I went into the post office today to collect a parcel, I was served by a middle aged blonde lady with bad attitude and a miserable face. She had terrible customer service, and definitely shouldn’t be working with the public! I seriously think the post office should take some notice of their reviews, as by the look of things they could do with some new staff.

Blonde lady there should NOT be working at the post office. Incredibly rude and unhelpful. Someone below hit the nail on the head, makes you feel like she’s doing you a favour. No idea how she is still working there! Avoid like the plague.

This post office has to be the most fraud one out there! On 3 separate occasions I have been quoted for a parcel and walked away thinking it’s way too much and then posted the same parcel from town and it’s been third of the price that have been quoted at Oadby Parade post office! Even today they quoted me £3.00 for a small parcel, 2nd class and I thought that’s way to much. Since I have trust issues with their prices, went to Rosemead drive post office down the road and the guy said 0.84p! I reconfirmed if he’s got the price right and he said yes, he pushed the package through the slot/size checker and said my parcel is 34g, that’s what I’ll have to pay! Glad to hear their are honest people out there! Day light robbery the parade post office! Not to mention both the Indian ladies are always, repeat always miserable and unhelpful! Post office to be avoided at any cost!!

Just been this morning to post a letter. Unfortunately I had to be served by the Indian lady. I wanted to avoid her as she is the most miserable, rude unhelpful 'customer service rep' ever. I just got an item posted from a different post office that she was trying to charge more for. I will not be going to this post office again, because the bottom line is this lady clearly does not want to be there, and let's you know it through her poor attitude.

The Indian ladies here are embarrassing!! Extremely rude. Perhaps should work elsewhere! Also, they seem to think they own the Post Office. Wouldn’t hurt to crack a smile and be polite! Sack them! Feel sorry for anyone coping with their miserable faces and bad attitudes. This review seems harsh however i’ve given them the benefit of the doubt on PLENTY of occasions and tried to remain kind to them for way too long!!

Shocking service been there few times this week and the same ole moody ladies! Wow if they smiled it would be dangerous does not take any effort at all. If you don't want to dobtge job then give it to someone else who does and likes it! I use the post box now as it smiles at me with its big grin.

Absolute shocking service! Fire this new staff!! The old staff was amazing The Indian woman was complaining about how straight the notes were and asked me to get straighter notes next time. Despite them being normal circulating notes with no damage, she seems insane. What the absolute heck is wrong with this staff , whoever owns this needs to fire the staff. Myself and my friends now drive an extra mile into wigston just to avoid this post office. Staff are rude, they rip you off, dont help and sometimes don't even give you basic tracking you require. I never write negative reviews but all I wanted to do was buy a few postage stamps.

I’m glad I’m not the only one, the post office lady was unhelpful and rude she provided no guidance or help. My parcel was going to Singapore and having sent parcels previously from different post office their staff have been helpful in filling in the form. The women who serviced me didn’t smile what a miserable women won’t be going back there again. Given one star as I had no choice. PS: I don’t often do reviews!!

Not at all helpful or friendly. Today they had a cover who was even worse. There’s one timid lady who is very sweet but the main one and the cover are just awful. I came away in tears the I was spoken to.

Absolutely shocking service from a Royal Mail representative. Absolutely zero communication or people skills - I was told to be quiet whilst trying to engage in basic polite conversation with a lady handling my documents and this was just the tip of the iceberg. I will be escalating a case to the customer resolution team to investigate, hopefully training will be provided to deter future incidents and reduce complaints/ bad feedback. One main attribute in business, is customer retention and this particular branch is most certainly oblivious to this factor. I will deter my friends and family from visiting this post office. I am very well in tune with my local community, so I will be posting bad feedback on other platforms. Avoid at all costs.

The Post Office site says this place is open until 6pm, on arrival I was told it's 5:30. More than a little frustrating when you've walked half a mile with a 12kg parcel. And I was met with an attitude of "it's not my job/problem" from the staff

The staff who work there need firing, and replaced by people who actually want a job in customer service. Rude, nasty, unhelpful. Said they 'don't do RM tracked 24.' I paid after online for £3.30, all they had to do was tell me to show the QR code; instead they were trying to overcharge me. States everywhere they close at 6, but it's 5.30. Told another customer to leave the line, not even 5.29. Blonde larger lady in particular speaks to customers as if they are something on her shoe. Just leave if you despise people and your job that much! So unprofessional and clueless. Will escalate to Head Office, and use my friendly Queens Road branch in future.

Awful service! Tanni who served me was incredibly rude, too lazy to get off her chair to get my parcel and said to come back as it’s not arrived when I could see it right there, eventually the man got it for me, she needs to be fired.

Wow all the negative comments and poor reviews don’t surprise me one bit about this place. I won’t lay into them but suffice to say, the staff are the grumpiest bunch I’ve seen and I am grateful that there are other choices nearby. When this business eventually folds, they will only have themselves to blame.

Absolutely shocking service at the Post Office on the Parade in Oadby. The Indian lady who served me had not one courteous bone in her body. I have never met anyone so rude.Her complete lack of pleasantries was shocking. She was stone face cold and I almost felt as though she was forced to work there. I heard no please or thank you, it was simply have u got a tracking number or ID. Her manager and the owner of the branch was completely accepting of her behaviour. The lack of customer skills is abhorrent and really needs to be addressed. I feel as though they hide behind a perspex barrier they feel it is ok to treat customers so rudely. I usually use Rosemead Drive Post Office and find the staff there are wonderful, always happy to help, polite, pleasant and smiling. I would stick to that branch in future AVOID OADBY PARADE POST OFFICE AT ALL COST

Post Office has registered services you can look online. This branch refuses services that they are registered to do. Staff are exceptionally rude, abrupt and unprofessional!!!

Worst post office branch ever!!! The Indian women are very rude without good knowledge to assist you. Always rude and chatty between them. Can’t believe they’re still there after so many years with such a bad reputation in our neighbourhood. There are an embarrassment!

The reason why I gave 1 star, becasue the system doesn't let me to give a massive Zero! The workers behavior are absolutely terrible! To be honest better to go to Wigston post office and dont let them to frustrate you because how they doing they job thats a bad joke! Next time I ll chose the Wigston post office or a different company for a small parcell, because the royalmail one of the most expensive sollution anyway!!

The worst customer service I have ever received staff may as well not be there that's how useful they are avoid and just go to rosemead post office around the corner.

Awful service from the 2 Asian ladies. Completely miserable. Refuse to take correctly bagged money from businesses.

Went here a few days ago and the manager was absolutely brilliant. If you're reading this sorry for the late review haha. The post office is well laid out and has a very welcoming atmosphere. It is one of those places where people will have a pleasant time but won't leave a review. You only do leave them when something bad happens which is rare but when people only leave reviews when that happened then the place seems far worse than it actually is. Don't be put off by reviews, this place is very good and staff very helpful. Definitely helped me out when I came a little after hours to post an envelope.

Great Post office and Premier expressshop. Open early, even on Sunday. Always using this place for Vehicle Tax, paying bills and other general post office stuff. The gentleman behind the counter is so helpful and friendly and very willing to help. It's highly recommended place to get post office things done. Will definitely continue to come back.

Tanny and Zaid are an absolute asset to this post office, fantastic service and very helpful. Thank you guys for dealing with all my parcels professionally and with care. See you soon

Lady there showed no pulse and not helpful in assisting me with sending a package. 2 stars because at least they accept my other packages

They never do their job properly 😒 🙄 😤 They prefer to chat to each other and always find difficulties to accept parcels or doing their job properly.... I wish I could give 0 🌟
