The room was nice and clean, the TV worked really well to sign into my own accounts. The bed was really comfy and everyone was really nice. One thing I will note though, beware if you are flying Delta or coming in from Terminal 5. The site mentions a complimentary shuttle but does not say anywhere that it doesn't come to Terminal 5 without a request. So if you are like me and stood out in the cold for an hour waiting for the shuttle, then when you finally call to ask where it is and hear on the phone you need to request it you're probably going to be as mad as I was.

Our room was dated and not clean, the bathroom tile looked grimy, floor was soaking wet by the bed not sure what it was, you could very easily hear people in the hallway. I couldn't adjust or turn off the air conditioning unit in the room. Good proximity to the airport and not a terrible room rate but I'm glad we were only there for one night before our flight.

This is a clean modern feeling stylish three star hotel. The employees and a small bar area were top notch. The best thing about the hotel is its location... easily walkable to more than 20 restaurants and bars including some of the top choices in the area.

Definitely a “swanky” feeling hotel. It has a futuristic/modern feel to it with a very relaxing atmosphere with mood lighting throughout that building. The rooms are set up in a non-traditional way that bring a different feel to the room, but it felt like it was smaller than the typical room. The hotel and rooms were really clean with a very nice smell to them. The bed was SUPER comfortable. I did order food and the front desk would not allow them up, but did call me instead. That’s good, as they’re keeping the building secure. The staff was also awesome and very friendly! The one thing that would be on the more “negative” side, and it may be minor to one person and major to another is that they have more of a panel style drape than a cloth drape. It doesn’t block light coming in from the sides, the the room was a little more “bright” at night than desired, but the comfort of the bed made up in the end with a good nights rest. I would stay again anytime.

When I arrived I thought the building was closed for the night because there were no lights on in front of the building and with tinted windows I was not able to see inside. Once I tried the door and confirmed it was the entrance, the front desk person was very friendly and promptly checked me in. When I got to my room and turned on all the lights it was still rather dim except for right in front of the bathroom sink. The desk reading light was brighter than all other lights in the room combined. The room was clean and comfortable. I just prefer a brighter room. Overall the stay was fine. Some brighter lighting and signage out front would be a welcome addition.

Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it. I really like this hotel, this is my second stay here. Quick walk to the convention centre, or you can take the shuttle. The parking is simple and straightforward. Also Valerie (I believe her name was ?) at the front desk was the most kind and genuine hotel employee I have ever met ! Y'all better give her a raise she was so helpful !!! My only gripe with the hotel is the light switches in the rooms are kind of weird with the location of them all being by the front door, some of them controlling the same lights.

There is almost no on site parking. You have to park across the street in a funky parking garage that’s inconvenient. Situated in a strange area and hard to get to. No complimentary breakfast and although I checked in with The app, I had to manually check in at the desk as well and my preferences weren’t saved. Walls are very thin and my neighbor coughing woke me up during the night. There is one ice machine for the whole building and it’s on the second floor. The worst part of the stay was that I had an early flight out and couldn’t even shower because something was wrong with the boiler and there was no hot water. I won’t stay again, this whatI expect and why I’m a Marriott member.

Great location outside of the airport. A few great dining options if you don’t mind the general price hike based on airport proximity. In my experience, the TV didn’t work initially, the single ice machine for the hotel, located on floor 2 was out of order, which required front desk support to get ice, and the shower leaked water all over the floor due to a bad seal on the door. Parking is fine but is a separate cost that needs to validated every time you leave/return. Stay somewhere else.

Overall it was a very good experience. The hotel is clean and inviting. There is a nice lobby area with a cafeteria, a bar, pool table, and they have an indoor pool and gym. Decor and ambience is very comfortable. The room was neat and clean. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. Daily room cleaning is not done unless you ask, but you are advised of this upon check in. We did have an issue with the bathroom as the floor flooded every time we took a shower. But otherwise it was an excellent stay and we would come back here for sure. Thank you!

Could have been much better... weird experience with the hotel staff over the phone. Not accommodating and a bit abrasive. Experience improved upon arrival (a bit). Room was just okay... sink that wouldn't drain, among other minor inconvenience. Loved the area though. Lots of high quality shopping, great parking, and access to highways.

