    I can't even give a rating of what their service is like because twice in 2 days I went in to shop for new phones and both times no attempt was made by staff to even greet me or my partner. I can understand if the shop floor was busy but both times staff were talking amongst themselves. No customer service is as bad as terrible customer service. The only staff member who spoke to me was the one leaving out the front door when I was walking in. This isn't good enough when customer come in the minimum you can do is acknowledge they are there. All in all a mid store with low tier staff. The playlist was good though so at least I could wait around like an idiot listening to some bangers.

    We purchased a TV online yesterday with the promise of 1 hour click and collect. We are still waiting because of a typo in the email address. We have gone down every avenue offered to get help but we have not been able to speak with one person yet, just a computer chat that still hasn't responded and we are still awaiting call backs. The money was deducted promptly from our credit card but despite having an order number we are unable to collect the TV because the order is 'under review' because of the email address. The customer service - especially during lockdown is absolutely appalling, definitely take your business elsewhere!

    Still under warranty, the product I've purchased couple of months ago is not working anymore, and after a week of sending emails, I got a reply that the product has been used too much. Well...that's why we buy the products, so we can use them! Really angry and so disappointed with a follow up like that. I expect a refund or store credit to be applied. Hope they can fix this issue!

    I honestly don't know where to begin. The staff working on Thursday night on the 27th of October 2022 deserve the biggest recognition. I am more than happy to do what I can to give them the biggest shout out. The customer service they provided my partner and myself is out of this world. I wish I had taken there names. I lost my wallet in store. It was past 9 oclock when I had lost it. I called the store panicking. The AMAZING staff let me walk in after hours just to find my wallet. No one other than people with a big heart would do what they did. I hope this reaches each of them! The world needs more people like you guys.

    Well, l was impressed today, desperately needing a new washing machine. I raced into your store. James was a legend! Thank you for the most outstanding customer service l have ever had. Update on my exceptional service. I needed to change my machine to a different model. Again everything went smoothly. Another shout out to Peter for helping. Product knowledge was incredible, I was happy to have all the programs explained in detail. Again, customer service done with care. The team including the Manager Tony Really helped. I will definitely return to purchase again from my local Harvey Norman store.

    Yesterday, we went to purchase a new mattress and base. Paris, our sales assistant, was very professional and knowledgeable. She showed great interest in our needs and offered various alternatives. When we made our selection, she went over our order to ensure that we were purchasing exactly what we wanted.     Mo is such an asset to the team! He has helped my husband and I a few times recently and every time we have seen him he has been super friendly, helpful and patient. We spoke to him a few weeks ago just with general enquiries about a fridge and washing machine and when we went back in on Boxing Day he remembered exactly what we had been looking at and was able to help us complete our purchase. We are currently building so because of Mo we will buy all of our appliances and furniture through this store. Thank you Mo!!

    What an absolute pleasure it was dealing with Sam and the team in the Flooring Department. Not only did they have a fantastic range and great pricing, but Sam was a standout. Thankyou for being an absolute gentleman to deal with, extremely knowledgeable and helpful and with the upmost professionalism. Would highly recommend Sam and the team to all my family and friends for their flooring needs.

    Always very helpful staff that have taken care of any issues or queries relatively quickly. Only issue would be that the service desks are usually unmanned so expect to wait for 5-1mins to be noticed if you are bringing something in to be repaired.

    Very unprofessional and unorganised. Very low grade furniture. Bought a bed couple of years ago and it broke while me and my new born just just sat on it nearly hit my new borns head on the ground. The screws from one side of the bed were in half. Very low quality product when you are paying top dollar thinking such a big company wouldn’t have these kind of issues and will deliver in there fake promises. Don’t think that owner has any clue to how his business is being run. When I called to tell them the issue, the person who attended the phone call said he will follow up and call me back in the afternoon but I was required to send them photos of the damaged goods. Which he was going to text me with the email address to send photos on. Which never happened. No duty of care. Very pathetic.

    Went today with the intention of buying a TV, staff member went to go see how many they had in stock with the model I was after, we waited but he never came back to us, then I saw him serving another customer, I just walked out, it appeared he couldn't be bothered with us, so I couldnt be bothered with buying a TV from Harvey Norman. Lost sale due to sad customer service.

    Actually, I vowed never to go back to Harvey Norman after previously being pushed to buy more than we wanted by one of the salesmen and after seeing Jerry Norman boast about the increased sales due to COViD-19. 19. But after receiving poor service at another store, we did but a clothes dryer.

