We've 3 different types of sandwichces, maggie, ice teas, cold coffee, strawberry shake, and a smoothie. The quantity they serve and also the taste was nice. I felt it was worth the money! I really liked their shredded beef sandwich.

The best open air cafe in Trivandrum with awesome wall decor and with lot of plants & fountain. There are many options of snacks and drinks. Good place for discussion and to spend time with your favourite book. Sarwaa concept store is attached along with the cafe so you can also experience ethnic handmade products shopping.

Cafe sarwaa is giving us one of the best ambience cafe experiences in Trivandrum city. Even though this cafe is made by converting the backside of a house, they managed to place the chairs and tables accordingly to increase the coziness of this place. I identified some pros and cons about this cafe. Pros : Great ambience Friendly staffs Food was good Able to do work when you go there with your laptop There is an arts and crafts shop with nice collections in that same property. Cons: Pricing is bit high Cafe will close at 7:30 pm

We loved the ambience of the place a lot. Located opposite All India Radio, near DPI Jn, this is a must visit Cafe in Trivandrum if you love good food and places with an old-ish vibe to it. We ordered Vegetable Cutlet and Kashmiri Kahwa Tea. Their cutlets were really tasty and well made, consisting of potatoes, green peas, onions and other vegetables mixed with the right amount of spices and masala for the perfect taste. One plate of Vegetable Cutlets has 3 well made, rounded cutlets which is enough for a good and wholesome snack for a person for teatime. The Kashmiri Kahwa Tea is a gem of a drink. A giant glass of the golden steaming liquid is a sight for sore eyes and parched throats. We don't know all the ingredients that go into it, but we are sure that it has saffron flowers or petals, cardamom and really strong tea in it. We loved the taste a lot. We will visit again soon. The only gripe is that the cafe closes by 7:30pm as it's completely run by women, who are so caring and friendly that it almost feels like home. Some might find the place a bit expensive, but remember that you also pay for the ambience along with amazingly tasty food. We felt that the prices were justified and on par with most other cafes.

Need to improve how to communicate with customer (Personal experience : not even giving attention to customers even when only few were present on that time. For 'service 0/10 Star⭐' ; 'Ambience 7/10') only small space for dine in crowded things but feels good in view and nice ambience around the dine in area ; 'Food 7/10'(not upto the mark for the price)

In a word if I were to describe this place, then it would be serene. It's a well kept secret of Trivandrum. Must visit place specially if you are looking for a revive. Also I got the berry mix Kombucha but I think the litchi flavour of Kombucha is much more tastier. The quandity of maggi is such that it's sufficient for two. You can also shop for handmade figurines and crafts. If you're hitting this spot in the summer, make sure you try the eisgola from eis by sarwaa which is located in front of this cute cafe.

Cute place with a nice ambience - you will definitely feel like coming again 😍. Both veg and chicken sandwiches were tasty, masala chai is always good(a bit watery though), momos and crepe was tasty. Overall had a nice experience.

Aura ( in a nutshell) The perfect blend of vintage aesthetics and warm atmosphere close to the nature with a traditional and ethnic touch. They do even have some puzzles, games, pretty good collection of books from diverse genre. The ethnic and handmade products available there was a treat to our eyes. Service Their service was pretty good. Infact the employees were pretty amiable and socially active with us. Most of the employees were ladies who were in their early 40's and 30's. Their warm hearted smiles and affectionate disposition surely infused a spirit inside us to visit the cafe again. Cuisine Well the cuisine was the only element which disappointed me a little bit. Overall the food wasn't quite impressive. It wasn't addictive and didn't quite suit my palatte. Eventhough the waffles they served was mouthwatering and delicious , the veg platter ( veg momo) I was served was a bit spicy and had less flavours. But the rest of the things were quite palatable. Had a great experience !! P.S Photo credits to Fiza Jasmine

Delightful cafe, with nice selections of beverages and food. The shredded beef sandwich was delicious, a bit like a superior Philadelphia cheese steak, but better. Great calm ambiance. Service was a bit slow, but this is a place to relax and converse.

Beautiful view, amazing vibe and above all the food is just yum! We never imgined to get super delicious momos here in Kerela and ofcourse the authentic kerela curry was the best here in Varkala. Bonus points to the owner for being kind and helpful 😊😊

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a cozy atmosphere. . First and foremost, the food was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew that I was in for a treat. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, each of which is prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. In addition to the excellent food, the ambience is also something to behold. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, comfortable seating that makes you feel right at home. The decor is stylish and modern, with subtle touches that give the space a unique character. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food is delicious, the ambience is cozy, and the service is excellent. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or loved ones, and I can't wait to go back again soon.

