    Would definitely NOT reccomend Taylors Lakes Lombards party shop👎.Please head to Moonee Ponds Lombards or one of the other franchaises. The customer service at Taylor's Lake Lombard is AWFUL. After walking into the store no one bothered to greet me or help me out. Staff were just popping up signs on their windows. There was 10 staff on a Friday afternoon yet standing at the counter for 10mins with a lady right in front of me ignoring the fact I was there as she was too busy placing plastic bags over the balloons that 6 staff were currently blowing up. It would of been nice to get an acknowledment that someone will be at the register soon. Hell it would of been nice to just ask if I needed any help or if someone was with me. After waving to down one of the guys, Michael, he came down to serve me while the other ladies just blew up balloons & chit chatted. I'm sure they all could see me waiting at the register since I was only less then two meters away from seeing them blow up the balloons. I understand the team may have the weekend balloons to get prepared for however the teams disorganisation shouldnt causes customers to continually wait without an acknowledgement that someone will be there to assist soon. No one could be bothered to serve at the counter or deal with anyone. Management needs to train their staff better on customer service. Don't hire people if they can't deal with customers & just want to do the back end work. 0 stars for customer service & not serving customers in a timely manner. 10 stars for Michael who actually apologised on behalf of the staff and came down to the register.

    I had ordered a balloon for a gender reveal from this store. I took the black bag off that was over the balloon in front of 50 guests and the mum and dad to be to see a hot pink confetti piece stuck to the outside of the balloon. Before even popping the balloon everyone knew the gender. This ruined the surprise. Very disappointing. Staff should be checking these balloons before handing it over to a paying customer especially for an event like this. I contacted Lombards to provide this feedback and was advised that a manager was going to contact me. No call back. Poor customer service.

    Lack of customer service skills In-store was very frustrating when ordering a balloon garland. But in the following weeks we received numerous rude and unhelpful communications from Charlene, who continually tried to charge us extra for services that were not agreed to in our contract. We will avoid this store in the future and recommend everyone go elsewhere for your party needs. It's not worth the stress and headaches.

    My mum and myself came in today in organising my baby shower. We had a very lovely lady name Sharon helping us. Sharon was very helpful, patient and friendly to us both and took her time in showing us lots of ideas and communicating prices. A few times now that I have come in the store Sharon has been fantastic. There is another young girl that works at the store who helped me organise my gender reveal last month and had been helpful as well, but unfortunately I do not remember her name. Thank you Sharon for helping us with everything and making my mum and myself feel comfortable. 😊

    The service was poor I had to ask for assistance. The balloons are over prices and will go foggy. Better place to go is the party shop on braybrook or the 2 dollar shop in taylors lakes.

    The staff were happy and helpful. They were more than happy to try and accommodate for a few balloons I required on the spot. The prices are a little on the expensive side. However, they do have great items

    I went in at last minute as I had forgotten to get balloons for my twins birthday. The person I spoke to sorted me out quickly. Helped me with am arrangement in my price range and had them inflated straight away. I was very anxious walking in there due to my time constraints but walked out relaxed. Thanks for your effort.

    Ordered some ballons they didn't even stay up for 24 hours. Called the Taylor's Lakes store spoke with Sophie explaining my problem she was a great help sent pick of ballons via email and was very happy to replace all ballons and added a couple more for our troubles my daughters 8th birthday can now go ahead with her ballons. Fantastic service thanks again Sophie.

    My favourite go to party shop especially for Halloween. The staff are very good especially Charlene, she's amazing. Excellent range and variety of items. Can be a little pricey for some items but a great one stop shop especially at book week too. Good rewards program too.

    The lack of customer service by the 2 older ladies is disgusting! If you don’t want to work or help your customers don’t work, simple as! String wasn’t tied on properly, balloons weren’t filled as they should be! rip off

    They have soo much (except different party hats, funnily enough) which is great for planning and giving ideas... they would also be good for last minute plans although you will pay for it - they are not cheap.