His knowledge was amazing as help help us navigate through all the products available, finding the best colour and product to suit our requirements.     Hey, I would reccomend going to here. There is a very great range of technology, housings, anything you can think of that is not that big. They sell quality brands, if you ask how I know? I have recently bought a Nikon Camera, it works perfectly fine in great condition with a slapping of 1-2 years of guarantee. The workers are really helpful, even though you didnt ask for anything, they will most probably come next to you and ask if you need help finding/looking for a product.

    I always get excellent service at this Harvey Norman! Highly recommended for furniture, blenders, coffee machines and top quality electronics! Staff are price conscious and I saved heaps on my new Breville BOSS 1500W blender with great customer service to top it off!! Loads of parking and good pick up service or delivery.

    Worst customer service experience of my life. I called up the furniture department to get a quote for an item for a client. The man I spoke to was hostile from the moment he picked up the call. He was deflective, defensive, called me a liar and dishonest, ranted about random topics and was one of the most unpleasant people I've ever spoken to. He told me that they don't do quotes and I mentioned that I just spoke to a different store and they gave me one, he then called me a liar. After that he started ranting about there being different departments, that money is tight because of the lockdown, constantly insinuated I was working for the government, called me dishonest and most of what he said I didn't understand because he had a strong accent so I'm sure there were further insults that I missed. Whenever I would try and explain why I needed a quote to give to the client he would deflect with irrelevant points such as telling me to come down and buy the item for a price then ask if the price was better than I was offered before. After the third attempt to have a productive conversation I realised that wasn't going to happen and even if I did get a quote at a lower price I wouldn't give my business to someone so rude.

    I can't recommend these guys enough. We recently bought a Samsung fridge which failed within 24 hours of delivery. Harvey Norman's staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a new unit delivered to our place in no time at all; they even followed up a few weeks after to make sure the replacement fridge was working as intended. Will definitely shop there again!

    We have waited 4 weeks for our new fridge a whole month. The way the workers are speaking to us is not on. They said it would take 2 weeks but nooo after 2 weeks of waiting they told us that the fridge that we paid for doesn't get made anymore they waited 2 whole weeks to tell us that. Than they told us that we can get a upgraded fridge but it will take another 2 weeks. We have waited the 2 weeks now and then they go and tell us that we have to wait another whole 2 weeks. If they don't get there act together we will be going to another shop and getting a fridge from there. You should be ashamed with yourself, all Harvey Normans should be closed!

    Have purchased a number of varying computers and phones from Harvey Norman in Taylors Lakes. Have always had good experience. Not their fault but I stay away from HP all in 1 computer. Have had 3 die on me and data is hard to retrieve if you can at all. Previous tech guy needed to send it somewhere else and we got very limited info back.

    Purchased a couch from Harvey Norman watergardens about 2 years back and now all cushions are sagging and warranty claim is so difficult. At the time of purchase 5 years warranty was given, I have the card as well. Been weeks of contacting them, they asked for pictures and no one has followed up since. Without even looking at the pictures, a rep called me to say it won’t be in warranty and I told them I have the warranty card and the invoice. That’s when they asked to send them again and it was on 18 November, since then I jave not even received an acknowledgement, leave apart a repair/replacement. I would expect better service from a reputed store like Harvey Norman and would expect some response to the emails I have sent.

    Really big store that has a huge variety of different products to compare. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Most of the big ticket items are set up so you can try them out and get a better idea of the functionality. Overall one of the best places to buy home products.

    Excellent service. Yesterday I attended the store at Watergardens on my lunch break (so time was limited) Upon entering I was asked if I needed assistance and upon answering Yes I was directed to where I needed to look for what I wanted. Gentleman approached me virtually straight away. I knew exactly what I was after. Assisted me with my purchase. None in stock but he organised a transfer and then personally delivered it to me this morning to my home (it was his day off!) I was in and out of the store within 15 minutes max 😀😀😀 Thank you so very much for your fantastic service Erik!!! Very much appreciated!!! 👏👏👏

    We went last night to buy a camera, not one person came to help us. We stood waiting at the camera counter for 20mins, people were in a back room, saw us waiting and just shut the door. Staff we saw, were more happy chatting to each other then helping us. We walked out without one person talking to us, and no camera.

