professional and did every tests efficiently. She also explained everything in a concise way. Finally she is very friendly and made you relax during the session. Dr Lafina Diamandis was also really helpful and conducted her examination gently throughout. She is also very knowledgeable. The receptionists were also very nice, offering me water as soon as I was there. The surgery is nice and clean with free wi-fi.

I can't speak for the other dentists here but I have been a patient of Dentist Giuseppe and Hygienist Monica for the best part of 12 years at both BUPA WE and their previous practice. Incredibly skilled, kind and professional at all times I now consider them friends. Having had a traumatic experience at a different practice it was they who alleviated my fears and now I wouldn't trust anyone else. So much so that when I move from London I will still travel to see them.

Impossible to speak to anyone to change or make an appointment, I had to go in person twice to do so. I also stopped going after one appointment due to the fact I had physio and they didnt touch me - which sounds odd but that is what physio's have to do to find the problem! Do not waste your money or time.

I have been visiting Monica for dental hygiene for many years and cannot recommended her highly enough. She always happy, does a great job and my teeth always feel so much better after a visit. I have recommended her in the past and will do so again in the future.

It’s has been over a year since I have been visiting for my dental care and I would not go anywhere else, worth every penny. Monica is my Dental Hygienist and she is always puts me at ease and does a great job being gentle and explaining everything I need to do to keep everything clean and healthy. Going to the dentist is not something I look forward to but it is necessary and I am glad to have Monica as my hygienist and would also recommend Giuseppe as he is my dental surgeon and also puts me at ease and explains everything very clearly. Will definitely continue going and recommend it to anyone including my family members. :)

I feel the customer service very poor. Previously I had been told they received no payment even though there accounts department confirmed on many occasions payment received I will be cancelling my account. The one front desk person who greets patients is not nice at all

Well if you call 8 times on a weekday during open office hours with an agreed telephone appointment and only receive a voicemail that’s pretty poor. As poor as it gets. So 1 star is justified.

Avoid this center. They book you in, happily take full upfront payment, waste half an hour of your time and then refuse to privde services due to administrational hurdles. A massive waste of everyone's time. I went streight to a close by Harley Street clinic where service is impeccable.
