As of 8/23/2021, Edge steakhouse is closed. However they do offer part of their menu here at State Fare! We got the Australian wagyu, which tastes really mediocre with very meaty flavor. With such a simple plating, we are expecting more complex flavor, but that didn’t really happen. We also got a jidori chicken with brocollini and mashed potato; brocollini was on the saltier side but the waiter was kind enough to offer a redo, which came out very tasty. Truffle fries were also yummy 👍 We got three cocktails and only one of them tastes good, which is the berry with Prosecco. The other two (one with pear and one with lavender) were okay, not really worth the $$. Service was impeccable! We came back here for the breakfast and everything was delicious 😊 especially the huevos rancheros!

What a beautiful settings this place offers. Indoor or outdoors the accommodations are pleasant, chill out music is perfect for the mood. The menu is enough to please anyone. Breathtaking views overlooking the area below. The weather seems perfect at night as well. Definitely recommend to make a trip even if you do not stay at Ritz Carlton.

Staying at the Ritz for a few nights (a wonderful thing to say) and for convenience we chose to dine on property tonight, which means State Fare since The Edge Steakhouse is closed for the season. It’s a very large, open restaurant with a bar and large flat screen playing sports at the North end. Our service was quick and everyone we encountered was very polite. I chose the Watermelon salad to start and although I wish it had more watermelon in terms of quantity, it was still very tasty and I would order it again. For my entree I chose the Chilean Seabass and it was lovely. I was worried the Tikka sauce was going to be overpowering, but it wasn’t. It almost tasted like Old Bay seasoning to me. I would order that dish again as well. Overall a good meal and I would dine here again happily.

This place is very good the service is awesome. Alan did a great job with service anything you needed he was there to help out. Definitely recommend the crispy shrimp it was very good. Unfortunately my wife had to send her porkchop back twice because it was way too raw. We have also been here for breakfast and it was very good. Also the bread was extremely good

Had a superb breakfast here to start the day off. Feeling totally relaxed and gastronomically satisfied. The place is clean, the staff are friendly but not intrusive and the food is fresh and tasty. We had a relaxed meal and recommend a visit.

Whether or not you are staying at the Ritz Carlton, you should give State Fare Bar & Kitchen a try. I recently stayed for five nights and have tried almost everything on the menu - you can't go wrong! Food: Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Ordered the Lobster Roll Sandwich with Fries for the first time. Chilled Maine Lobster, Roasted Garlic Aioli, Chives, on a Split Brioche Bun - this rich and delicious sandwich was perfectly served with french fries. I have had the State Fare Prime Burger at least five times and I love it. Hopscotch Cheddar, Onion-Bacon Jam, Aioli, Arugula, on a Pretzel Bun - this tasty burger will leave you feeling completely satisfied. Service: The hostess and servers, Genevieve, Crystal and Jonathan, who delivered the food and took a great memory photo, went out of their way to ensure a 5-star experience. The order was timely taken, we were seated at a table with a lovely view, pictured below, and the food was served timely as well. Ambiance: Relaxed and casual environment, but you can get dressed up if you like - just make sure everyone in your party gets the memo. Parking: valet parking only, unless you can find free parking at the bottom of Frank Sinatra drive and hike up the hill - it is literally a hike so I recommend valet parking. I highly recommend this restaurant! Shout out to Genevieve, Crystal and Jonathan who went out of their way to ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience!

I'd compare the food to just about any other chain restaurant (think olive garden, outback steakhouse, etc.) NOT UP TO PAR WITH WHAT ONE WOULD EXPECT FROM "THE RITZ-CARLTON". Upon arrival we were greeted by atrocious dirty lounge chairs in the main entrance (valet area) Everyone's main course was ho-hum, nothing stood out flavor wise & was quite forgettable. The best part of the meal was our appetizer (fried Avocado) hard to mess up. The desserts were sickening sweet.

Had a wonderful overall experience at State Fare Bar & Kitchen, which is located within the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage. We had what was probably the best hummus dish ever. The desserts were amazing, and our server was out of this world. You can't beat the overall experience at this restaurant. We highly recommend it!