I have stayed at this hotel two years in a row. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The property is simple and in a great location. The price is very affordable and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. The showers do sometimes take a while to warm up FYI and they are going through some minor renovations, but this did not disrupt my stay. Also the bartender at the lobby bar is a rockstar!

Not bad. Not great. No housekeeping service for stay overs. Unless requested before 8 AM. Requested towels and paper products and it took four hours to get them brought up to the room. Sliding door for the bathroom mirror cracked and ceiling in the shower damaged. Parking is not free which is probably normal for this area. On the positive side, the bed was comfy and the staff seemed friendly. Also in a great area for restaurants and entertainment.

Great hotel experience for the amount paid. Used this hotel to get a jump start on our early morning Ohare flight, so the airport shuttle was a great convenience and money saver. The rooms had everything we needed and the front desk was able to answer any questions we had! Pool, bar, fitness area, and parking available. More breakfast options would be a great addition.

Got in late everything was closed but that’s not the fault of the hotel. Manny is the one who made my stay a five star rating. He was very helpful. Then the lady (Nina ) I believe, at the front desk today was great super quick when the shuttle van took off and I didn’t see it pull up. I went out but he was gone. She got on the radio/phone and he picked me up in back. Great team Aloft ! Remember this, from an old wise man. ‘You always work better as a team’. Thank you driver for swinging to the back door to pick me up. I will get your name and update later.

Not a great experience. I checked in at the front desk and was only given out keys. The person disnt provide us with any hotel information. It was spring break and I brought my kids to enjoy one of the amenities they offer- heated pool. We checked in and was told pool is not accessible until 7 pm because they are painting. Came the next day and it's still not accessible because they didn't finish it in time. We got stopped by housekeeping and was questioned what time we are checking out. When I told her we opt for late check put at 2 pm, she told us we need to speak with the front desk and make them aware. She didn't say good morning or anything else but what time are you checking. Our room smelled like paint and it was so hard to breathe so I asked to get moved to another room. Overall it was a first and will be the last for Aloft. It was a wasted money overall and horrible experience overall. I will not recommend.

Hotel is in a good area. Good atmosphere for drinking and having a good time. When I flushed the toilet, it smelled like pee. The sheets smelled a little damp. Also, I couldn't figure out how to contact the front desk using the phone in the room. I had to go down to request a towel. They told me they would bring it up and never did.

I had a great stay, the staff was very nice especially Carlos! Made me a dragonfruit mojito which I’ve never tried before! Very good must try! He was very friendly and treated me well at the bar and during my stay. The shuttle to the airport is very convenient. Very thankful for the experience.

Good in some ways and bad in others. Good luck if you're room isn't set up right. They do not fix issues or problems that happen with your room. Staff is nice and do give you toiletries upon request.

The room wasn't very clean, the sink sprayed everywhere, as did the shower. The air conditioner was loud and didn't get cooler than 68° for the entirety of my stay. Very loud being that the highway is right there. Would not recommend.

Clean hotel, pleasant, and helpful staff. Would be nice to have microwave in rooms instead of having the community microwave in lobby. Bar not open every night. Parking ridiculous.

Well-planned hotel. Excellent location. Lots of food choices nearby. Loved watching the planes from hotel windows. Quiet too, no loud noises, not even from the airport nearby.

I have stayed at this property a number of times when visiting the O'Hare airport area - each time it has been comfortable, clean and without incident. A couple of things I think are worth mentioning though: - The parking situation kind of sucks. There is a lot out front of the hotel that you can park in but the fee is $35 or so per night. I think its worth it because the other option is the parking garage which seems to be quite busy and a bit hectic, especially on weekends. I did have a couple of times that I had to go around the block waiting for a spot to open up even though I had registered my vehicle with the front desk to be able to park in the lot outside. - This is a fairly busy area. There is an entertainment type district that this property is part of that includes a movie theater, several restaurants and a green for shows and such. If you are down to use these amenities it is great as it is all in super easy walking distance. If you are looking for a chill/quiet spot though, this might not be it, especially on weekends. - There seems to be a tendency for large groups to use this property. One time I stayed there was what seemed to be a boys hockey team, another time there were a couple other large groups of kids. Depending on where your room is this may or may not be an issue, but once or twice I did hear people running up and down the halls. - The rooms are unique. The beds are platform beds and the mattresses easily slide off the platform which can be annoying. The bathroom is kind of oddly situated with a frosted window into the rest of the room. It isn't very isolated so if you are traveling with people you are not incredibly comfortable with it might make for an awkward stay. These things said, I continue to stay here and pick this over other properties in the area, primarily because this property seems to be fairly competitively priced.