    Just went with my wife and son to pick up some items for our stores and the older woman serving was horrid, talk about moody. My wife gave her the phone number linked to the account, a process we have repeated many times however and she couldn’t find it and it was an effort for her to even respond “nope”,. My wife asked nicely to try again and she found it it, obviously she put it in wrong the first time.but couldn’t manage a smile or apologise for the first error. Is it really so hard to be polite to customers? I could understand if my wife wasn’t polite to you but this wasn’t the case. Even my 11 year old walked out asking what was her problem. To the owners I suggest you get this employee some training in customer service. She couldn’t even manage a simple greeting, just started scanning without even acknowledging anyone. If we ran our business like this we wouldn’t get return customers

    Very excited before entering the store...unfortunately, unhappy as soon as I entered the shop. Both the girls hardly made eye contact when asking information. Rude to customers..looking for some tiny balloon's on display..couldn't find them around the shop..finally the girls are hiding them at the counters. Finally got some stuff and the girl serving without any name badge was throwing the balloon boxes in a rude way. Horrible service from the girl..whatever could find the manager around the store, so left the shop with my stuff.

    Looking for costumes of any pop culture and generic style? Lombards is the place to be haha. No refunds though so once you buy a costume, it's not accepted back.

    Mary was super helpful throughout the entire process. She answered my multiple questions, helped me with colour choices for the balloon arrangement, and called to confirm the booking. My mind was so at ease that things would arrive and on time! The set up was so stunning, everyone commented on how well it looked. Would definitely use them again.

    We done a simple order for a party and everything was completely wrong. Name was spelt incorrect on our feature balloon. Half our order was not delivered and we called the store and asked and the person on the phone and he said "too bad, come and get it because we are not delivering it". And we paid for delivery but still they said No. We had to go abandon half our paid for order because they forgot to load it in the truck Staff have no clue what they are doing.

    Just got unfairly charged $134 for cancelling a balloon package for an event booked 3 weeks away. Order placed just 3 days before. Reason of cancellation is because they want to deliver a day before the event (time can't be confirmed) and they want the event place to hold the hire stuff until they pick it up 2 days after the event (again they can't confirm the time of pick up). I mean, ofcourse the function room wont be able to hold those hire item incase they have an event booked in before and after my event. Asked the staff if they could atleast charge me for the backdrops and plinth and not the whole package since technically that is the only thing i'm hiring and not the entire balloon arrangement, and he keeps going on and on about the hire cancellation policy. It's just so unfair.

    There's a lot of stock but a lot of the same types of stock (eg, hundreds of costumes but realistically only 10 variations), but it felt a little mismanaged, however we found what we needed relatively quick so that was okay. When we went to pay the two girls at the front appeared really busy so we waited a minute or so to get served and were served quickly. I understand they may not have enough room, but the orders being taken and made did made the front look kinda messy and disorganised, so if there's a way to remedy that it might be a bit more welcoming.

    Went to watergardens store to buy Melb demons balloons They were the old shield design. Out of date,obviously been there for 6 years. Stated they didnt get any new stock. HOW CAN YOU SELL PERISHED STOCK Dont go there.

    I won't be going back here. When ordering ballons I asked the sales assistant to inflate them so I could see how the colours looked together. It took a lot of pushing to get her to oblige, with lots of huffing and puffing on her end. I ordered some balloons to be ready at 11am a few days later. My husband got there at 11:30am on the day and they hadn't even started blowing them up. Had to go back later on to get them. With the price tag (more than $90 for 30 helium balloons), you would think they would have them ready on time. I have had good experiences here in previous years, but after this will not be going back. Level of service has dropped significantly.

    I ordered silver balloons and when went it to pick up they all were grey when i asked the lady she said they call grey silver at LOMBARD which just sound me so stupid. Then suggested me i want to take white instead which i agree to. In the end they asked me to pay for the white as well. They are just rippers. I advise everyone to avoid this store if you don't waste your hard earned money. BIG-W staff is more respectible and provide much more better service than this LOMBARD store. I can't give these guys any star the service they provide to thier customers. But bad luck that without any star cna't submit the review.

    i Have bougjt cling gladwrap and i opened at home and it was faulty , you cant spin it , i returned back to shop next day and was told they wont return my money back because its opened , what a joke , last time i bought plastic cups for water and many of them was stuck , this people even charge much more then other shops for same products , no manners towards customers , inpolite when you have problem they are not goong to help you , goodbye lombard never again i will shop there , thanks for rude staff , Louis
