My daughter and I were craving some Jamaican food and decided to try out this restaurant via UberEats (pickup) because it was almost closing time. I ordered Jerk Shrimp, festival, plantains (for my daughter) and a Ting. We arrived for pickup about 5 minutes before closing and the owner was super nice and communicative. He told me he was about to make my order and I reassured him it was fine and to take his time since I submitted my order so close to closing time. It only took about 10 minutes after arrival to receive our food. The restaurant is super clean and welcoming! The food was hot and fresh! Everything was extremely tasty! The festival was crispy on the outside but a tad dense on the inside, yet still yummy! Jerk shrimp was delicious and not overly spicy. The new owner was very accommodating, friendly and professional. He explained they are under new management and are in the process of getting the reputation of restaurant back up.I will be back again for sure. The service and food have earned them a loyal customer.

I happened to drive past D&L on my way home from work and decided to check it out. I’m definitely glad that I did. Dwight gave me excellent customer service! He was super personable and took care of me for sure. I ordered the jerk shrimp with cabbage and rice and peas. Food was flavorful and still hot by the time I got home. The shrimp were a nice size too, my guess is they were extra large or jumbo. The rice was fluffy and delicious as well. My only critique would be for the the cabbage which could use a touch more seasoning, but all in all, I certainly see myself becoming a regular. PS. Rum cake was bomb as well!

I’m always skeptical about trying new Jamaican spots . But I decided to give this one a try because of the good reviews! And I was not disappointed. The curry was well seasoned and the food was fresh . The cabbage could’ve been seasoned more but it’s still pretty good. I highly recommend this place .

I had a wonderful experiencing at D& L Caribbean Cuisine! I'd been skeptical about ordering Jamaican food there after going a months ago, sitting in my car in the parking lot and reading old reviews about this restaurant location (which were apparently reviews about the previous owners), and decided not to bother going in. This was my second time attempting to go, and I actually went inside this time! When I shared this with one of the owners, Dwight, he was super welcoming and assured me that I would be a regular after experiencing the food. He was right! He and the other staff provided excellent customer service, explained all of the food options and let me sample their homemade pepper sauce and fish soup! I ordered curry chicken patties (which were perfectly cooked), jerk chicken (with plantain, rice & peas and cabbage), and Rasta pasta. All were very tasty! I highly recommend this location for the food quality, diverse menu options and excellent customer service!

So I had a craving for some GOOD Jamaican food. I haven’t had the best experience but seen the reviews and said, why not. When my two year old says, mommy this good then yes! She was absolutely right. We enjoyed the food, was eating in the car and couldn’t even wait till we got home. Plus I didn’t live close by and we were hungry. Glad we decided to take the ride. Keep up the good work, service and cleanliness…..IT MATTERS😊😊

The staff and food is an Experience here! I stopped in on the way home on a wimb and it turned out to be the best decision I made. I love Caribbean food but have a sensitive stomach and the staff accommodated me with their variety of options. Ms. Francine is a real sweetheart and they have a family feel. I will be a loyal customer for years to come! ♥️

This is the most hidden gem by my house. When I say I never knew. I’m so glad I found them. True authentic quality Jamaican food. Excellent portions for your money. I had to call the store and tell them how delicious their food was. OMGGGG Get the oxtails and curry chicken. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was delicious! I had the Jerk Chicken and my friends the oxtail and veggies, all super good. The plantains were fresh and the service was great. The dine-in area is small, next time I would probably do take-out.

I got the chicken and beef patty. The chicken patty was so good and well seasoned. I ordered Curry shrimp with rice n peas with cabbage. I like my curry sauce thick like the sauce for the curry chicken. This sauce is buttery, thin and to light. It doesn't taste like curry just more like butter. So I'm disappointed about that. Rice and cabbage is good. I just wish the sauce was actually curry and thicker. Customer service is A1, never no problem for me.
