This place is unreal!! My fiance wanted me to pick out my ring with him as I am picky about what I like. I didn't know what I wanted, I just wanted something 'different'. We wandered into Kalfin's after being to several other stores with a vague idea about a design we both liked. Yasmin was so welcoming from the moment we walked in and Anthony was beyond patient trying to figure out how to make my ring. Everything I wanted, even when it was the most complicated option, he went above and beyond to make sure I had the ring of my dreams. The result was beyond amazing!! Even though I knew what the ring would look like, when my fiance got down on one knee with the ring, I was blown away again by the beauty and elegance of the ring he created. I get compliments all the time about how beautiful and different it is! He also made our wedding bands to match and I still can't believe I get to wear rings this amazing! They also managed to give me a price that was almost $5,000 cheaper than the next lowest price we could find with a much better diamond!. Where do I begin.... After I decided to take the plunge and propose to my now fiance, I firstly needed a jeweller to help design and make the engagement ring I was wanting to propose with. After reading many great reviews for Kalfin Jewellery, I made the call and arranged a time to meet Anthony. After our first meeting, I knew he was the jeweller I would use. He was great to deal with and spent heaps of time with me on several occasions, helping to design and create the ideal engagement ring for my partner. The quality of his diamonds and workmanship was clearly proven to me the day I went to pick up the ring. It was amazing and as promised, he was able to make it by my short deadline. When I proposed, my fiance was blown away with the ring. The ring looked awesome and the diamonds sparkled like crazy! She constantly gets compliments on her ring, multiple times a week from friends and even strangers. Even another jeweller saw her ring recently and was extremely impressed by the quality of her ring, asking which jeweller I got the ring from. After purchasing a $25,000 engagement ring (amazing piece, no concerns with the ring at all) it had developed a slight bend due to wear and tear which we had arranged to get looked at on Monday morning, as well as look at wedding bands at the same time. We stayed in Melbourne the night prior to avoid the 2 hour trip in the morning (we're from Regional Vic) as we have a young child, arriving at the store at 9:15am and couldn't access the premises (trading hours say 9am opening time) so called Anthony who said he was 15 minutes away. It got to 9:45am, 30 minutes later, and our child was getting restless, as were we given opening time was supposed to be 9am, so we ended up leaving. We were then called at 9:50am saying they had arrived if we wanted to come in, and were told Anthony usually arrives around 9 - 9:30am. Perhaps a change in trading hours is advisable as I would have been even more displeased if we'd travelled the 2 hours to have to wait 50 minutes past advertised opening time.

Anthony and Yasmin provided me an all-round great experience: super-friendly service, very helpful, timely turn around, and an absolutely beautiful product. As with most men buying a diamond ring, I had very little idea about jewellery and diamonds. Anthony was friendly and informative explaining everything, and he was able to integrate my thoughts into his design with great patience and grace. Killer sense of humour too!
