The closest you can be to Taal volcano with beer in hand, five star food and class lodging. Great staff. Another plus was Taal bellowing steam while we were there. Am surprised Nuuk hasn't yet reached the word-of-mouth reputation as other equally good and pricey botique hotels and mini-resorts.

Where do I even start? I had high expectations especially after seeing the photos on their website. And Nuuk Taal exceeded those expectations! Such a serene place, holding true to their word that it is indeed the perfect place to unwind and slow down. The service is excellent as well. And oh my gosh, the food - my family loved EVERYTHING. We have to go back and try out all that's on the menu 🤤

With a Nordic European motif, beautiful interiors and spacious rooms, Nuuk at Taal Lake is a hidden gem nestled in the province of Batangas. The service and cleanliness were impeccable, and the presentation and decor gorgeous. Keep in mind, however, that for snacks and meals, their restaurant is the only one around, and although the food is very good, it is a little overpriced (although breakfast is included with all the rooms). There is an infinity pool overlooking Taal Lake and the volcano, and the vista is beautiful. Overall, for a very relaxing time, and only a couple of hours away from the city, Nuuk is definitely a worthwhile getaway.

Really enjoyed my time with the family here. Perfect for a quick getaway from the city. Good place for kids to run around too. All the staff are well-trained and service oriented. Madam Mary and the team really makes sure the guests are comfortable and pleased. There's room for improvement for food BUT they serve the best Rye, Babka, and Zucchini bread. Wifi is excellent, even in outdoors. Perfect for remote-workers too. Also, the view! It's like Taal is part of your backyard. If you want to feel like owning Taal for a day, come here!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay of pure rest and relaxation at Nuuk. All the staff are friendly and very attentive to our needs. Wifi is strong, food is delicious (really love their complimentary breads of different varieties), enjoyed our daily al fresco breakfast with views of Taal Lake and volcano. We also got to bring our pet along. Nuuk just became one of our favorite out of town destination and we cant wait to be back!

Plus points... -The resort has the most astonishing vantage point of Taal Lake volcano. -Travelling from north is not that exhausting with the interconnected NLEX, Skyway, SLEX and STAR tollways. -Security of guests is hands down. -No delays during dine-in service. Opportunities... We came all the way from North Luzon and we were welcomed by a stiff concierge. Seems too high strung. Resort staff are quite reserved. Menu is pretty decent except that the risotto is a little bit under seasoned.

Great place for a family vacation. Very cozy, great service, meals are very delicious. Its right at the coast of Taal lake, and the view is very nice. Furthermore, its more of a family place so not many people and very quiet. Suitable for family time and relaxation.

Nuuk is unlike any hotel or getaway experience I have ever had within the Philippines before. Staff, food, management, interiors, decor, scenery, landscaping, art, amenities and the view are all beyond! It’s unique Nordic and Filipino inspired concept creates a magical atmosphere- and the convenience of its close proximity to Manila makes it all more worth the while to visit. We try to escape Manila to Nuuk any chance we get.

The safety of their guests and staff is important to them hence, sanitation is a serious business. Everything is disenfected and UVlight treated. I especially love the crisp, fresh sheets👍🏼Caveat1: they (rapid) test atleast 1 representative of every social bubble using your “laway”😬 The property is so private you wouldn’t worry of outsiders mingling with you during your stay. Members of their staff will keep a good distance from you but quick to respond whenever help is needed. They even provided walkie-talkies in case you’ll get bored (char!). It’s like having personal butlers😁 Food is superb and served the 5 star way👍🏼I think their menu is Halal certified, too so no pork. caveat2: food is not cheap☺️ Whether you just want to chill by the pool, read a book by the garden nook, play ping-pong or just “lounge” away your time, you’ll never run out of things to do and enjoy with your family♥️

This is such an awesome find! The boutique hotel is very elegant and pretty. Our room is spacious, beautiful, and tidy. Complimentary breakfast is delicious and filling. We loved all that we ordered for dinner in their restaurant. The view from the main villa, the pool, and al fresco dining areas is spectacular! The volcano is at a striking distance. And the staff- they are at your service every step of the way. It felt like having personal butlers as there was always someone handing you an umbrella, giving you water, or asking you if you had any needs. It’s one of the best vacays we have ever had! Come and see for yourself!

GORGEOUS PLACE WITH AMAZING VIEW, BEAUTIFUL ROOM AND SERVICE! ♡ It was such a heavenly place. Everything was perfect. :) The whole hotel is not that big so it feels very homey and gets pretty quiet at night so you don't have to worry about any noise. It's a bit on the pricey side, but highly recommend for a romantic trip outside of town!

Spent a night in this hotel. Love the location - great view of Taal Volcano and lake. Rooms were clean cozy. Bathrooms were large and modern. Water pressure was strong always. Service was impeccable- staff was always available to help. Only problem was it being a little too pricey. But if you want a good place, wonderful surroundings , great service , good food and willing to pay - this is a great place to visit

Stunning view of Taal, astonishing interior for the hotel finish. The Details are really well Done. For the food, I tried Margherita Pizza and Juice and i would say its spot on! Planning to stay overnight next time. This place is really worth the travel specially if you want to disconnect from the city buzz.

This beautiful boutique hotel is located in Laurel, Batangas. Special thanks to the management and staff of Nuuk Taal. We had booked a room a month before but because of an unforeseen event, we had to reschedule our reservation. Management was easy to talk to and was very accommodating with our request. There was just some hiccups in the email exchanges but was easily settled via phone/viber. We only stayed overnight and it was a short but fun stay. They have 8 suites and are all air conditioned. Breakfast is complimentary. They also serve lunch and dinner served at their Ilulli Restaurant. It is advisable to give your orders a few hours before (for breakfast, better to give your orders the night before). The room we stayed in was clean and nice and can easily accommodate 6 adults. The Infinity Pool’s water was warm and very relaxing, with Taal volcano as the backdrop. Of course, there’s free wifi. There is also accommodation for your driver if you decide not to drive. All in all, it’s one of the best not so hidden gem in Batangas. It’s just an hour and a half drive from Manila. Two-thumbs up!

Seriously, just book the room, drop a pin to Nuuk Taal Lake Boutique Hotel on Google Maps and go! We really needed a break from the NCR and this place was the answer. The attentive team really took care of us. The dinner and breakfast were amazing. Sitting by the infinity pool and walks along the lake were so relaxing. Be warned, the hotel wi-fi is slow, but turned out to be a good thing as we turned off our devices and just enjoyed the day.
