We were so lucky to stumble across MDT as our first shop for an engagement ring. No other store came close to them in professionalism and custom craftsmanship. Kosta and the team are warm, attentive and so knowledgable. Kosta really went above and beyond when designing my engagement ring to make sure it had the wow factor we were looking for. This place is simply amazing. I got a gold plated bracelet from a local shop and it broke only a week after wearing it. Had a custom ring of my own design made here after seeing all of the positive reviews. They did not disappoint! I was so impressed that Nick was able to modify an old ring of similar design during the consultation to prototype my design and make sure that we knew exactly what we would get. Nick & Cecilia gave us the confidence and trust to leave a very precious heirloom stone with them to remodel into this ring. Subsequently brought the ring back to fix up a minor issue that I only noticed after bringing it home. This was done free of charge and within 2 days. Very happy with the overall result. I have commissioned multiple pieces from MDT design over the years. Their expertise, quality of diamonds and workmanship is exceptional. If you don’t happen to want any of the pre-made pieces (which are exquisite) the team will work with you to custom create your own dream design. They listen to exactly what you want and whilst they will most definitely make recommendations and share ideas, they have never tried to push me away from my personal vision, they just enhance it. MDT design has been my favourite jewellery store in Melbourne for many years now. They make stunning hand made pieces & have won lots of awards for their work. I had my tension set engagement ring designed & made here about a decade ago, recently had it re-sized & cleaned & it looks amazing, the design hasn't dated in the least. MTD are true masters when it comes to tension set designs, I haven't seen any other jewellers that use that particular design technique. More recently I dropped in a couple of vintage/antique rings to be restored & re-sized, had a consult with Kosta who is lovely... friendly, knowledgeable & professional, what more can you ask for. From the moment I sent an inquiry email to the team at MDTdesign I knew I was in good hands. Kosta was quick to reply and was so kind and patient as I am a jewelry novice. I bought the ring, married the girl and all was great for 12 years until our work separated us (Singapore/Australia) after a few years we divorced.