    Money hungry, unprofessional and inconsistent. Purchased a phone yesterday from your store, no one offered their service. Had to approach someone for help (atleast the person was really friendly and helpful though). Yesterday it was fine with price matching another store and lowering the price by a single dollar and I was provided with the $100 bonus gift card. Another store has since advertised the product for cheaper and I wasn't 100% sure if I could get the difference refunded under the price guarantee. Today I rang the store and spoke to Ken who looked up the transaction and then the deal with a competitor and he said yes if I come into store they would refund the difference back to me. So I drove all 40 minutes to the store to wait and then be told by who I later found out was the franchisee owner that the price I had seen must be a glitch and therefore he would not honour it... since then another store has also marked their product down (definitely not a glitch). I refused to take that as an excuse because I had already rang the store to ask about it. He then kept looking more and more into it and said he would not give me a $100 refund because I had a $100 gift card as a bonus from yesterday's transaction. Said he would give me $100 if I gave the gift card back which wasn't possible cos I had already spent some of it on things like a cover to go with the phone.... And that resolves nothing! I wouldn't have driven 40 minutes for that. I understand people sometimes make mistakes but atleast own up to it and offer a proper solution (providing a $50 gift card does not make up for your mistake... I'll be spending it at another harvey norman because you are not worthy of it!). Never buying from your store again, I should have gone elsewhere. I would have given zero stars if I could after todays lack of service by the franchisee owner. Pathetic.

    I have purchased Product Care several times over the years when purchasing high value goods and electronics. At the time of sale they told me that this Product Care cover any problems including accidental damage that may happened in transit to school and from school. After 2 years we made a claim and they just make it impossible. We paid for this Product Care $500, close to 30% of the value of the laptop just because accidental damage was mention by sales person. Worst experience ever. Stop purchasing this product, it's a big scam.one star it's to much.

    I purchased a laptop along with software for my sons birthday. The sales person advised they could not hold onto it more than 2 weeks. Anyway I purchased it as I felt I had no choice, a week out from my sons birthday I started installing everything and noticed I didn't have the office software card I paid for. I contacted Harvey norman and explained my situation. Lauren spoke to various personnel trying to help me out. The camera footage showed it was provided so I may have misplaced it. But big shout out to Lauren for trying to go over and beyond to assist. THANK YOU.

    Terrible experience. I have ordered a pot of Bose surround speakers in November last year !! They have still not arrived . They said they will be in within 2 weeks . I paid at the time. It has now been 10 months waiting . I have called over 20 times and still can’t get answers . I highly recommend not dealing with this store . Very unprofessional and no care for the customer

    I had to buy a particular gps that only this branch had so I called up and asked the salesman named Lawrence if he could reserve one for me as I was 30 minutes away. I was very impressed with his service as he not only greeted me with respect he had put the unit away for me so I couldn't be disappointed when I reached the store as it was the only unit left and none of the other branches had any.     We went to buy a new recliner as the recliner we bought a few years ago has collapsed! The staff were very friendly and told us the recliner is still under warranty. They gave us a number to contact but 10 days later no reply. Sorry Harvey Norman you are only as good as the suppliers that fill your showroom. I have called your store just 2 days ago to let them know I have not heard back from your supplier, only to be told wait…. I am waiting…..

    Ordered a TV that they said they had in store and could deliver next day. No phone call the following day so I called the store to see what time it was coming. Told that it wasn't even booked in. Put me through to the sales guy who said it was a system error, the one they had was a return not a new one. Didn't explain why it wasn't even scheduled in for delivery though. Went in to the store to cancel the order as The Good Guys did have one that they could deliver the following day. Told that they would put they paperwork on the managers desk to cancel and that would be done later that same day or the following and then they would call me and refund the delivery fee that I paid also. Well that was 5 days ago and I've still haven't had a call so I will have to chase it up. The worst customer service ever and never seen a store so unorganised. If I could give minus 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend going to The Good Guys. Cheaper, great service and know what they are doing!

    The service from both Lisa and James (Bedding) was amazing. They were super informative but never made you feel pressured. They gave us a myriad of options and were excellent to deal with.

    I ordered an item online. I received a message to call them to confirm everything. I call them the first time I was left on hold for 30 minutes. I give up and I said I’ll try again. I call them again, I ended up getting left on hold then they decided to end the call. If you guys want me to call you at least don’t hang up. Mind you this is during their opening times and durning their non busy times

    Always receive great customer service when visiting this store. Staff in all departments are very welcoming, friendly and professional. Always well looked after when buying products from here. Recently bought 2 bed frames and mattress from here. As well as a lounge along with oven and rangehood a couple months before that. Very happy with all purchases. Highly recommend👌

    We paid for our couch to be delivered to our house, the driver refused to take it to the living room and only wanted to leave it at the front door saying that he doesn't get paid enough to take it inside. I had to move a 150kg couch on my own and set it up myself even though we paid for him to assemble it. This is the second time this has happened and we will never ever be purchasing from this store ever again

    Store is great But the technician here is dumb as a bone. Does know how to connect Bluetooth keyboards, doesn’t know what’s tactile feedback and surely have no idea about premium keyboards. I brought in a 170 dollar, MX keys mini for replacement as left side of keys we’re getting stuck mid way. The guy told me he’ll need to get approval from Logitech and “is protecting his stock”. I went to another store it got replaced straight away. Lol! Another reason why JbHiFi is better than Harvey normal Technicians there know what they are talking about!

