First place i saw great big polar bears. Omg polar bears are huge and marvelous to look at. Just wondering how much they are able to adapt in hot weather in the zoo which is why one was always swimming in the water. My kid loved experiencing the bear from close by.

The Great Bear Wilderness exhibit is a relatively newer location at the zoo. This houses all kinds of bears including polar and black or brown. You can get up and close to the animals as there are a lot of viewing windows. Keep in mind that bears sleep a lot and can be snoring while you visit during the day.

8/2022 5* Always fun to visit the bears! 3/2021 We are so glad this opened back up! Loved seeing the Polar bears play and chase their food. The brown bear was amazingly huge and active today. Love this exhibit. A favorite of our family every time we go.

The polar bear is concerning as the pacing is followed by a violent head wobble. Other folks may see it as cute or nothing to worry about, but I can assure that isn't normal behavior for a polar bear underneath the Chicago sun. :( Other bears seem perfectly fine and content with their habitat set up however.

A very good display for bears. They have multiple areas for bears that have outside and inside viewing. The inside viewing you can see two separate areas with bear pools, where they often swim. They have polar bears and grizzlies. When it's cold you can watch more from inside. It's well designed and a favorite spot for my visits.

Nice to see 90% of visitors knew to wear masks when in congested areas. The indoor buildings kept attendance very limited. People get a little forgetful when bears are involved but overall a lovely experience

It was alright..i felt like the whole zoo needs more room for their animals..or what animals remain! Love the polar bear size comparison though its super cool to see how large they get in the wild.

I gave It 4 stars because we only got a glimpse of polar bear for a half a second.

Everytime I come here one of the bears is sound asleep right by the plexiglass viewing area so you can see how massive yet adorable they are. I just wish I could see the polar bear swimming sometime!

Christmas lights were awesome but few animals out at night (should be expected).

A favorite section of the zoo for family and me. They have some massive bears and the gift shop has lots of cool stuff to buy. It all goes to the Brookfield Zoo, so I don't mind the prices. If you have a respect for bears, definitely make a stop here during your next visit to the zoo.

Nice display of both Polar and Grizzly bears. One star off for forcing you through a gift shop on the way out.

Lovely place, it's wonderful to plan a visit during the feeding time for the Bears. This is when they swim into the water and one can get a closer view
