I did Will's October free walking weekend. Only the Saturday when Dean was leading. Dean is a great walk leader, professional and full of interesting information about the places we were walking. Great walk, great company - lots of people who had already done courses or holidays with Will, and who like to come back time and again. That says something! Thank you for the free walking, Will.

I had an amazing weekend in the Lake District with Will, Adam and Dean. We were all fear of heights graduates and they planned a brilliant follow up itinerary around our abilities, with many options to do more or less based on how we felt. We all managed to do a range of scrambles during the weekend, which wouldn’t have been possible before the course. Thank you so much!

We worked with Will4Adventure on our city-wide event, the Big Walk 2022. This is the 5th time we've worked together on this event - creating a route plan, putting together marshal plans, providing health and safety briefings, marshal and first aid support on the day, as well as much much more. Will4Adventure provide a professional, knowledgeable, personal and safe service. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to run a top-notch event.

Will ran a day-long intro to scrambling course in Snowdonia for me and a friend. We had a fantastic day out on a route that was tailored to our ability with lots of useful advice on technique, safety and equipment, and he even threw in a bit of navigation advice at the end. Highly recommended!

Attended an outdoor first aid course run by Will4Adventure at Awesome Walls in Sheffield. The best first aid course I've attended by a mile in terms of delivery and content covered. Will and his team's teaching style was enthusiastic, friendly and engaging. Easy to understand and follow with plenty of opportunities to engage. Their depth of knowledge and ability to relate to real life experience and events was extremely helpful. Plenty of scenarios to practice what you learnt with clear feedback and learning points after. I'd thoroughly recommend Will and his team to anyone looking to do a first aid course.

Myself and my partner booked onto an introduction to rock climbing course with Will, we have both been climbing indoors since last year but fancied giving it a go outdoors. Will was a great instructor, patient and clear with instruction and we both felt it was a great introduction to climbing outdoors. Thanks again Will!

My wife and I had the most phenomenal weekend with Adam from Will4Adventure. It’s the second time we’ve done this climbing course and we will definitely be back for more. For some context, I love the outdoors so was very stoked for this weekend whereas my wife had only climbed in bouldering gyms and was understandably nervous. It took some convincing and she agree to book the first one . Straight away, we bonded with Adam and we were both comfortably at ease with his style. The highlight for me was watching my wife gaining confidence as we both learned to be a climbing team. Supporting each other belaying, climbing on real rock, abseiling and starting to lead a couple bits. This would not have been possible without Adam and Will4Adventure. Stop reading this and book now :P

The day was exceptional and a memory we'll cherish. Huge props to Adam for going through everything we specifically asked for and explaining all the relevant safety procedures in a clear and engaging way (explaining why each step was needed, what would go wrong if it wasn't done correctly). We felt incredibly safe and learned some solid foundations! Already looking forward to booking the next session once we get some top rope/sport practice in.

You start with theory and then apply it in a practical fashion. I wouldn’t contemplate attempting leaping across this gap before this course but here is the evidence. I learnt a lot about positive thinking but also balance and how to notice your body when moving. I would recommend this course to build your confidence when outside your comfort zone at height

A great day with a friendly and experienced coach. Will delivered a well balanced day consisting of a detailed and confidence-building introduction to abseiling and a beginners course for mountain biking (including a bit of night-time riding!) with a friendly, accessible and approachable style that made the day very rewarding for four beginners who will definitely do more of both activity in the future. Thanks

Just completed the 2 day outdoor first aid course which I require as a Ski Club GB Rep. This is the second time I have competed this type of course (3 year renewal required by SCGB) so I can make a comparison and I would strongly recommend them. The small group of 12 people enabled experiences to be shared with each other which was very valuable. The training was very professional and excellent at reinforcing the basics of first aid whilst really stressing the most important first things to do as soon as you find an injured person. The scenarios covered most things you are likely to find in an outdoor environment and it has given me confidence to step in should I ever need to. I will be back in 3 years!

