I found this hotel to be a beautiful place and a wonderful place to stay. Very safe and very clean and the staff was incredibly attentive and professional. I'm into art and creativity so this is a five star location for those of us that aren't into the Hyatt or Waldorph Historia type of accomodations but more for the 1408 and Bates Motel kind of beauty. It's a really great place to stay when you want to be creatively inspired! When I checked out of their establishment I was very much inspired to accomplish my artistic and creative goals. A beautiful place with a wonderful view!

Stay away! The same cranky old man (receptionist) declined my questions over the phone as to book a room and requested I come in and 'see for myself' . When I arrived, I met a 'flirtatious receptionist'. No discrimination at all , we're both black , I'm a 29 year old woman , he's a late 50-early 60 heavy-set guy. I'm struggling and people say "you get what you pay for" ..well I wouldn't spend another dollar here

It is wat it is. * What makes them STAND OUT is that they offer what NO other hotel in mphs. offers & that is they DO ALLOW check -in starting at 9am. It's $70 so the price does go up a little from normal rates. But u get until 11am the next day. That's a major POSITIVE for me bc working at night if I'm off after midnight there's nowhere to check-in unless ur doing hourly or wanna pay double the price for less time. That is my ONLY reasoning for 4 star rating.

When you enter the Hotel it looks quite decent clean exterior and corridor/lobby area. Front desk clerk seemed presentable and hospitable until i started to bring in my belongings. They felt as though because i had quite a few things that my room would be unkempt and โ€œdirtyโ€ -nothing could be farther from the truth. (just ask housekeeping, they didnโ€™t even have to clean my room!) At any rate, the front desk clerks attitude became a bit โ€œshortโ€ and rude once she saw all of my belongings. I asked about weekly rates and was informed that they Do NOT do weekly stays/rates . I reiterated and was told DEFINITIVELY that โ€œWe Do NOT do weekly rates โ€œ So the โ€œdailyโ€ room was awesome! It was up to date, clean, loved it. Come to find out i was deceived and beat out of my money ! I ended up paying over 200$ for 3 days when i could have paid 249.00$ for an entire 7 days!!! I was offered ZERO compensation- when i did finally receive my โ€œweekly roomโ€ not ONLY was i NOT credited ANYTHING towards it ...the room was just โ€œughhhhโ€(YUCK) There was dried up blood on the walls, urine and cigarette butts in the toilet, the curtain was half hung on the window, all walls were FILTHY, the carpet had burn marks EVERYWHERE, the fridge barely got cold, the microwave was ancient and dirty, the bathroom was filthy and ancient , outdated room looked like something from the 70s!!!! I had to scub all if the walls and disinfect the ENTIRE room with bleach and gain detergent !!! It smells HORRIBLE ! As soon as you step off of the elevator on the 4th floor it smells of urine and basement -the room smelled pretty much the same! Just sad sad sad but what can you do when you have no car and nowhere else to go?!! Extremely distressed disappointed and disgusted! I had to pay all of that excess cash no one cared or tried to fix or even address the situation! Thinking of speaking to my attorney... this is NOT how you do a PAYING CUSTOMER ! I had to pay extra unnecessary money and clean too UNACCEPTABLE !!! And just WRONG.There has to be something that should have been and CAN BE done ...So in total i have paid almost 500$ ...i was just โ€œUNDONEโ€ when i found out the TRUTH ...#DoNotComeToTheAirportInn#ThumbsDown

It's really not fair for me to rate this place, I only delivered groceries here before, but I can say that the lady who worked at the desk was nice and friendly. They had like a whole family or 2, I couldn't tell, sitting in the lobby. I don't know what they were waiting on, but they was just sitting, they even greeted me. Police was outside in the parking lot. I don't know what happened, but the actual hotel is very low budget, old, and ran down. It's a place to lay your head when you don't have a place to lay your head that's all I'm going to say.

Worst hotel place in Memphis, especially for tourists, the toilets won't stop flushing, bedbugs, the hotel attendants treats you like a criminal and their breakfast area are stupid, I was at the lobby minding my business and the guy who runs the hotel tells me to leave and I'm a customer her for a week. No I don't recommend this place and if you're a tourist or honeymooning be sure to hide your valuables from crooks outside and get the hotel manager to speak English good enough to understand you're a customer who can speak it better than them!

Affordable clean room, cheerful staff close to the airport and anything you'd like to eat. Also, 1 and a 1/2 miles away from Elvis Presley's mansion.

The hotel is just horrible, not in good condition; there's no wifi, cable is broken and all the activities you can do (like swimming, the gym, and a restaurant)here are unavailable and on top of it they are really high about a thousand dollars a month.

Everything was nasty and not safe someone kicked the door in. Dark and office desk did nothing after I complained and would not refund me my money.

Beds were dirty, rooms dark, bathroom gross, I was sitting in lobby waiting for family to wake and got bumrush over a drink in lobby never mind the fact that this whole place is gross. Even walking down the hall. Only stayed here bc been on road for 16 hours and needed sleep. Would never recommend!!! Only 1 star because have to leave something!!

All these negative reviews was not my experience at all. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. I did not fear for my safety nor my wife's at any time. The room was clean and the price was a great deal. We saw no bugs and everything worked. Yes I would definitely stay here again.