Wrote a passage on FB, sharing the same "Pretty sure a lot of people might have been here, but this is a place that I wanted to come by for a long time, today it worked out well, that after attending a wedding, I had to meet a client at #Srimulamclub, it was a quick meeting and after that decided to come here #cafesarwaa , they have parking on the street, as I walk in, not too crowded, I was expecting just a cafe, this place is wow factor, if you are in Trivandrum as tourist and back for holidays, definitely come here, or if you love to write, draw or even ponder the place to be. you will find so many souvenirs or figurines that you can buy, plus a beautiful laid back cafe, I have yet to explore the whole place, at the moment I have ordered Press coffee and wheat crepe with shredded coconut mixed with honey and cardamom garnished with almond bites, looking forward. Feel like spending my afternoon here. So peaceful and calm. #Thiruvananthapuram , #chillspot, oh I love their theme " Think outside the Trash", someone close to me always used to say the beauty about taking an unwanted thing into a wanted object,in her words("turn clay into gold") . I feel this place is such a wonder. Women empowered business. Enjoying the moments!!! "

Really love the peaceful ambience. You could spend your day relaxing over there listening to tunes and reading a book with a cup of tea. Although I wish they had more cosy furniture.

Been trying to dine in at Cafe Sarwaa for a long time and I finally could do that today ! The food was so fresh and delicious ! I am in love with the place, the ambience and the food obviously. And, most importantly, I am impressed by the fact that it is run by only women ! More power to them 💪🏽 Definitely coming back in my next visit to Trivandrum.

This place needs to be hidden from the map. This place is so good that it is better that less people know about this. The service is perfect, it is run by 6 women who all are very sweet.I tried a naruneendi lemon juice which was refreshing. Also the food is also nice.It is on the expensive side but if you enjoy good ambience and if you're a book lover , then it is a must visit place.

Absolutely loved everything about this place. This beautiful cafe was suggested by a lovely person i met at the book market at Palayam. Spent about three hours here reading their collection of books, relaxing in the serene atmosphere and eating absolutely healthy and tasty food. It's located adjacent to their beautiful antique shop. I had a good time checking out their nice collection.

The place is very calming and aesthetic. I went with my friend and had pancakes. I was not expecting it to be so good! Really the best pancakes I've had in a while with caramelized bananas and icecream and almonds on the side. The light breeze was so soothing. Would definitely recommend!

I give all my stars to the ambience of the place.. totally wrecks the game within a crazy 100 mile radius. Seriously quaint and welcoming; with the right company, you could get literally lost in your seats for hours on end. They also provide a pretty neat menu of drinks and snacks.. I'd say I liked the food but friends weren't too particular. Still a win in my books. I'd definitely recommend.

If you have been feeling a little too trapped inside your homes and would like to unwind and take a small break then look no further... Cafe Sarwaa offers you just that.. It's a small tranquil place which offers you great food. Wasn't too crowded when we reached but it started getting a little crowded by around 5pm. They also have a store in the front and the cafe is located behind it. The store had handicraft items and antiquities. We had their Nutella banana crepe and paneer & corn sandwich both of which were very tasty. We also tried their infusion pot, which was only so-so. Sitting infront of their fountain, we could hear the the steady burble of the flowing water and it felt relaxing.. Edit- Visited again but as there was a powercut just went to the store and found fridge magnets of Kerala, Kochi...Was trying to find Trivandrum specifically but couldn't. But they do have some good ones for those who want to buy some souvenirs. They also do have a lot of other stuff as well.

A quaint cafe located near the AIR station near vazhuthacaud. Its surprisingly quiet inside, being located so close to the road, but a must visit nonetheless. Please do try the kashmiri kahwa tea and the quesadillas if you plan on visiting.

Much aesthetic. Such positivity, albeit a little high on the cost spectrum it's someplace you would definitely recommend for its visual appeal and comfort. I've been a regular and I've never gotten tired of their waffles with icecream, to me it's just so good!

I've visited cafe Sarwaa a few times and tried a range of dishes – from pancakes and assorted iced teas to chicken popcorn, veg momos, filter coffee, and hot chocolate. While the service tends to be on the slower side, the wait is definitely worth it given the generous portions and top-notch quality they offer. If you swing by in the evenings or during peak hours, you should expect a bit of a crowd, but otherwise, it's a fantastic spot to unwind, chat, and kick back. The atmosphere is just delightful, with books, art everywhere, and lush greenery all around. The Sarwaa store nearby boasts a good collection of handmade souvenirs, I had a good time checking out their collection.

One of the best places in Thiruvananthapuram to relax and maybe read a bit listening to music and munching on their excellent collection of snacks and drinks. I ate their pancake with banana and honey. It was soo fluffy and infused with the honey taste, as well as very satisfying to eat. Then I had their press coffee with milk, because I was missing good coffee for a few days. It was also very tasty. 2nd best press coffee I had in Kerala. The service is awesome, they will tell you if there will be any delay. But I think it's okay for the food to be a bit delayed so that we can enjoy the ambience and chill a bit. It can get a bit crowded towards 6 pm. Only thing was that I found one of their seating a bit uncomfortable. The book collection is also very classy and plenty. Will definitely go there to try their teas, kombucha, maggi and other items and update here. Bon Appétit!

