Stopped by on Steak night. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare, with a decent salad and jus. We went the vegan desert, which we wouldn't usually go for but it was really well executed and delicious. Staff were very warm and friendly.

Stopped in for a quick solo dinner on a work trip. Nice venue with clean and stylish decor and a nice atmosphere. Small but good selection of beer on tap. Food was tasty but quite pricey at $30 for the chicken schnitzel as pictured (just a schnitzel and small fresh but bland salad).

Had dinner here with my daughter, and it was lovely. Prompt, friendly service with a cosy atmosphere. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. The Berry Sour cocktail was so good, I had to have 2! I will be back next time I'm in Melbourne.

We had a fantastic end of year post AGM party for 75 guests upstairs. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious with plenty to go around. This is the second event we have had at Saint and Rogue as we are happy customers.

It's right next door to the salsa studio I go to. I'd been wanting to come here for a meal on my salsa days for over a year, and I finally had a chance last night. The venue is a historical building that provides comfortable dining environment. The vibe was great. Bartenders were all very helpful. The mocktails they made us were refreshing and yummy! I don't have a photo of the steak I ordered. However I must say that steak was cooked perfectly. Medium rare to the best it could be. I'd love to go back and dine more there.

Two story diner/pub. I was there for a large gathering in the 2nd floor. Classic decoration nice vibe. Variety of drinks and food catering for all tastes/preferences. Staff was super friendly and responsive. We had the entire floor for ourselves. Food was superb. Recommend the prawns for starters and fish for main.

A must-go whilst in Melbourne. A cozy, upstairs restaurant just a jump away from the Meriton Suites on King St. We indulged in a variety of mouth-watering foods. Crispy, flaky pie pastry that melted in your mouth. Meatballs the size of tennis balls, drowned in a deliciously spiced tomato sauce. Salmon gravlax with a flavour explosion of coconut and spice. The only thing we weren't satisfied with was the mixed garden salad which, whilst good, lacked something to break up the acidity and tang of the dressing. Customer service was brilliant, attentive and efficient hosts.

We went to Saint & Rogue as the first stop for an after work pub crawl and we never left! They have a lovely Sangiovese by the glass, and my rather picky mate was quite happy with the beer selection on tap. It was lively but not crowded nor loud, perfect for chilling and chatting. The service was super friendly too. We ended up having dinner, the chips were great and my main (the linguini) was also good quality!

I went alone for lunch. The place was nicely decorated, classic but stylish, with a good selection of drinks and wines. While the food is nothing extraordinary, it's decent. The best part is the service; the waitresses are very attentive, super friendly, and strive to make sure you have a great experience at the place.

Stumbled upon this place for dinner for our family of 4 and had their Monday night steak night for $25. It was absolutely delicious! Steak was cooked perfectly and tender. Served with a red wine jus with chips and salad (all included).To top it off, the service was attentive and exceptional! We will return!

Superb couple of hours last night with 6 of us having great food and drinks with amazing service from Anita. I don't normally write reviews - but we loved this for our final night in Melbourne.

It's a nice place to go for drinks after work. It's more of a work function eish venue. The staff are friendly. Make sure you have that corporate card handy as it's on the pricey side... otherwise it's located just minutes from the southern cross station, 1 min walk from the notorious King Street if you dare take the party another notch.

Great location. Fascinating history and really interesting architecture. Decor is charming. End of year lunch with work group, we selected from the bar snacks menu (not the upstairs dining room). Do not be daunted by smallish range of choices, every dish met with rave reviews (except for tiny serve of mushy peas with the fish and chips). My Spiced Pumpkin Salad was delicious. Only disappointment was no low fat milk option for my latte meant a $1 surcharge for oatmilk so $6 for a coffee is a bit steep IMO.

Nice bar on Collins Lane and the Spencer St end. It did get a bit noisy as it became more packed but they are able to pour a pretty good Guinness.

Great little stop for after work drinks, or on the way to Marvel Stadium or Southern Cross Station. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly, welcoming staff. Upstairs dining area is beautiful. The whole vibe of the place is great - reminds me of an old library or something. Food is delicious, too.

I really like this place. Classic little upmarket pub. The wine list was nice but I didn't try the food. The beer list needs work (lacklustre). Personally I think the courtyard out the back could do with a make over - it was a bit aged and wasn't a fan of the smoking area. But I will definitely be back.

Unbelievably the staff of the Holiday In across the street had nothing to say about this place. If you're staying there don't let that fool you. We came in late for dinner around 9pm, were warmly welcomed and had one off the best quality dinners we've had in Australia. Original menu with great ingredients. Thank you!

We held our work Christmas party upstairs. Lovely space with it's own bar and a great 'feel'. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

The staff was super friendly and the beer garden is cozy. It is a good place to enjoy a couple of beers before getting on the train.

A lovely little restaurant, situated on the second floor. Lovely ambience and great food at decent prices. We were grateful we found this restaurant given there is not a great deal around, near Southern Cross.

The waitress was fabulous. A great start with an old English atmosphere and dim lighting that could be romantic in the booths. Menu was sparse. No salads on offer and what we selected was pricey. However the meals were well prepared and tasty. Found the seats really hard after sitting for an hour. We liked it.

We recently had a work function here. We were extremely happy with everything, food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend this venue and we will certainly return there. Thank you Saint & Rogue.

I booked a spot at the beer garden last week for some casual after work drinks. I sent through an email and Alex quickly got back to me with options and instructions for how to make a booking. Cute pub. Just a quick stop and sip with a girlfriend. We ordered a bottle of sparkling and three share plates. Not terrible is how I would describe it (sorry!) I'd go back for the incredibly lovely customer service alone. We had some form of interaction with four different staff members and all were full of smiles, very friendly and thoughtful. Thank you.

I ate here for lunch on a Wednesday whilst visiting from Brisbane after discovering it on Instagram. The venue itself is exceptional, very comforting yet classy and the staff were very welcoming. I ordered the Schnitzel and my friend ordered the Pie - both meals were great value and cooked to perfection. The wine offerings looked great - and local as well. I've made a mental note to visit again when I'm back in Melbourne!

Way over priced for the value and quality of food. Below basic pub quality meals at best yet charged as if a high quality restaurant. Had lunch - the Waldorf salad was extremely basic and untasty, fries soft and greasy and pork belly dish ($45!) was a $2 bit of pork and micro salad that didn't even bother making sure the rind was crispy. Management frosty when we advised of our feedback (after we were asked at the till on such!!) and then when we said we wouldn't be back - once again, after we were asked as much. We were Friday lunch upstairs. Not many there and no atmosphere. Windows were dirty so couldn't even look outside and enjoy the view. Would let all this slide if we didn't pay $200 for the two of us ($65 bottle of wine). A $100 for 2 restaurant at best.

Everything you expect in an upmarket pub. Its been around for a long time and I believe its because its focused on quality at all levels. The decor is wood panelled in dark shades just like a pub from the early 20th Century, but also with spit and polish applied to the mirrors and railings.

Good city pub while it was open before the second serving of Rona. Friendly and conscientious staff, good drinks on the bars and decent food. Will be back again when they open up for sure.

Great pub for a bite to eat. We've only eaten upstairs and every time the service has been spot on and the food cooked perfectly. The wait staff are attentive and anticipate your needs without hovering. We have eaten here on numerous occasions as a couple and also in a large group. The service and food is consistently of a high quality. The decor is lovely too. One of our top go to 'date night' venues. Highly recommend the upstairs dining for any occasion from a romantic meal to group celebration.
