I am more than happy with my experience with Diamond Story. Paul's customer service and care was amazing. I was gifted a Claddagh ring that once belonged to my great great aunt. But it was too large of a size. I sent an email to Paul at Diamond Story and his reply was swift! My ring needed to be resized from a size S&1/2 to a size N. Overall a very good experience with Paul from Diamond Story when it came to finding the perfect diamond for my fiance. Paul was quick to respond to any questions and gave me plenty of options to suit my needs. Once the diamond landed in Australia, it took a couple weeks for the jeweller to custom make the engagement ring. The ring did end up being 1 and a half size too big, which wasn't a big deal as it was free to resize and only took a couple days. A year has passed and I have come back to Paul to get a matching wedding band made up. Very happy with the result and very highly recommended.

After finding it near impossible to get a retail jeweller to make me a custom ring, I was referred to Paul by a friend who also had a fantastic experience. He was very friendly and helpful with a custom design and sourcing the right gems. He was very knowledgeable about what would work well as well as very fair pricing. On top of all that the turnaround time was exactly what he predicted and despite current issues with logistics we got our ring well before deadline!

Paul is terrific. Knows the field, and gives an honest opinion, which is very hard to come by in the rock industry. He delivered the rings to my doorstep personally due to unforeseen circumstances. I’d give him 6/5 stars if I could.

We'd already been to a number of jewellers and everyone gave us the same story "we can match the engagement band, we'd have to send it away to get you an exact cost". At our appointment with Paul, be measured the band and diamond's on the spot and gave us our cost up front. After agreeing to go ahead, we dropped off the engagement ring. Less than 2 weeks later we had our wedding band ready to pick up and it was exactly what we asked for. Paul had great customer service and we were really happy dealing with him. We recently purchased a replacement engagement ring for my wife. As she was unable to find the style she had in mind we decided to have it made. We did do a fair amount of research and of course browsed the Net, read many reviews and ended up with a short list. One of the manufactures on our list was Diamond Story based in Melbourne CBD. We arranged a meeting with Mr. Paul Chung at his office. We had a pretty fair idea of what we were seeking in style, size, and quality and were armed with pictures of designs that were close to my wife’s choice. Paul was excellent in listening to our design ideas and offered helpful alternatives for us to consider. He showed us several stones that were at our target price but with variations in the colour, clarity, cut, size etc. We also requested a small channel setting on the shoulder section of the band to which he suggested useful alternatives we hadn’t considered. It was a relaxed friendly atmosphere where our requirement were key to Paul and in around 30 minutes we had the ring, design and GIA certified diamond decided on at a very reasonable price. Paul kept us up to date on the process and sent us magnified pictures of the stone when he received it shortly thereafter he advised us our ring was ready for collection. When we arrived to pick it up we were both so happy with the result, it was even more stunning than what were expecting. A very pleasant experience for us and we can happily recommend Paul and Diamond Story to any future purchasers of jewelry. RobNBeth

Just wanted to commend Paul highly on his expertise and professionalism. My consultation in finding a diamond and setting with him was very easy and quite enjoyable. As someone with no prior knowledge in buying diamonds I was able to understand very easily in his explanation of what makes a quality diamond. To add to this, the service and speed in arranging my request was well above my expectations and from placing an order to having the diamond ring in my possession was no more than 2.5 weeks to my surprise. Your mileage may vary of course depending on your designs etc but even with my specific requests he was able to meet them. I would highly recommend and consider Diamond Story for all first time and ongoing diamond customers in the market. Thank you once again Paul for all that you have done.

Paul was by far the best options after looking around. Went to a few places to get quotes for a ring. Paul was very knowledgeable, quick to reply, made as many adjustments as you want and looked for a fair prices diamond to suit your budget.