Room was a bit dated. Parking is really bad if you don’t reserve a spot on the grounds. The parking garage is frustrating and confusing. Was fortunate enough to hear people just yelling in the hallway at each other. Clearly intoxicated and in the furthest hallway from the lobby and we get to listen to them scream. Ask them to please go somewhere else and they go on an even noisier rant

When United canceled out flight. They gave us a voucher for a hotel stay. I chose the Aloft because it was close, and I'm glad that I did. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff was excellent and quick serving.

Located is great. Not far to O'Hare with free shuttle. near (100+ yards) a food/drink area, restaurants (sea food, bbq, pub food etc) brew pub craft beers.) The hotel is ok, showing a little little wear and tear. Hotel design is a little querky as typical for Aloft.

The overhead bed lights in the room did not work, the shower leaked everywhere and soaked the tiles outside the shower area, the shower head was poor quality and trickled out water, there was also mold within the tile of the shower, and there are very minimal food options within the hotel. Overall I would not recommend this hotel especially if all you want is a nice shower.

Bartender was smart and helpful and the long island ice tea was the smoothest and tastiest I have ever had and I have had them all over the USA for nearly 30 years. I went on a Friday night but it was only like 8 pm so it dead with the exception of two 50+ gents but I was told people show up later. Nice decor and low piped in pleasant enough music that would not get in the way of people talking.

Nice hotel and close to a commercial area with a lot of restaurants that you can reach just walking 5 minutes. Hotel was clean and friendly.

Good hotel located in a good location for food, drinks and shopping. The air-con seems to be lacking in all common areas but it works in my room. Staff are helpful.

Great hotel and awesome location! Rooms are well appointed and more importantly quiet and dark! Very nice bathroom and shower, and the beds were comfy! Plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance!

The room was nice, but that's all. Breakfast is NOT free, and the things you can buy are not very good. They do NOT clean the rooms daily - you have to call the front desk to ask for your room to be cleaned, and even then, the cleaning is sub-par. They don't always change the sheets, change the towels and actually clean the room. I will NOT stay here again (unless they change their bad policies!).

Alex at the front desk was absolutely amazing! Quick and efficient, Alex made very pleasant conversation and assisted us in checkout information along with all possible food delivery services. The rooms were trendy, clean, well organized, and stocked. Great amenities all in one place. Staying here on our way back from Iceland as well! Thanks, Alex! You made our stay in a new, busy city so very comfortable. We felt very much "at home" during our stay!

I booked this hotel when I surprised my husband with a mini vacation to go to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals the weekend before Thanksgiving and it was a great stay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, room was clean and comfortable. Within waking distance to so many things. We will definitely be booking again!

On a few recent occasions I stayed/parked at the Aloft, both for business (Sept 2021) and for personal travel (Jan 2022). The hotel is very convenient to O'Hare via the complimentary shuttle or Lyft/Uber. I received excellent customer service during both of these recent stays, particularly from the front desk team and the shuttle drivers. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. I am looking forward to my next stay here in the near future.

The rooms are good size. Check-in was easy and the staff was nice. I stayed here after spending the evening in Parkview (Sugar Factory, Joe's Live) but didn't get much sleep. The hallway echoes and you can hear everything. Some guy was screaming obscenities for hours, then the hotel finally called the police to have them hauled off, after they screamed it out with the police in the hallway for 45 minutes at 4am. The morning brought more people yelling in the halls. I wish I went home instead of crashing here for the night but that was the luck I had, YMMV. It is a nice looking hotel and convenient to everything; I might give it one more shot in the future, but not for a while.

So, I am not one who does a ton of Reviews but these two individuals need some recognition. I have been in the people business for 20+ years and I have to take my hat off to the overnight staff at this particular location. Manny & Toni are absolutely awesome. Both very good with actively listening and taking care of the needs of the guest. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know the two of them a little better on my visit.

