This place is a must for a quick trip or a one night stay! Could not beat the price of less than 100$ for what we got! Bed and room was very clean, I work in healthcare so I could tell that this place actually does a thorough job cleaning. Bed was comfortable for someone who has serious back issues. There was no elevator, but staff accommodated to putting us on the first floor. Pet friendly, but was not loud at all! Had a nice fridge, microwave and the AC unit worked perfect. Will definitely stay here again in the future if near by.

Stayed here because of a conference being held at the adjoining conference center. Would not recommend. Their site brags that they have amenities often only found in 5 star hotels, while the place doesn't even have an elevator. Well, there is a rickety old freight elevator that's limited to staff and accessibility usage. Hello, the 70s called, they want their accommodations back. There's no continental breakfast. It's a lackluster and overpriced "bistro" staffed by unfriendly people. The rooms are passable, so that's something, I guess.

Stayed here two nights already and thought I saw mouse droppings on my bed the other day. I was eating lentils so I thought maybe it's a lentil bean. Nope today I saw a mouse running around. Already have paid to stay two more nights they switched rooms for me. Ground floor is bound to have mouse issues so I can't blame them completely but it still is disturbing. I would put a mousetrap in every room of a hotel near the beds. Getting over a cold and thinking about the mouse running over me the last couple days sucks. Besides that everything else is okay if you're tall the toilets will be a little short for you. Update the room they moved to I examined thoroughly and found a ton of bed bug eggs by the headboard. I notified Steven that I would not be staying here he was glad to refund me for the nights ahead that I was going to stay. My mom says she has worked with the owner in the past through the Elmhurst chamber of commerce and says he is a good guy. Mr Patel. They just need more cleaning and service people they have a good location and they could do a lot better. I would not expect this from a hotel in Elmhurst

We stayed here several times and it's always been really pretty decent but this time there was a mouse in our room which I guess could happen anywhere but I just read the reviews from 2 weeks ago and it shows that someone else had the same problem so that leads me to believe that there is actually an issue with mice in the hotel at this point in time and it probably should have been treated if someone else had already made them aware 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately we will not return again still waiting for a refund on the room.

Pros: Comfortable beds, quiet, the pool is huge. Showers had good water pressure. The front desk guy that I saw the most was super nice and helpful. Cons: Things that were listed on the website were either unavailable or not true (no free breakfast, the pool is NOT heated, the restaurant is not open). If you have a lot of luggage and need to haul it in with a cart the entrance from the side parking lot isn't accessible (there's a step to get in the door) and the back parking lot is gravel. I think a lot of the cons wouldn't have stung so much if the price per night hadn't been so high. I kind of ate the cost because I thought I was paying for the amenties, but to get there and have to go to WalMart to get microwave breakfasts and dinners sucked. I would only stay here again if the rooms were 100 or less a night, or if they got the breakfast/restaurant situation straightened out.

There's a lot of maintenance issues with this hotel. The most annoying had to be the key cards that stopped working daily and needed to be re-programmed. Our room smelled of mold or sweat and running the AC just made it worse. Our fridge did not keep anything cold. The staff tried to fix it, but were unable to. The shower did not drain well. The floors seemed dirty and sticky. The WiFi was very slow and unreliable. Beds were decent and clean thankfully. The food at the bistro is good, but a bit overpriced. Free breakfast would have been a lot nicer. Overall would not recommend staying here for what it costs.

Temperature on shower was warm at best. A mouse came from room 123 into our room (125) multiple times and front desk was not surprised. Tv channels on the tv were few and far between. Another guest that we spoke to had a ghost in her room.

This hotel is just fine. My biggest complaint is that it smells. My friend thought it was paint, I thought it was more trying to cover up mustiness. Both of our rooms smelled so it wasn’t that I just got a bad room. I was on the ground floor and didn’t feel comfortable leaving the window open while I wasn’t there because the room would have been easily accessible from outside. And while both windows opened, only one had a screen. There is no elevator. The “restaurant” is not good. Maybe for a snack but that’s about it. The air conditioner was super loud. Starts off normal, gets louder, gets louder, then bangs when it shuts off. I stayed there because there was an event at the hotel. The event venue was really good. Having said all that, the stay was fine. Just have low expectations.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. Too many ppl just complain when there isn't a reason to complain. Everything was nice. It has been very quite, beds soft, food available, nice pool, nice rooms. Staff was friendly but early mornings they are busy. Nothing here to complain about.

I came here for a conference and it was a decent space for what it was. Rooms seemed decent (I went in one for just a minute). There is a nice little cafe on site. Kind of a tucked away little hotel.

Bed was hard and not all that comfy and had hair in the sheets. Room was outdated and wallpaper was peeling. It smelled like mold when I ran the shower. Had nail clippings on the floor as well . Had to turn the door knob really hard to get into the room . Was kind of a safety concern cause I couldn't get in a couple times . It wasn't the worst but also wasn't the best. The staff was accommodating and polite though .