    Great customer service from Joe who helped us with our dream TV. Amazing friendly service and he have shared to us all the info we need. Great experience with the staff at payment registers as well. We always come to this branch, and we have never been disappointed.

    Please people save your money. After spending over $7000 on a lounge suite at this store just over 2yrs ago one of the recliners is no longer working and they want to charge us fix it. It's also one of the recliners that is hardly used. Very dissapointed in deed andI will be seeking advise from consumer affairs. The other thing going thru all the paperwork it states 5yr on Leather etc but no where does it mention the mechanical warranty on the documentation... very shifty if you ask me.

    Purchased a TV and table top stand from this store and was told that the items are in stock. Sales person said he will inform us on the day of purchase when the TV can be delivered, no phone call at all. Rang the store to see when the TV will be delivered and was told by a different sales person that the items are not in stock. Two days later the original sales person told us the TV and stand will be delivered on such and such a day.He rang back and was told that the TV will not be delivered on those days but on another day. Rang the store on that delivery day and was told that the table top stand was cracked and they have to order another one and it will be a few more days to get the stand from Sydney. Went back to the store to get a full refund for both items and was told that they ordered the wrong stand for the TV and had to order the correct one. Will never buy anything from this store again.

    Had a really great experience today with the help from James from Y Goods! He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on all products. He made an overwhelming task easy and stress free!! We came back to Harvey Norman just for James :)

    Ordered photos multiple times & unsure why I continue to return- this will be my last order. I never receive confirmation when my order is ready to pick up, often receiving multiples of the wrong photos and they seem to just be shoved into the packet (photos folded in half leaving creases). When I questioned why I didn't receive an alert that my order was ready (had been waiting 3+ weeks) the store advised that they're usually ready to pick up the next day so just to come in- why doesn't the website state this & why after my orders have been sitting there, for so long, hasn't someone called me to let me know? Store staff appear friendly enough, however service and process appears to be a bit of a mess.

    Walked into one of the busiest sales weekends your team probably experience through the year was greeted by a lovely team member by the name of Mohammed who was absolutely brilliant from the moment he approached me to going through the different models of a fridge /freezer aLong with a new oven.. he was able to give me a great deal on both products and I went home to research the products and ensure they fit the area needed to come back the next day to find him in store ready to easily seal the sale Mohammed is an absolute asset to your team and deserves to be recognised for his positive approach along with his friendly very informative sales approach I will definitely refer family & friends to him for ant big purchase items .Thankyou again Mohammed appreciate your time and patience and positive attitude best wishes from a very Happy customer:)

    I always feel satisfied when I make a purchase from this store. Everything is explained in detail and they were very patient with me. I would recommend them and would shop there again. Great customer service. Hope they keep it up.

    Sales - Great Discounts - great. Service: I went today (Boxing day), there was an offer where you get 10% worth of gift card on what you buy. I had to buy 3 items, I bought 2 and wanted to use the 10% I earned on gift cards by buying those 2 items on the 3rd item. But the guy at the store said you can not use the gift card on the same day in the same department. Which was not correct as it doesn't say anything like that on the gift card. I had to travel to another Harvey Norman in Sunshine where it was perfectly fine to use that gift card on the item I was looking for. I don't know why you would make someone travel 20 extra mins where you can sell that same item at your own store. If the owner is reading this, just request, Harvey Norman invests so much into marketing and having a good name and little things like this just turn people off, and trust me I don't think I would want to visit this store again.

    Very Bad experience!! I called into the store for buying a samsung Mobile. Sales person name Adam over the phone gave me a price of $199. I went to the store there was a ticket with a price of $178. I asked a sales person that we would like to purchase the mobile phone. When we went to the counter he mentioned that the price is $199. Salesperson went back to double check the price. Then he took the ticket to show it to his manager He came back and said he can offer us $185. I just asked him if he can honiur the same price as ticketed. His manager came to get involved in the conversation. He was very rude to us start showing us hand. It made us feel that we have done something wrong as we just asked them to honour same price if possible. It made us feel really embarrased as we have done something wrong. We left the store without purchasing and went to Thomastown Harvey norman and purchased a expensive phone. As they were more freindly with the customer service they provided. I will be calling the store manager to discuss further as we were treated really badly by this staff mamber name ADAM. I would suggest not to deal with them at all. I even took the picture for the price they had over the phone

    Very stupid action taken by Harvey Norman by restricting the toilet access to the public. They should understand that the families comes with little children and spend at least couple of hours in store to select their preferred products. Not having access to toilets is a miserable situation for the parents and I am sure for others too.