We had a great time. Spot is perfect but the food is sub par. You don't get this view at Outback, but the food is better at Outback as a comparison. Great service and great ambiance. A NY strip is $100. A bit pricey for what you get.

Fair prices (surprisingly), friendly wait staff, extremely attentive and the turkey sandwich with egg was insanely good. Going back here every year now. Iced tea was infused and different but worth trying.

Celebrated my birthday at State Fare Bar & Kitchen. Thank you a memorable, amazing, and perfect evening. The Service was phenomenal, thank you Alan. The dinner was off the charts. Every course was total perfection in presentation and taste. I could not have asked for a more ideal birthday dinner!

The dining experience at the Ritz-Carlton's signature restaurant State Fare Bar & Kitchen is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that perfectly complements the breathtaking views through expansive windows overlooking the scenic surroundings. The setting manages to be both opulent and comfortable, providing a sophisticated backdrop for the culinary journey ahead. And let's not forget the impeccable service; attentive but unobtrusive, the staff elevates the entire dining experience, ensuring that your every need is met. Dining here isn't just a meal; it's an unforgettable experience that pairs gastronomic excellence with panoramic vistas, making for an outing that satisfies on every level. A visit to this restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton is, without a doubt, an indulgence well worth the splurge.

Our server Rafael was AMAZING. The star of the day. We are so glad we got to spend time w him. Food also great. I was having some anxiety and ordered off menu for my favorite comfort meal and they were able to accommodate. Casually nice. Prices are ritz prices so you know what to expect.

We are locals but love to come up to the Ritz Carlton for a snack or a drink. We bring lots of visitors here. State Fare Bar and Kitchen is part of the Ritz Carlton property. It sits on a hill so the view in the evening is beautiful. There is lots of outside seating along with inside seating and the bar areas. You can get a delicious burger or chicken sandwich along with a lot of other items. We always get great service and leave content.

Ate here today for lunch (they don’t do a brunch menu, fyi), and it was tasty to boot, my Bloody Mary was also delicious. You’re in the Ritz, and will pay Ritz prices. I had the brunch burger (for $32), and our wonderful waiter Rafael let my friend order an omelette off-menu. He was really the star of the lunch for me. So friendly and warm, funny, great service. I would go back.

I have been to State Fare several times, always for lunch. The service is usually outstanding & they have some great local beer options. I wish there was a little more variety on the menu, but I've been very pleased with my choices (great burger).

Stopped by for lunch at State Fare. Salad and prime burger were great. Service was outstanding as well. Most of all, the view out from patio was just wonderful.

As my girlfriend is Canadian and hasn't ever been up to see the view of the valley from here we went and enjoyed a cocktail and of course the view from the patio. The staff are tremendous and they make sure everything is just right but they are not overwhelming you either. If you haven't been you need to go and of course you will want to return many times.

Awesome place to have mid-afternoon drink in outstanding environment. Valet parking is complimentary. Each and every staff member was engaging and welcoming. Drinks aren't cheap, but you are paying for more than the drink. Keep up the good work.

Omg. This stop was life changing! The food was absolutely fantastic. So fantastic that we ordered room service 3 times over our 5 day stay. Everything we ordered was amazing. The steak, crispy shrimp, nachos, pasta bar, cheesecake, all of it. Absolutely amazing. Keep up the phenomenal job, and please deliver to Orlando.

This space is incredible. Materials are quality. The dramatic uplighting in the ceiling and decision to celebrate the dramatic texture of the fireproofing and use of color are an incredible pairing for the panoramic desert landscape visible just outside. The varied choice of seating arrangements gives the guest a wide variety of experiences from a standard yet comfortable four-top, to various quiet booths oriented to capitalize on the adjacent views. There is even an enclosed ‘fish-bowl’ dining room that allows intimacy while also not obstructing views. The kitchen is enclosed in glass with aplomb. This connects the guest with a direct connection to the food being prepared. As for service, we were blessed with one of the most delightful and helpful individuals in the service industry, Raphael. He was an absolute joy and helped foster a lively mood in an already wonderful space. The food was nice.
