Anna offered helpful advice such as not to forget to claim Duty Free on our purchase and also helped set up the locks on our luggage, Then offered the lift instead of using the steps when we were leaving, making for an easier exit. U can always find a bag here to buy at a sale price :) They have almost everything for all the different tastes.

If you are in desperate need for quality and affordable luggae in the CBD, then this is the place for you. The selection is broad with plenty of quality items in a wide variety of colours. If you are visiting Melbourne and have to get a luggage piece in a hurry - save yourself time, effort, money and stress by just navigating here and avoiding other stops. It is awesome.

Came to the store and all staffs were busy arranging the suitcases display. Unhelpful staffs, Had to wait for them to be done. Felt like a burden to them when asked on the pricing and stuffs. Closing time on google page is not accurate too.

Strandbags always have a good selection of leather handbags, purses and wallets. If you have something specific in mind, the chances are, that you will find it in Strandbags. Their prices are reasonable and competitive for leather and very reasonable for non leather. They often have sales, that make the quality they have even more affordable. Well worth checking them out. Staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Total joke. Purchased two American Tourister cases here, both started falling apart after one trip. They are supposed to have a lifetime warranty but when I returned one, I was asked to pay to repair it. I didn't want the product anymore because it was made terribly. Shop staff were unhelpful and avoidant, never getting back to me after weeks. Buy your luggage online.

Good store, great customer service! The suit case that I was after was out of stock and staff helped me check stocks across stores and finally found me a suit case exactly like the one I was looking for.

Was flat out ignored whilst younger customers were happily helped and greeted. Ageism is not a good look, staff need educating that not all customers are under 35. Anyone older than 35 will be ignored and or treated rudely or as invisible in this store.

Went here to buy bags. Staff so helpful and polite. Prices is vary of choices. Little advice maybe add one or two staff more just to help in busy hours.

I popped in to quickly buy a suitcase before a trip. I was helped by a shorter young woman from NZ (sorry didn’t get her name ands that’s the best I can do to describe her) - she was super helpful and answered al my questions. It was an easy and pleasant experience.

Came to buy a suitcase before heading on holiday. It was during opening hours but the doors were locked despite a lot of staff inside who were doing their best to ignore us. Called the store phone number but no answer. I figured they were doing a restock and came back an hour later. Still locked, still no sign on the door, still a lot of staff ignoring people who looked in the door.

Spent $200+ on a work bag for my partner which only lasted 3 months before metal started ripping and poking through the fabric. This also scratched his work clothes and ruined those, thanks to your cheap quality products! Do not spend your money here, you’re better off buying bags from Shein.

Walked around the basement waiting for this sale person to approach me after serving another customer but unfortunately she went for another white male customer who came later and walked after me. She basically needed to ignore me in order to ask what he was after thus helping him find what he needed. So I had to go upstairs and leave. What else to do? I guess Asian customers can help themselves and need not to be attended to? 2 stars not 1 in case it’s an isolated event and she has good reasons not to see me.

I just bought a suitcase from this store and was totally blown away by the amazing customer service. Everyone in the store was so attentive, friendly and helpful. When you walk in, greetings, smiles and checking on you when you look lost. You just feel so welcome being there. An experience I have never had in Sydney. Customer service basically does not exist there. It’s a rude competition shopping in Sydney. Oops sorry I got sidetracked. Back to our topic. Besides, I found a really good deal. The one I bought was really light and the wheels are really smooth. Such a pleasant shopping experience. Well done team. Keep up the good work. Highly recommend!

I only bought a cheap wallet, but when checking out I was served by someone called Michelle (I think) and she was absolutely lovely. Amazing customer service. The other employees were also friendly, attentive and with smiles, but my experience with Michelle was really positive and when I visit next I hope I am served by her again. I know from word of mouth the bags are high quality, the sales are frequent, and as mentioned they have amazing customer service. Great retail experience!!

Shout out to Nikki for being amazing! I've been buying Ruby and Kit backpacks from strandbags for years now with no problems until now, and i got my fifth, a laptop backpath, a month and a half ago. To my dismay i recently noticed one of the straps on it had been almost half torn off. I don't overload it or anything like that so i had no idea why it was happening, but it was clear that if I didn't do something pretty soon it would come off completely even if i was super careful not to put pressure on it, so I took it back to strandbags hoping maybe they had some advice to make the bag still wearable. I didn't have my original receipt so i wasn't expecting much but Nikki happily swapped it over with a different colour one they still had stock off. I am very surprised and grateful to her. Obviously I will continue buying all my bags from strandbags. Thank you so much!

Liked the store, variety with reasonable price and friendly staffs

I’ve bought quite a few nice bags and purses from here. however one Marakai purse had a zip malfunction after 5 months of use. I was told they only had a 3 month warranty. I didn’t think i was buying cheap junk, but apparently it is. Won’t be shopping there in future.

Staff need a training for customer service. I ask for help but they seems bother because I cut their conversation. Improved your customer service so people who come to your store feel welcome.

We had an issue with our luggage whilst on holiday in Melbourne. Store Manager Kelly went way above & beyond to assist us. Nothing was too difficult. She was truly exceptional. Highly recommend you visit the store.. Kelly even contacted our local store to assist when we arrive back home.