Awesome ambience. One of the perfect spots to relax and spend time with colleagues/friends/family. A little expensive, but worth the ambience and the customer service. Giving four stars instead of five because it was hot and sweaty on the lawn seats while the seats under the roof were well circulated with fans.

A very nice cafe. Seating is different and unique. It feels like being in a different tribe. The menu is simple and has the option of a variety of snacks like cutlet, momos etc. The shredded beef sandwich is the one which i liked the most. You can also get quesadillas. Seating capacity is minimal and during peak hours, it will be tough i guess. Even though I went on a Sunday, there were empty seats.

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Cafe Sarvaa with my wife recently, and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the inviting ambience, cozy seating, and the overall charm of the place. The first thing that caught our attention was the delightful library corner. As avid book lovers, we were thrilled to see a collection of books ranging from classic novels to contemporary bestsellers. It was a joy to browse through the shelves and find a book to enjoy while sipping on our favorite beverages. Speaking of beverages, Cafe Sarvaa offers an impressive selection of coffees, teas, and refreshing mojitos. The baristas are true artisans, crafting each drink with precision and care. Whether it was the rich and velvety cappuccinos or the invigorating mint mojitos, every sip was a treat for our taste buds. The menu at Cafe Sarvaa is equally impressive, with a variety of mouthwatering options to satisfy any craving. We couldn't resist trying their famous pancakes, and let me tell you, they were pure perfection. Fluffy, golden-brown pancakes served with a drizzle of maple syrup and a side of fresh fruits made for a delectable breakfast indulgence. What impressed us even more was the attention to detail and the impeccable service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. The ambiance of the cafe, combined with the warm and welcoming staff, created a truly inviting and enjoyable atmosphere. One aspect that stood out for us was the availability of free WiFi. It allowed us to catch up on work, browse the internet, and share our delightful experience with friends and family. The convenience of staying connected while enjoying the cozy ambiance of Cafe Sarvaa was truly appreciated. In conclusion, Cafe Sarvaa offers an exceptional experience for coffee enthusiasts, book lovers, and anyone seeking a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. From the charming decor to the delectable pancakes and the friendly staff, every aspect of our visit was delightful. We highly recommend Cafe Sarvaa to anyone looking for a memorable cafe experience filled with warmth, delicious treats, and a tranquil environment.

A good cafe located in Vazhuthacaud with traditional settings and many places to sit. It is good place to go alone or with friends and family. They have a decent variety of sandwiches, waffles, crepes, noodles and drinks. A great place to unwind after a long day. The prices are affordable too. So if you are in the area and just looking for a place to relax, just visit this place. They have a good shop of souvenirs next door and you can take home a good present.

CAFÉ SARWAA was a total surprise- an ethnic-themed café hushed within the neighbourhoods of vazhuthacaud. The rustic ambience they’ve shaped up is a real charmer amid all the modernity. The storefront called SARWAA is a sale counter for all tribal and antique goods. But the backyard of the business is their classy, yet folkloric, eatery. The ingenious use of bamboo and thatch in the roof, coir and wood in the furniture, a miniature vintage fountain in the petite open yard, the foliage-covered sidelines and all the indigenous festoons really perked up the ambience. The vernacular of the construction created an ambient cooling within the semi-open café. Ordering a schnitzel and staying for hours with laptops and fiction books is the general practice of youths who frequent the café. Their menu doesn’t present anything unique, but whatever is jotted down is prepared with great care from the kitchen within as if like a home-run business. Sandwhiches, salads, snacks, quesedillas, crepes, waffles, pancakes, noodles, dessert and tea are up for grabs. We ordered their shredded beef sandwich and hot chocolate. Both were delightful, but having it in the countryside ambience added a few more mental points to the food and made it excellent.

Sat here for four hours before I could take a bus back home . I thought it might be a bit too long of a duration to spend in a cafe and I might be asked to leave as the cafe was filling up quickly . But the hosts were extremely kind and despite offering to vacate my table to accommodate others they said it’s completely alright for me to chill for as long as I wanted . That apart , their wheat crepe with jaggery filling is absolutely delicious . A great place for respite from the sweltering heat and inexpensive too . Double thumbs up for their hospitality .

Although ambience is good, the quality of food they offer is not upto the mark as compared to the prices they charge. Filter coffee was good. Chicken sausage was too salty and hot chocolate was lackluster. Table tops are clean but you could see worms and small cockroaches inside the glass table.
