Recently tried this place for the first time ever on Valentine's Day and both my wife & I had a wonderful evening out. When I made the reservation with Open Table, there was no indication that proof of vaccination was required prior to being seated. My wife & I are both vaccinated but weren't exactly "prepped" to show proof when we confronted the host. Located right in front of the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel, this sophisticated steakhouse boasts a relatively limited menu but with an extensive wine/cocktail list. Setting is both elegant & romantic, food was superb and less expensive than Ruth's Chris & Fleming's and the service was nothing short of spectacular. Our server Richard did an exceptional job and if we ever dine here again, we're gonna request him as our server.

One of the best overall dinning experiences in Rosemont. The valet experience is top notch and personal. The bar staff is knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. The wait staff is friendly and spot on with recommendations. The food amazing from appetizer to dessert. Business dinner, birthday or weekly night out, this is the place.

Very nice place! Only had appetizers and drinks. Try the mozzarella wrapped in Prosciutto and cooked. Delicious! Would like to try dinner next time. Definitely will return next trip to the area & am going to look into where they have others!

Nice place. Ver y clean, service was fast and continuous. Check ups every 10 mins at most. water is constantly filled. Table is constantly swept of unused plates. Bar area can be loud even for dining area in bar. 4 stars because I didn't know they serve meat VERY RARE. Meat was cool in the middle which was strange to me. They explained it to me after returning it twice to get cooked more! A thicker cut than I expected- chefs recommendation. Great steak though! Enjoyed the Crab cakes and Lobster. They will split orders for 2 ppl. Also, gave a complimentary treat for birthday in pics- Salmon on a cucumber! Valet is fast, free and courteous! I recommend going here if your not thrifty!

Privately dined from prix fixed menu with a group of friends. The food and service were outstanding. It always is when I dine at Capital Grille in general but specifically Capital Grille Rosemont never disappoints.

So we had a small family thing for Mom's birthday. Capital was very warm and welcoming, we got a nice private room for our gathering. We started with some signature cocktails, "in fashion" and "blackberry bourbon" (which I highly recommend). Ordered a few starters, tuna tartare, calamari and burrata salad all very good choices. No one at the table really stepped outside the box for dinner (Filet Mignons) around mostly, then there was me... Let me tell you about this "Mint &Honey Lamb Chops" 🤤🤤🤤 look after drinks and app I wasn't that hungry, but I had to sink my teeth into these well prepared medium rare delicious hunks of meat. My mouth is watering just writing this review a week(?) Later now. Okay, enough of that, so there were also sides, Lobster Mac is seriously the only side you need but if you're not into that ( and you should be) there was also Au Gratin potatos, brussel sprouts (surprisingly good) and creamed spinach. If you're still reading at this point, good for you... Maybe my most detailed post ever😂... We had some after dinner drinks, Expresso Martinis and some special inside pineapple concoction that takes a week to make... Both very good like everything else this far. Okay what you all have been waiting for, the end but only to bring to desert 😅 Just look at the pictures, this place did good. Special thanks to our server Alexandria for dealing with us.

Came in for lunch and the server was very professional, polite and friendly. At the gentleman at the door and the valet or also very accommodating. Ribeye was fabulous, perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. And the calamari was excellent as well, very large portion!

Sometimes a little too drafty, but overall great experience

I only gave 3 stars because of the food. The actual restaurant itself is beautiful, no complaints there. My food was very salty! I ordered steak, and truffle fries. When I took my first bite of steak, all I tasted was pepper. As I continued to eat it, it became extremely salty. My fries were very salty also. That was my first time have truffles so I didn't know what to expect. I still don't know, because all I tasted was salt. The staff was very well dressed, overall environment was perfect. Our waiter seemed like he was always rushing me though. I felt rushed to order, rushed to pay, he wasn't welcoming. Don't recall if I ever saw a smile from him.

When you enter into this restaurant, it feels like you've entered a classic movie scene where the high powered politicians or bosses meet to "discuss" their business. It has dark ambience with beautiful deep colored wood finishings and golden orange chandeliers hanging. The presentation of their food needs more work, surprisingly lackluster, almost dropped and splatted on. Ok a bit overboard with the description but you get the point, too basic! However, the taste, flavors, freshness and skills cooking the food, EXCEPTIONAL. The steaks are simply AMAZING.

