I was at the Kathmandu at Northland last Sunday to make some purchases and was amazed at the customer centricity that was demonstrated by the staff at the store, in particular i was impressed by their staff Padma and Supriya who provided Top Notch service levels, speaks volumes for the Brand, Thank You Guys :)

Tash was super helpful and provided excellent customer service on both occasions that i visited the store to help me pick my hiking bag. Excellent range and customer service.

came in today for a jacket cause the weather was getting a bit colder. i didn’t expect to receive the worst customer service by someone who was the ‘store manager’. i’m not sure if her name was supeena or sue priya but she was very blunt at the register. such a shame, i’ll take my money elsewheree

As always, a great experience at Kathmandu. I had a Gore-tex rain coat that has lost some of its waterproofness. I went to buy a spray to rewaterproof it but the manager said it shouldn’t do that so replaced the jacket. A much better response than expected.

Too expensive and always on issue with their payment processing systems

Amazing customer service - went in to buy a beach shelter, and wanted to see how big the ones they had in stock were. Staff went out of their way to completely assemble a tent in the store so we could see the size and recommend some different colours they had in stock. Highly recommended!

On Saturday the 20th of June, 2020 my friend and I were treated with the most incredible customer experience by two wonderful team members Abbey and Ally. We were first welcome by Ally who was super helpful and pointed us in the right direction for hiking boots. We then were served and attended to by Ally who's knowledge and patience and kindness were overwhelming. My friend and I were so impressed with the level of service, the knowledge that she has regarding all of the products she helped us with, and her patience and willingness to help. I really have never been so respected, helped and listened to by an employee and I know that this experience has absolutely endeared me to Kathmandu and I will be returning in future purely due to the incredible service! Thank you Abbey and Ally!

Don't send your gear off for repairs! Dropped off partner's coat for a simple repair and was told it would be ready in 10 days. A month later and no call to quote the cost of repair or provide an update. At this point we just want the coat back. It's freezing in Melbourne. Serious lack of communication. Disappointing. Next time we'll fix it ourselves...

Customer service provided by Ally beyond what I have experienced with other stores. He product knowledge, advice and assistance to choose the right product is very helpul. After having been refused to exchange an item for which I did not have the receipt for by another store, Ally let me part exchange it for another item. Thank you Ally and keep up your cheerful personality.

High quality products and great customer service

Received outstanding customer service from the team at Northlands, very friendly and customer focused. Special thanks to Jacob, who handled my returned item (jacket) so well, and when the afterpay system played up, he apologised and tried to find other solutions by calling another store and attemping the system return again. In the end, I was able to exchange the item with a few others, and he ensured that everything went perfectly well, and the left-over money he was able to give me a gift voucher with. Such excellent customer service! I was very impressed with his sincere professionlism and the professionalim of the team.

While the gear they have is alright The people working there don't have much experience with hiking or camping and couldn't explain much about the products other then what was on the tag I went to macpac 2 minutes walking away and the people there could explain what the products do and which ones they use and like

I asked for my shopping to be delivered to the store for ease and convenience, thinking it would arrive faster. I called twice to ask if it had arrived, and both times got told by a very rude and unhelpful woman that I had to wait for an email confirmation. When actually what has happened, my order has been delivered, and staff have opened it and put it on the shelf. Really really unimpressed.

Everything on sale at the moment so prices were good. Standard variety of stuff. Nothing special or outstanding about this outlet but nothing bad either. Pretty well stocked and easy to find what you're looking for.

I purchased two kids jackets from this store on the 8th of June - six weeks ago. I paid $240 for two jackets. One now has a hole in it, the other is losing feathers. I visited the store with my receipt six weeks after purchasing these items. They refused to do anything about it - they would not fix it, they would not return it. The clothes are rubbish and the customer service is rubbish. I would never purchase from Kathmandu again.