My wife and I stayed here while in town for a comic convention and we loved it, cannot wait to come back! The price was the best in the area while being in walking distance of our convention center and so many food options and fun things to do! The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. The desk workers were always very kind and helpful during check-in or when we got our parking validated a couple of times. The rooms have such a unique layout and were very clean and elegant. We got breakfast one morning and that was also pretty tasty. If we are ever in Rosemont again we would love to stay here again!

Absolutely great! Loved the bar common area lobby. Good gym and nice pool. Fantastic location next yo outlets of Chicago and plenty restaurants walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking $23 across street a short walk or right next to hotel for $35. (Like any big city, parking is getting a price hike).

  • 5/5 Bailey S. 2 years ago on Google
The area in which the hotel is located was great, it was very safe and I felt incredibly comfortable walking around on my own to the mall across the street, and even around the entertainment district as a whole. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and the staff from housekeeping to management was incredibly kind & helpful if I had any questions or concerns. Jennifer, the hotel manager is an incredible human being with a heart of absolute gold. She assisted me in removing myself from a situation with the friend I was traveling with, that could have potentially turned dangerous for me, had I not relocated within the hotel. I could tell that my safety was her number one priority and I will forever be grateful to her for helping me out! I will absolutely be returning to Aloft on my next trip to the Chicago area and cannot recommend it enough to others.

My husband and I stayed for two nights this weekend. The hotel was super understaffed, but I understand that’s not the fault of the workers. It was just so inconvenient. It took nearly 30 minutes of waiting in line to check in, plus 10 minutes to actually check in. The parking situation was a little disappointing, but at least there was a skywalk from the garage to the hotel. When we finally made it up to our room, we realized that every single pillow on the beds were down, which I am allergic to. We went back down to the front desk, waited in line for 20 minutes, then it took the woman working the front desk like 15 minutes to find a non-down pillow. The first “down alternative” pillow she handed us literally had a giant tag sticking out of it that said “DOWN”! The showers had no hot water on both nights that we were there; the temperature only got up to lukewarm. The lights above the beds got SUPER hot after being on for even just a couple minutes at a time, then after we turned them off, they clicked and creaked for around an hour while the fixtures cooled down. I saw some reviews mentioning the AC, but the AC was fine. Looks like they fixed the issue. There is definitely some road and airport noise to be expected. I found it soothing, but some might not. Overall, I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but it’s not the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Definitely a lackluster experience but not a nightmare, and probably very convenient for those who fly in.

This was a pretty cool place! Stayed here 1 night, and found myself seeing new things everytime I walked the halls, or was waiting for a ride in the lobby. The building is pretty trendy and has a unique layout. It's close to ORD which was great, and the shuttle service was 24/7 and right on time. The lobby was massive and had a small bar inside with food, drinks, and coffee. The rooms were really unique. The layout was extremely different than your typical Marriott, with the first thing you see while walking in being the closet area and sink. The bathroom was pretty small, but the shower had a cool frosted glass section showing into the bedroom area. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed, and two large glass windows for a lot of natural light. The only complaint about the room was the small toilet area, and the fact that Marriott's TV system is always terrible, slow, and unresponsive. But aside from that, this place was great!

A great view from the room towards the shopping area. Service was poor from communication to attitude when checking in. The parking is complicated via a sky bridge to a ramp. You pay for this separate but it comes off your booking. The breakfast is regular price for what it is. Very close for activities such as bars, food and the convention centre. Spacious room with a different design than usual. Ice was only on one floor and a mission to find it.

  • 3/5 Giles P. 2 years ago on Google
No great view but you're not here to enjoy the view of Chicago, you're here to go to a conversation or on a long layover. I've stayed at 4 of these now and each are about the same. Very clean and up to date decour. You wont find old wood paneling or water stains here.

We just arrived here at the hotel and got greeted by the lady in the front desk, sounds annoyed and doesn’t like that i asked her a question. But what i noticed that she seems nice to people who are well dressed, fancy type kinda people. I didn’t wear fancy since I’ve traveled here in Chicago for like 8 hours and i want to be comfortable. Hoody is not bad but not fancy to her taste i guess. Good customer service is a must and not judgmental!