Booked a day of mountain biking, climbing and abseiling with Will, for my husbands birthday, and it was fantastic. From the great communication, Will’s friendly nature and knowledge and his great ability to encourage and enable us to do things out of our comfort zone, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our whole experience. Will was so helpful and flexible when our day didn’t start out as planned, and gave us a great day to remember.

I did the Fear of Heights weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Will and team are brilliant - supportive, reassuring, knowledgable and so much fun too. Will and the team’s love the the Peaks is infectious. I’ve done things I could never have imagined doing, and the weekend has left me wanting to challenge myself further. Truly one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

A fantastic experience. I booked this course having backed out of three consecutive height associated adventures. Not one for letting my fears stand in my way I recognised I needed some outside help to get me last what was rapidly taking over my joy. The weekend was packed with experience with genuinely lovely people who always had my back. Not once did I feel pressured or coerced into doing anything. I highly recommend this course to anyone who has found a fear of heights standing in the way of them enjoying their life to the fullness they want to. For me, let the adventures continue - with a smile on my face!

Excellent circular walk around Eyam, lead by Dean. Views, beautiful countryside, anecdotes and good company: What else could you want?

I've just completed the Outdoor First Aid course. I feel more confident now than ever (I've done at least 4 other first aid courses). Will teaches things in a way that you will remember during an emergency, and he focuses in the things you will come across in the outdoor environment. I find this course with Will very useful

I have just been on Will's Overcoming Fear of Heights weekend. What a great course ! I can't believe what I achieved after years of being afraid. There is no pressure and excellent, encouraging and supportive trainers lead you through the process of overcoming fear. I nearly cancelled the course before I got there because I was so nervous anticipating what was to come. I am so glad I didn't !! Thank you again Will, Stu and Brian and the rest of the course attendees for being so supportive and fun.

Completed the Outdoor First Aid qualification with Will recently and can thoroughly recommend him. His own extensive practical experience of the outdoors and first aid shines through and adds legitimacy. The course is very hands on practical in nature, you will also need good acting skills!

Just attended the two day Fear of Heights course which comprised a morning of NLP followed by a day and a half of graded outdoors activities. The combination was just right. Bryan, Will and Hayden clearly knew their stuff and were patient, encouraging and supportive throughout. Everyone on the course achieved far more than they’d expected beforehand. The activities all felt safe and above all it was fun. The small group format was perfect, we were all there for the same reason and supported and encouraged each other. I left with a smile on my face and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you guys!

Thank you so much Will4Adventure!!! Excellent and highly recommended three-day scrambling course in North Wales with Simon Brocklebank and Adam Clarke. Got a lot out of it. Was very grateful for all the coaching and patience of the instructors (and helpful follow-up information). Far exceeded what I had hoped for. Keen to do more and feel much more prepared for future trips. Thanks again, Naomi.

Completed a level 6 Outdoor First Aid Course led by Will. Will made the course extremely engaging throughout with lots of hands-on practical learning which helped me actually put into practice what he was teaching. I feel far more confident to administer first aid should it be required and this will be extremely useful when I go on to lead mountain bike sessions for our youth groups. Let me know if you're ever up for a ride in Leeds, or if you have time for something in the Peak district! If not, I look forward to revisiting this course in 3 years time!

I attended Will4Adventure's Outdoor First Aid course in the Peak District earlier this month. Will was a fantastic teacher and made excellent use of scenarios to reinforce learning; encouraging attendees to think about possible first aid situations in a dynamic, realistic way. Powerpoint presentations were limited to use only where absolutely necessary, and feedback was always thoughtful and encouraging, making participants grow rapidly in confidence over the course of the 2 days. Most attendees did this course as a prerequisite to other Outdoor instruction qualifications, but this is not a necessity. I attended as someone who spends a lot of time in the outdoors and wants to feel better equipped to handle scenarios if and when I encounter them. I definitely achieved this aim, and would recommend Will's Outdoor First Aid course to anyone who enjoys activities in more remote settings.

I did my OFA Course with Will and really enjoyed it! We did as much outdoors as we could, keeping it interactive and engaging. I really appreciated the links to his real life experiences as I'm training to do my ML so was very relevant.

