This is a nursery for all true gardeners, the owner and staff are incredibly knowledgeable and the range of plants are unusual and varied with a brilliant choice of specialist plants. The arboretum is fantastic to walk around and see what the plants and trees will look like after a few years of growth. There is a small fee of £5 for adults to enter the arboretum or you can pay £10 and go as many times as you like for 12 months. The nursery is free to go around and the staff will happily advise and help with any questions you might have.

Hidden Wonder. Bought several trees and other plants from here over several visits. The staff are always very friendly, helpful and super knowledgeable. Update: recently also walked around the gardens. Very beautiful and serene. Many trees and shrubs have informative descriptions. Lovely place just to go for a walk or sit and enjoy the scenery.

I highly recommend visiting this superb arboretum. Nine acres of thoughtfully set out trees, water features and grass pathways with a range of trees from around the world. Many of the trees were accompanied by blue information boards which appear to be bespoke. As a non tree expert these made the trip for me as I learned a great deal. The owner - Robert was in the process of cutting the grass and stopped for a fascinating chat filling us in on the history of the site. Considering it was farmland in 1992 they have worked miracles. The accompanying nursery is also exceptional and do check out the bargain bin! I defy anyone to not feel refreshed and peaceful after a visit.

Stunning arboretum, good setup, nice nursery, knowledgeable & passionate staff, fair price of £5 to go round the arboretum. Nursery plants are very expensive.

Stunning display of shrubs, trees and flowers with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the arboretum, to listen to the birds and watch the butterflies and bees darting around. A lovely peaceful place and you can buy some more unusual plants from the nursery if you wish.

Ordered online and was not disappointed,I was left a voicemail after I'd placed my order about the condition size and care, email with tracking etc and they arrived within a few days. Very well packaged and look very well cared for. Pricing was better than other places considering the ones we chose seemed difficult to find and nothing locally

Very pleased with the shrub ("Beauty Bush") I ordered online. It arrived on time, carefully packed and looking very healthy. Good value too. Will definitely be ordering again.

Beautiful 9 acre arboterum with specialist garden centre too. The guy running it knew everything about botany. £6 adults to go in to the arboterum. Info plaques on most trees and bushes. Peaceful and lovely. We'll worth a visit.

This is a hidden gem. The arboretum cost £5 to enter. It is bigger than it first appears. Although it isn't fully mature, it was very refreshing, and I would very much recommend it. It is quite near a main road, so there is traffic noise, but it was lovely to walk around. Somewhere you would bring your mum or gran.

A lovely ramble through this lovely arboretum. Some truly awesome specimens. A good little nursery too, the plants look well cared for and I was given some great advice for one of my own established trees that appears to be suffering ATM. All in all a great day out.

ordered a plant for my Dad, had a phone call from Jason to advise there are some of last years leaves on the plant that have yet to drop and not to worry. I said this was for my Dad and Jason said he can call with any questions and he will be looked after. How lovely to see some people can still deliver outstanding customer care. Thank you

An attractively laid out, relaxing, pleasantly shady woodland garden - full of interesting trees and shrubs from all over the world. Plants are well labelled and fascinating extra information is given for many of them. This is a garden for those who love plants in detail, rather than sheets of bright colour. The staff are friendly and helpful. Access with a wheelchair is OK if you can manage slightly uneven grass paths and the weather has been reasonably dry. Generous opening hours allow enjoyment of the garden free from crowds - then there is a well kept specialist tree and shrub nursery to explore.

I've ordered a tree to be planted at the wrong time. The nursery contacted me and advised on how to look after the tree and made sure I would be in for the delivery so the tree doesn't spent too long in transit. It arrived in great shape. Very impressed with their care. Their prices are good, too. Highly recommended.

Beautiful arboretum looking stunning in autumn colours. We spent a good 2-3 hours there wandering around and enjoying the trees / garden centre. There are loos but no cafe.. its basic but beautiful. There are some benches and we took a picnic. Just perfect! 😀♥️🌳🌲