This restaurant is amazing! Definitely recommending this place. I just bumped into this area yesterday with my best friend and we were just actually trying to find a place to hang out on and hopefully have a peaceful dine in. it was really a miracle being in here. The ambiance of the place literally set up my mood after just walking in. the vibes is really top notch and I like how the staff greeted me on my way in. their service is phenomenal. Their workers are friendly, kind, cooperative, patient and professional. They would really assist you and talk to you properly whether it would be the menu, or finding a seat or just regarding about the place. Aside from the cool ambiance and great service of this Capital Grille place is that their foods are really high quality! We ordered their Crab Cakes, Salmon, Mozzarella wrapped Prosciutto, lobster, steak and a chocolate cake for dessert. Really recommending those! Their foods are all perfectly seasoned and well cooked. I like how they prepared everything and the size portion is pretty neat, the deal is nice as well. Great place with great people to be with and high quality mouth-craving foods. Fantastic time. We came here before a concert at Allstate as well as a celebratory dinner as my husband got a great promotion. Our server Benny, was phenomenal; so sweet and attentive! Highly recommend asking for him if you come in. The food was perfect and the wine was awesome. Highly recommend!!

Recently had dinner at Capital Grill Chicago near O’Hare airport. Wonderful evening! I was traveling by myself and just wanted to sit at bar. First of all, they are taking every precaution to keep their customers safe. Everyone is required to wear masks entering restaurant and walking around. I saw staff sanitizing everything that was touched. My experience sitting at the bar was wonderful! The bartender was wonderful and very engaging in conversation. I’m sorry I did not get her name!:(. Food was exceptional as well as wine. The Sommelier stopped by and was informative and engaging while discussing wine. Enjoyed the conversation with the three of us. Thank you for the enjoyable evening!

This steakhouse is wonderful. I had Jennifer as my sever and she was amazing. I told them it was my boyfriends birthday in the notes and they gave him a birthday card and confetti on the table. I also requested a booth in the notes and that’s what I was given. Our experience was perfect… the steak was cooked perfect. The complimentary pumpernickel bread was really tasty. We didn’t have to ask for not one thing our entire dinner. They really take care of their customers. I went on a Monday at 5:15pm so if that helps… there was plenty of seats even though we made reservations anyway. I recommend going around that time on a weekday to get the best experience and the music was at a perfect volume. I like that the music was just background music and not overpowering… you can’t definitely hold conversations there.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. We were there to celebrate a birthday and the service was nothing short of spectacular. Our server, Nicole, was an all-star!!! This was a birthday my friend won't soon forget. Stellar food, kind and welcoming service, and elegant atmosphere.... It's what we've come to expect from Capital Grill!

The service was top notch. The food was top notch. Even their valet was top notch. This resturant is surrounded by fine dining resturants and they are far superior to all of them. We love this place.

Still in awe of our experience last night for dinner. The service was impeccable and the food was superb. I don’t think I’ve eaten at a better restaurant in my entire life. Our server Jennifer made sure our five-year anniversary was one to remember. When we arrived there was a hand written card from staff and it was just overall incredible experience.

Great service from very knowledgeable staff, as always. Food is always delicious. The soups to the steaks to the desserts will blow your palette away. Meals plentiful and as expected to taste. Even though it was crowded for a Tuesday night, they went out of their way to make the night special. Complimentary valet makes parking in Rosemont almost as great as the meal.

Generous pour event is great as usual. I go to CG every year for its event and always have a great surprise of wines. This year was no exception with the Col Solare. Food wise, we got our usual calamari and ribeye. CG features dry aged ribeye this year, DELICIOUS!

Great restaurant with high level of service. Went here for my birthday with my wife and they took a photo of us and printed it into a little card. Nice touch. The food was great as well, steak perfectly done and nicely seared.

From the moment your car gets Valet, to when you walk in everyone is Very attentive and on point with top notch service, our waitress and waitstaff was great and made you feel like family. Dinner was fabulous from the chicken and the amazing super yummy mash potatoes and also don’t for get the calamari definitely has a little kick to it but very tasty… always pleasant ….

Great restaurant. Overall an awesome dining experience with tasty food. Their cheesecake (tasted like a brulee) and flour less cake were excellent ways to end the meal.

Great place for dinner and awesome service as always. Had the scallops for dinner and sprouts for a side. Also the filet and mini lobster tails. All were outstanding. The sprouts were just OK. Can get better ones at RPM Steak for sure. It's definitely a great place for special occasions. Prices aren't as bad as you'd think. There is a nice wine and drink selection for all budgets. We chowed down the steak tartar. Remember people, it is raw beef and awesome.

