Mount Gurkha is a Nepalese and Indian Restaurant in Loughborough. There seems to be no parking on site. However we found parking close by. We had five people in our group and ordered the Sunday Evening Special Set Meal. They advertise it as a five course meal but I doubt it? The taste is nice and the portions are sizes are good.

Usually order food from here for delivery but decided to have food in the restaurant, glad I did, it was lovely. Food was perfect as always. Certainly my favorite Indian in the area. Naan bread is the best naan bread, I will always recommend this place over any others in and around Loughborough.

First Indian in a few years, staff are very accommodating, restaurant is kept clean and tidy. Food is very good. Keep going back 😁

Really lovely take away. We have not had a good curry in Loughborough in ages and risked it on this one as the reviews were so good. We were not disappointed 😃 yummy. Korma and peshwari naan and poppadoms were particularly lovely as well as the chef special chicken with mint and corriander! Oh and the chilli king prawns.

Lovely Indian restaurant right on Ashby Road. We came here as a large group (12) and were very impressed with the speed of the service considering so much was ordered all at once. Being a large group we tasted a good cross section of the menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their curries. I personally went for the chicken bhuna and it was lovely tangy tomato with a warming chilli heat throughout. The value for money was incredible and they offer 10% student discount which we were very grateful for, especially given the current economy. The only minor complaint was that the naan bread was rather thin and crispy rather than the more soft, bread-like texture one would expect. Overall the food was highly flavourful and we would certainly return.

Ate here last night for the first time. Exceptional food. Very authentic with lots of fresh flavours. There was 12 of us and all the food, including starters came out hot and at the same time. Very impressed indeed.

One of the best places in town for a good meal. The food is as good as the service, and discovering new flavors of new dishes is worth any price.

The food was very nice. I can’t fault the quality of the food but what I can fault is the price. £9 for poppadoms and pickle tray. £4.50 for chips. And what annoyed me the most is after a £60+ order and living one mile away up the road I still had to pay a £1.50 delivery charge! It will be the last time I order from here as it is considerably more expensive than equally as good Indian restaurants. It just isn’t worth it disappointing to say the least.

First time ordering from here tonight. Very friendly amd the food was superb! The best Indian we've had! Super tasty and cooked to perfection!

Great food and welcoming staff, a must-try for good gurka food in Loughborough

The food here is usually at a 5 star level but occasionally it drops to a 3. This is my favourite takeaway in Loughborough but I just wish it was a bit more consistent with the quality. The processing fee on top of the delivery fee is a bit over the top.

Food was very good. Good portions. Good variety of food available. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Definitely would recommend to this to anyone in the area.

Mount Gurkha is consistently a wonderful meal. We've eaten in and had delivery many times and are always very satisfied. Delivery times when you order from them directly are unbelievably quick, today my food arrived 20 minutes after ordering! We've had the same man deliver the last few times and he's always very friendly and polite, he even brings treats for our dog so the whole family enjoys when we order Mount Gurkha. Thank you for the great food and service!

Located on Ashby Road, Loughborough. A small restaurant serving Indian Nepalese cuisine. Good for an infrequent dinner with friends. If you're looking for a meal it does stand out though. A favorite of the students around town because they serve beer. I doubt they have reservations but it's better to get a table reserved. I wouldn't spend too much time there as it does tend to get crowded. I loved the spice and the aroma of the food served. Indian-style arches, with traditional lighting decorate the interiors. There isn't any parking around but you could find one on the streets nearby. A pleasant experience overall.

Always great food from here. The lamb lasuni is the dish to go for. Nice authentic and flavoursome. 👌🏾

One of the good option to dine in for Indian and Nepalese cuisine in Loughborough town. Widespread menu along with warm and courteous nature of staff will add to your dining experience.

Very delicious food! Worth the wait, following a mix up with delivery they were very kind in sorting out a re delivery!

I went to celebrate with my friend and it was amazing. We didn’t have to wait too long food to arrive on our table, Chilli fish and the Meat sizzler is must try. Service was on point and very polite staff We absolutely enjoyed the night and will be definitely coming back.