I've previously been on a first-aid course with another provider, 3 years ago. Will's 16 hour outdoor first aid course is excellent!! I had a brilliant couple of days. Will delivered a professional, fun and detailed course. I really enjoyed it. I left with a greater knowledge of first-aid and feel a far more confident first aider. Highly recommended.

We had a brilliant family day rock climbing with Will. He took us to a great spot with lovely views and we enjoyed some challenging climbs that we otherwise wouldn't have attempted. He was a very knowledgeable instructor and great with our son. His four pawed assistant Monty deserves a special mention for providing extra entertainment! Would happily recommend.

Recently attended a fantastic Outdoor First Aid course with Will in the Peak District. A very practical course with lots of open discussion with group members of varying experiences and professions. Highly recommended!

Recently attended a full weekend mountain first aid course with other members of my climbing club. It was a full 2 day course and pretty intense but absolutely brilliant. Our trainer, Liz was very knowledgeable and professional and the time flew by. By the end of the weekend, I felt so much more confident and better equipped to manage a whole array of medical emergencies both on and off the mountains. Thank you!

I was on the Fear of Heights weekend course last weekend, and it was a really fantastic experience. I would say that if you're thinking about doing it, definitely go for it! You'll be amazed at what you end up doing, and how not scared you feel while doing it. There will definitely be some moments that get your heart pumping (otherwise what would be the point?), but Adam and Haydn (the instructors) were masters at calming you down and helping you through all the exercises. And, there's zero pressure to do things that you don't want to do. The small group environment is very supportive, and you feel like you get to know everyone really well, and you want each other to succeed. The classroom section of the course was very effective (although you won't believe it until you get outside), and Brian (the instructor) was very good and very friendly. Overall, it was super professional, very high quality, good fun and, most importantly, it works! I feel like I've made huge progress to get over this thing I've been living with for years, and I'm keen to do more courses with them in the future. So, go for it!

Just completed a 16 hour Outdoor First Aid course with Will4adventure at their Camberley location. The course was run by Lizzy, who was excellent. I have undertaken 3 previous courses - this was the first with Will4adventure and was by far the best. Everything was relevant, Lizzy kept the course interesting and the scenarios made great practice. I highly recommend and will definitely return when my renewal is due.

I have just completed my second adventure with Will4Adventure and I am still buzzing! I honestly can't recommend this experience enough - I have gained so much confidence to tackle heights and this has opened up a whole new world to me! Thank you to all of our guides for being so kind, encouraging and knowledgeable - you have created a very special and unique experience. If anyone is undecided as to whether or not to book onto a course, my advice is 'just do it'! :)

Will ran a outdoor adventure party for my daughter's 9th birthday and her 6 friends. He was absolutely brilliant with them all, funny, relaxed but made sure everyone was safe at all times (abseiling adventures) and they all felt included. I can't recommend Will enough. The girls are all talking about the party at school- they had a wonderful day. A definite re-book and hopefully other adventures too.

I was lucky enough to be on the ‘Overcome Your Fear of Heights’ course last weekend in the Peak District with Will, Stu and Brian, and it was a truly amazing experience! The weekend was professionally run, really good fun and most importantly effective! I have suffered with a fear of heights (and particularly massive bridges) for the last 20 years but only 3 days after the course, I am now driving confidently over the Kessock Bridge in Inverness (a big bridge!) and looking forward to many other amazing adventures without a crippling fear hanging over me and spoiling so many days out! I recommend this course to anyone who is fearful and is letting a fear of heights stand in the way of living life. You will be amazed at what you end up doing in just two days! I admit that I thought about backing out several times before showing up on the Saturday morning as I was so unsure as to what my expectations should be. I’m SO glad I didn’t back out, as this has changed my life for the better. The classroom session with Brian was sensitively run and although a bit baffling at the time, worked incredibly well. I would love to share the secret of how effective this session is, but I have no idea how it works…it just does! The outdoor sessions for the rest of the weekend were fantastic! Will and Stu were incredibly supportive, understanding and encouraging without forcing or coercing you to do anything uncomfortable. They simply encourage you towards success and then congratulate you when you achieve it! Their inspiring insights, reassuring words and manner spur you into trying things you would never have believed possible, in fact by day two I was at the front of the line for every activity! Yes me!!! Thanks to Will and the team, I have already made incredible progress and intend to continue pushing the boundaries with my newly discovered confidence. If you are thinking about doing this course, then don’t hesitate, go for it and you will never look back! Thanks to Will, Stu and Brian. I’m already looking forward to the next adventure with you guys!

