Church Panagia Angeloktisti means ‘built by angels’ in Greek was built over the ruins of an Early Christian basilica (6th century). This church is an important landmark in Larnaca. A must visit!

Beautiful piece of bizantine art with some elements from the crusader period. The mosaic in the apse is so beautiful that, as I was told by an older man/guide inside the church, it must have been done by angels. Well worth visiting.

A small historic church with a large pretty park around it. You can have a good time there seeing the old icons. There is a small cafeteria with drinks.

A very spiritual place to visit. Considering the mosaic of The Holy Virgin is 1,600 years old!! The trees date from 700 years. A must visit while in Cyprus.

Very nice old church. I haven't met any tourists, which makes it even more unique. Beautiful little park behind it. Very easy to get to, just one minute walk from the bus stop, where buses from larnaca run every hour or so.

This church is well worth the visit. Depending on the tour bus schedule, it is quiet. The local shop owner is friendly and helpful. If you like Byzantine history, it is well worth a visit.

Lovely restored ancient church. Good parking and adjacent cafés. Lots of history and the glass floor sections show the historical stones.

The church is old classic Greek orthodox church, and the park on the side makes it even better and the big parking on the front makes it easier for you

Beautiful old church, inside and out with no photo restrictions. And only a short drive from Larnaca. There are cafes and bars bear by for a well earned break.

Worth to see, free entrance and parking.

Very nice, old church, you need to visit it. There is a beautiful park around it.

When we stopped, it was a wedding and unfortunately we couldn't enter the church too much, we just lit a candle. I liked the fact that it has a very large park in the back, with a lot of greenery and I also liked that in the yard they have a small shop, where you can find souvenirs, but also soft drinks, coffee, natural juice and water, and the gentleman there , was very kind. I was impressed by the size of the old tree in the yard, which has props to support its weight and age.
