6 of us from San Diego Land Rover club enjoyed the trails in Joshua Tree NP and then stayed with Rosemarie at her excellent campground. The fire pit and bar area was super nice for relaxing and sharing stories of the day. Rosemarie was a great host. Thanks!

Seriously this space is a magical gem hidden in the desert. Staying here you have showers, cell service, a fully equipped kitchen, lots of places to lounge in the shade and at night fire pits with free fire wood. The landowner and host Rose is extremely kind-hearted. One of the sweetest women I've come to meet during my time on the road, providing travelers with an inexpensive sanctuary to rest in-between travels. This place is a must-stay. An added bonus is the incredible wildlife you see around the property. Prime spot for birders! 💗💗💗

We arrived at night after Joshua Tree was fully booked. We were not sure if there would be availabilities. Rose Marie happened to be waiting for other guests and found a space for us. I found the property to be charming. I wish I could have stayed longer but we were just passing through. I would come back though.

This place is full of art and great vibes. The cabin has a heated bed and is very comfy. It has a feel of home that is amazing to come home to after a long day of taking in the sights. There is a platform it is on that is perfect for yoga. Many areas to sit and sip hot tea with friends or a good book. Great for get togethers or gets some alone time.

As a solo traveler, I look at value and safety; both of which this place have! I truly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to a friend. The campground is eclectic, made up of a plethora of recycled and reused materials. The common areas are abundant and include fire pits, a bar, several tables/chairs and even comfy laying-out chairs! I had the pleasure of staying in the tent cabin and it was wonderful. Nice airflow during the day, and a heating pad for the cooler evenings. The compost toilet was new to me, but I was pleasantly surprised with how un-stinky it was! The hot shower was also a nice touch. Hosts on site, along with Rosemarie, were very pleasant. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Me and my husband came to this place a couple years ago to explore. This place is unique and beautiful in its own way. The owner was so nice and great to talk to. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool place.

Warning: Safety Hazards at Campsite Desert Rose Collective As a long-time outdoor enthusiast and dog owner, it's with a heavy heart and a sense of duty that I share an alarming encounter at Campsite Desert Rose Collective. This venue, which promises peace and relaxation in the Palm Springs desert, instead presented a nightmare scenario. During what was meant to be a serene escape, my senior dog and I were subjected to a horrifying attack by two large, unrestrained dogs, introduced onto the premises by an acquaintance of the owner. These dogs, with a history of aggression, inflicted serious wounds on my pet and left me with physical injuries and deep-seated trauma. The ferocity of the attack and the owner's lax oversight on such known threats is deeply concerning. The aftermath was a scene of chaos, with my dog desperately fleeing into the desert night bleeding and terrified, and me, bruised and bleeding, in pursuit. The potential danger this poses to any visitor, especially those with children, is chilling to contemplate. I shudder to think of the consequences had my daughter, often donned in a playful puppy costume, been in attendance. It is not without reluctance that I find myself advising against a visit to this establishment. No charm or amenity can compensate for a blatant disregard for basic guest safety. This incident was not merely unfortunate but a clear indication of gross negligence. Until comprehensive safety measures are visibly implemented and enforced, I implore potential visitors to prioritize their well-being and seek alternative locations for their desert adventures.

Really great campground. We enjoyed our stay there. The communal kitchen and fire pits are a nice addition!