'm just back from attending the 'Overcoming your fear of heights' course in the Peak District and would highly recommend it. Having spent much of my lifetime in the mountains with no issues, in recent years a fear of heights and falling was really stopping me from doing the things I love. This course had been recommended to me by a friend who had had great success with it, so I thought why not give it a go? I am so glad I did! The whole two days were excellent. The 'theory' morning with Alison, exploring my thoughts as to where my fear might have come from was excellent and really got me thinking. After just a couple of hours I had some practical ideas to try out that might help. Moving straight onto the practical activities for the rest of the weekend worked so well. Despite a background of moving on rock, I was anxious as to what we might be asked to do but Adam and Angie made me feel at ease right from the start. They both had a real insight into where each of us was starting from and were skilful in giving us each enough challenge without overwhelming us. Their knowledge and expertise was second to none and made everyone feel secure and confident in the tasks. By the end of the weekend I felt that I had got part of my real self back. I felt more confident, less fearful, and armed with enough knowledge and insight to help myself keep improving. In the 48 hours since since the course finished I've been and stood on some rocks with a sheer drop below, something I've not been able to do for a long time, and had a short session at the climbing wall in which I didn't shake at all! Thanks Will and team for an outstanding weekend. This is one that really does impact in a life-changing way!

I managed to go on ‘Overcoming Fear of Heights’ due to my fear and being nervous at heights, On day 1, I woke up and was still in two minds whether to go or not, But I pushed my self to drive the 82miles to the destination, where we were in a classroom learning new techniques off how to overcome the fear, (very interesting). In the afternoon we started to put into action what we had just learned in the classroom, by learning how to (abseil). Humm, I thought but yes, I will anticipate, (as I had never done this before), It was so simple to use the equipment, But I was still very nervous when I stood on the edge off a drop. But with the professionally of the team, I managed to complete part 1 and 2 off this challenge, (and my confidence grew). Then when it came to the final challenge the big one, I lost my bottle, they never put me under any pressure just talked to me and tried to encourage me to do it, but unfortunately my mine was made up not to do it. (Very silly) I then thought should I stop the night and find a hotel or go home and quit as I failed the last challenge, (I decided to go home). On the way home I looked back on the day I had just had and then realised what I had achieved, Yes I learnt how to Abseil and stand on the edge off a drop. (Never been able to do this before). So, in the morning I drove back up for day 2, (still feeling nervous as what was a head, but not ready to quit as that is what I had paid for). Which is when I found out we was going to do some rock climbing (Interesting) The techniques we were shown, was very interesting and I was amazed what can be accomplished, (highly recommended). With all the little challenges done, I was ready for the big climb down and then back up (still nervous). But when I got to the top of the climb the feeling was amazing and (overwhelming at what I had just accomplished) I would highly recommend this course, as they get you to go out of your comforted zone but if you are not happy, they do not push you. (Well worth the experience). Thank you very much for the experience, I highly recommend this course, Well worth the money. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND GO FOR IT.

I took the 16hr Outdoor First Aid course which was led by Hannes and it was excellent. Informative, practical and lots of opportunity for repetition and questions. Hannes is a great teacher and ensured that everyone was involved and having a go. He's extremely knowledgeable, and balanced teacher-led presentation of information with discussion and practical exercises really well. The course is hands on with lots of practical scenarios to give you an opportunity to put into practice what you've learnt. And I learnt a lot. Highly recommend this course, and I'll be back in 3 years. Living in the south east, attending a course in Camberley also made this an accessible option.
