The updated Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit has opened up better wheel to wheel racing. The changes have been godsent for F1 where there are now much more overtaking opportunities as compared to the prior layout. The precinct is massive and offers lots of viewing opportunities across the track. During the F1 Grand Prix , it can be really packed so always plan ahead.

This is a very nice park, and you could also walk along the circuit. I was here before Formula One and during Formula One and I love it. It could be very sunny and hot here, and I struggled to find water point nearby. On further thought, we could have been better prepared for Formula One with chairs and plenty of water and some umbrella. Will love to go again

Amazing atmosphere at the F1. Definitely better than previous years with more stalls, food & drinks, in addition to the races, the helicopter ride was a highlight. Thanks F1 & Melbourne for a well organised event.

Brilliant experience at the Australian GP. Formula 1 is very well suited to this location and has shown year after year that it gets better. Many different seating options and experiences for varying budgets and interests.

Superb. I have been to F1 in many countries and this year's Melb GP was the best. Tiny ques for food, drink and toilets. Easy parking and no traffic problems (from south east). Good grandstands and also good general access standing and seating areas. Tables and chairs for eating. Giant screens everywhere.

Awesome place to come even if you aren't a fan of cars. The atmosphere is where it is at. However, if you have a pram or have accessibility impaired, you are going to have a hard time. Not the easiest place to get around and no parents room to put a pram in especially if you are travelling solo with multiple kids.

Well organised event. Plenty of food and drink options however felt as though there could have been more entertainment options around the track prior to the race!

Bloody awesome experience coming to Albert Park to watch the F1 and other races. Super crowded but well worth it! Can’t wait till next year!

It's expensive but worth it! Albert park is a great place to watch F1. Hopefully the new circuit will lead to much more passing opportunities! The amount of activities on is fantastic as well.

2021.. Back again.. Another great race weekend. Food is ridiculously priced, as is the merchandise.. $200+ for a shirt?? $80 for a cap?? 2019... An awesome spot for F1 race. Maybe they could remove a certain concrete path just past the finish line to make sure that anyone who may put a wheel off the track during the start of a race while avoiding competitors has the ability to race and not destroy their car 😁.

Albert Park is a great place to go to see a F1 race. We went for both qualifying and race day and were impressed by how much there was do and see. For starters, Albert Park is beautiful. On top of that, it's practically non-stop racing, with 4 or 5 support series happening in addition to the Grand Prix itself. If that's not enough, you can walk around the whole park, something I strongly recommend to any car enthusiast, as there were a lot of driver meet ups with pretty much every car make having a meet up in the outfield. I would strongly recommending getting a GP Advantage pass, as it will also give you access to grandstand seats and the GP Advantage zone, where you have less crowded restrooms, and somewhat more relaxed area to enjoy the proceedings. It is no wonder that the Albert park circuit is considered one of the best. Apart from the race there is plenty of other entertainment included in your entry fee. The layout is very easy to navigate and there are good vantage points of all areas of the racetrack. Free trams from the city to the track run constantly. It is well worth attending!

Not much to see when it’s not racing season. But still can walk on the pit lane, and imagine the passion and speed.

Wide and large! If you're a fan of Formula 1 you should not miss this event. This circuit fully functional world class experience for the better F1 race with beautiful of surrounding area of pond and parking area. Recommend to use metro or Uber to access to this place to avoiding the crowned but if you have a car can be parking on the other side that provided.

Well the stands are going up for the 2023 F1. Excitement is in the sir. The fans are flying in to Melbourne. The teams are getting ready to arrive. That's hope it's a great year for Riccardo and Max.

Albert Park Lake is a good place to visit. There's swans, ducks an other waterfowl and a 5km walking or jogging track around the perimeter. There are good views to the city skyline. As a Grand Prix circuit, it is awful as the months long annual construction and bumping out ruins the peaceful park experience for visitors and wildlife. Many grassy areas have a few months of green cover before they turn into paddocks of dead grass, gravel and mud.

Fantastic venue, however lineups for drinks and food were perhaps too long. When you did eventually get to the front there was enough stock for you to buy anything on the menu. There was a wide variety of places to view the track. Paid seating was well laid out however there was a lack of shade provided. Public transport in and out of the event was very well handled even if wait times were surprisingly long. Very good memories and looking forward to going back the next year.

Absolutely worth a visit if you are in Melbourne during the GP festivities. We prefer to watch the main race on TV as coverage is excellent; but, if at the circuit, you have only a static view of the race. But it's so exciting to go to a practice day and to watch the testing and the supercar and Porsche races. These days are inexpensive and not overly crowded (free if you are a Middle Park resident!)

Had an amazing experience at the 2022 GP. One of the most fun experiences in my life! Aside from the park the gp needs improvement. There is little shade and the toilet facilities are horrible. It's hard to get around track as general admission as it's all blocked off by things.

Undoubtedly one of the best circuits on the Formula One calendar. I would say that Adelaide would still be a better option for the Australian GP, but I still enjoy watching the race around here.

Great spot for a Grand Prix! Nothing there yet - building the circuit starts in January. We were there inspecting the site for the Historics which will be in V8 central. 60 cars will be running on Thursday, Friday & Sunday. Place looks a picture.

Awesome 4 days spent here for the 2022 Australian F1 Grand Prix. There is something for everyone, from my 3mth old Neice to Oldies who went to the first ever GP. This year was very busy most days sold out and with the shortage of staff across the country there was fairly long wait times for food and drinks at the bar but if you time it during the on track action you weren't waiting as long. Plenty off track action including simulators, vintage cars, Q & A with teams and drivers, live music throughout the days and evenings, Tech Hubs, Tool Stands, Competitions and Merchandise and lots more. The on track action is fantastic with all different types and races throughout the 4 days. All in all a great event for All!

  • 5/5 Nikki V. 2 years ago on Google
The Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix is one of the best on the calendar. Pretty much no other F1 race on the calendar has so much on and off track action. It's fantastic and super well organised and prices are reasonable for tickets.

Jammed in more grandstands this year but didn’t increase the infrastructure and it really showed. You expect queues at an event like this but it actually became almost impossible to get food and drink on Saturday/Sunday. Even water was a nightmare to find. Otherwise still a good event and atmosphere is great. Wish they would do a little more for the thousands of fans in GA for vantage points but guess that undermines the higher value grandstands so that is what it is I guess.