My family and I have stayed at the Clarion inn Elmhurst Hotel many times and I also make deliveries to this hotel very often. An older woman name Lisa, a Guest Services Representative of the Clarion Inn Elmhurst Hotel, was not professional in her interactions with me regarding an order I was delivering. I approached Lisa, the Guest Service Representative, to confirm the proper 933 S. Riverside address of the hotel considering it was not indicated on my gps. Aggressively snapping at me she sarcastically said, “Doesn’t it let you know on your phone?” I explained my phone did not indicate the address was a hotel. Aggressively loud she further questioned me asking, “Where are you going and what is the name of the person you are delivering to?” I was on a time restraint so I obliged and was met with more hostility. She stated, “You need to tell them they need to come get their food.” Calmly I expressed her line of questioning was abrasive and unprofessional. She said, They are supposed to do this to everyone.” I don’t believe that! She represented the worst of who she actually is! She let me deliver the order. Once delivered I asked her for her name. Being the nasty, sarcastic, unprofessional she is, she said, “Can't you see?” I laughed my anger off and retreated to my vehicle. I called and asked for a supervisor or manager and was told that they are not here. I will never come back to this establishment again. If, as guest services, you have the audacity to speak to anyone like this, this tell you what the Clarion Inn Elmhurst Hotel represents and I will not I put any money into such an establishment! I am sure Lisa was the person who took my call. I am kind of glad I didn't get a supervisor or manger. THIS IS my response! I understand the climate of the world we live in today and if people like Lisa are at the forefront of the divisiveness, it will only get worse!

They were repainting part of the rooms on our floor, at night. Halls reeked of fresh paint. Stains on tub floor were gross. Ice machines and our TV didn't work. Pool area was closed. Seriously underwhelmed, think we should have gotten a discount for being in an active work zone.

Unable to find anyone competent enough to make keys that will get one through the back door and into ones room. So one carries their luggage to the back door and then to the front desk to get a key that works. One then carries one's luggage back to the back door and it works but, the same key will not let me into my room. So, carry the luggage back to the front desk and get another key then carry the luggage back to the room again. On the way to my room I meet two people who can not get in their rooms. I had snacks in one of the bags and lost it all while playing pack horse. They did not offer to replace.

This tucked away hotel was a pleasant stay overnight. The reception staff member was very courteous and helpful. The hotel lobby and room were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The per night cost was affordable. A bonus is an indoor pool. There is a small restaurant, but I was there on the one day it is closed each week. I’ll try this hotel again for a longer stay with grandkids.

I absolutely loved the way the employees tried to problem solve. I asked for a crib and unfortunately, the last one they had had broke and they didn't want to give it to me. They offered a portable bed, I forgot what they're called sorry! And said they could bring it down. Upon setting it up, they were friendly and made conversation with me, apologized for the crib once again and left. I didn't have any problems with the location and the atmosphere was calming. The view was so pretty in the back. I'd stay here again.

Not too bad . Staff is nice. Except Jayleen, the front desk clerk. They don't have breakfast. Monday morning, kitchen is closed. So went to front desk to ask for coffee packets as I had used up and regretted. Jayleen, OMG so much attitude. She either hates her job or her customers. Bad for business. No complaints otherwise.

Greetings, the lady working in the night shift (06/25/22) indulged in a racist confrontation with my group. All the workers in the back were playing loud music and talking loudly all through the night. The front desk chose to target my group, communicated rudely and called the cops thrice just to satisfy herself. Despite that worst experience in the night our stay was pleasurable. We appreciate all the other front desk workers for their help.

The most comfortable beds are here. A very clean and functional room/bathroom. The gym and indoor pool are excellent. The location is somewhat isolated from restaurants but there is a Walmart across the street.

AWFUL place to stay including management. I took pictures of my room that I will be posting on other social media. The room was not cleaned. An opened beer was in the fridge, safety bobby pin on the floor, tape literally holding some of the wall together, and the mirror when steamed stated 'TRUMP 2021!' I talked to the supervisor when he came in at 4pm only to say they will just take 20% off and can't find any product to remove the sign on the mirror! Room preparation is a simple task. Hotels accept damage deposits, so most issues should be an easy fix, just buy a new mirror or washing product then! Seems very lazy on staff

Clean, comfortable room. I got upgraded to a king suite. Nice staff. Ideal location for me. Just three things I was not happy about. -Channel up/down on the TV remote didn't work. Had to manually put in channels. Hard to do when you don't know the channel numbers -Phone in room didn't work -I was told pool was heated. It was not.

The first night the room smelled like feet, old dirty socks Room 124 and the Second night Room 120 was a lot better than the first night. The toilets in both rooms are too low and it needs to be changed to a higher toilet.

Nice and clean. The only cons here, are that they do not have an elevator. Other than that clean rooms and very nice lobby. Great price as well 💰

Terrible, TERRIBLE! First off, there was a rat in my room after 3 days of staying in there. The rat was huge and I’m pretty sure it was brought it by the housekeepers because they are dirty. Two front desk workers Latisha, Steven, and the foreign housekeepers are the worst to ever service me. Steven is a miniature size idiot. He barely understands how to run a hotel and he’s just a pathetic example of a man. The house keepers are foreign and lack the intelligence to use English language. They break policy but will report you if you do anything. They entered my room without me being there even though I was checked in. They told me I was required by policy to have my do not disturb sign up. One of them looks like a man and doesn’t even understand English. Latisha is childish, lazy, and rude. Her attitude is very poor and pretended to be kind while being subtly disrespectful. Latisha is a sorry excuse for a black woman. She thinks she can flirt with guest then try to lie about being desired. She lied to police out of anger and because she is ugly and bald headed. I was escorted out of the hotel because she claimed I harassed her and refused a room change. She lied about that. I never harassed her and I was escorted from the new room because there was a rat in the old one. The police claimed I did no crime and I left without any difficulty. Watch out for these staff members. They fear termination but may have lied to keep their pathetic 2-star hotel careers. Although, I had a tough time, I received a compensation of 40,000 Choice points and they are investigating this experience for me. I win, they lose.
