Very good at the sales experience. But despite the promised lifetime service support (e.g. re-applying the brushed finish to an area after it has gone smooth with time, cleanings, repairs etc.) - in practise they immediately clamped down to 'will only service if a fault is noted shortly after sale according to our statutory obligations' when we actually enquired about re-setting the stones in a poorly made ring, where most have fallen out. They talk the talk, but they don't walk the walk when it comes to service. EDIT - management reached out and admitted their initial response was very poorly handled and 'indicated an avoidance of responsibility'. They were of course a lot more reasonable & welcoming at that point, but they still couldn't quite actually bring themselves to simply offer to repair the poorly made ring, even after their admitted initially poor response. You would think after acknowledging the problem, they might see fit to offer a concrete solution to make up for that, but apparently not. We decided we'd spent enough time on this and went instead to a friendly local jeweller (Valoren in Ascot Vale) - who made the simple repairs for the grand sum of...$15.

From our first experience in their Geelong store to now dealing with Andrew and the team in Melbourne, my partner and I couldn't be happier with Charles Rose Jewellers. They have made the process of designing and choosing the right rings for both of us such a pleasure. So professional, kind and generous with their time and ideas.