Overall a pleasant dining experience but for the price you would expect a perfectly made steak. Steak was over cooked. Ordered a medium strip loin and got an almost well done steak.

Many thanks my friend for taking me and my wife to this grille house. The sliced filet mignon here is excellent. The meat is soft, juicy, and rich in taste and texture. As shown in another photo, no blood is left on the dish. This demonstrates the excellence and the skilfulness of the chef. The cheesecake and the coconut cream pie are also delicious. The attendants are very polite and attentive. This makes your journey to Chicago a nice experience.

I think it's fair to have very high expectations based on the prices and reputation of Grille. High-end food and service should be expected. Last visit the food was satisfying, could have been a bit better overall. Service is an important part of the experience, and while very good, it felt very rushed. The place runs at a frenetic pace, don't stand still, or you'll be squashed. I did have an issue with a side which was deducted from the bill with no prompting. Overall, a solid performance.

Valet was great. Hostess was rude when seating my wife and I. Asked to change tables and she didn’t bother setting our silverware at the new table. Put our menus down with an attitude and we had to grab our place settings from the other end. Other than that, server was nice and food was decent.

Thanksgiving dinner was amazing. Turkey and sides were perfect. My son and his girlfriend steaks were perfect. Service was impeccable and the staff were as friendly as can be. Couldn't have been easy for them having to work the holiday. My first time at Capital but definitely not my last. Thank you for helping make our Thanksgiving very enjoyable

The bartender was one of the best I have ever encountered. Super efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Made the start to the dinner fantastic. Food is top notch, well at least the steaks are. All 5 of us ordered steaks. Well worth the cost.

I absolutely love the capital grille. The food is always fresh, and the service is always amazing. The drinks are another level of having a wonderful time there. I sat at a table before, but my all-time favorite was sitting at the bar top. It's like you have your own personal waitress and bartender all in one. I love it there.

Excellent service and food best French onion soup I ever had!! Beef tenderloin and lobster tails cooked to perfection. Cheesy and delicious potatoes au gratin and Brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and flavored

We went for our anniversary and I wish we had gone somewhere else. It's too bad the location is so close to such a noisy, dirty area. I will say that our server was an absolute delight. The valet attendants were the best part of our experience. They were upbeat and set expectations for mask requirements and sanitized everything they touched. They deserve more money than the servers. The calamari was great because we had never had it with the mixed peppers, loved it and no need for any marinara sauce, but otherwise it's the same as any other place. But he Kona steak tasted like a burned pork chop. The mac and cheese claimed to be table size, but as you can see it was barely enough for a single portion. No server used any precautions when pouring and serving drinks. I was underwhelmed from a WildFire level restaurant.

Quality Meals and service at this place is great. entered near ten, it was not crowded. the bill was good for what you get. i can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.

Came out for my sister's birthday. My first time here. They make you feel welcome. From valet, to host stand, to the waiter. Felt so special. After perusing the extensive menu, I ordered the Mojito de Uvas (Barcardi Superior, champagne, cane sugar, fresh mint, green grapes). It was good, just wasn't sweet. Tasted everything but the sugar & grapes. Not a one to be seen. The lobster bisque soup was a creamy cup of heaven with juicy pieces of lobster floating in it. The double cut lamb rib chops were divine. Nice peppery char on the outside and tender on the inside. Ordered them medium well. And the lobster mac & cheese was delicious. Only wish that it was larger. All in all, a nice experience.

Weird leaving a positive review at a steak joint as a vegan, but we got stranded at O'Hare because of a snow storm and options were limited. But Ewelina (hope I spelled it right) the bartender, and the rest of the staff were perfect, were more than considerate for accommodating and my meal was phenomenal. Was assuming I was going to eat French fries at a fat food joint. Was served a salad and a portobello sandwich, prefect. Management and staff A+ thank you!!

Lump crab was great

On October 23, 2020, we were staying at the Loews Hotel right next to this Capital Grille location in Rosemont, IL and decided to have dinner. It was not just any ordinary day, it was the day before our wedding. I casually mentioned this to Sherard Holland, Manager. Sherard quickly acted upon this information and exceeded our expectations by ensuring that we had a nice private table in the corner, he had our names printed on the menu, had the staff treat us with extra special care which included a champagne toast and dessert. Truly Amazing! We never expected to be treated this way and I can tell you for certain we will return to a Capital Grille for sure because they know what customer service is all about!
