Carl's Jr might win the dubious award for the worst food in California! If you have even a vague interest in dietary requirements, their menu reads like a nuclear waste site of dietary disaster. The only reasonable item I could find was the grilled chicken salad. This half-hearted attempt at healthy food was a pile of iceberg lettuce, scoop of grated cheese, two tomato slices, two red onion slices and a dried out overcooked chicken breast. I threw most of it away. Might as well just give up and get the Bacon Western Cheeseburger, it will kill you in the end, but at least it tastes good. If it matters, the restaurant was clean, the employees were helpful and there was a nice outdoor seating area and a large play place.

My favorite item on the Carl Jr. menu is the Western Bacon Cheeseburger. The Carl's Jr. Redwood City location is very spacious, clean and usually not too busy. I hope this Carl location never goes out of business because nearby is In/Out Burger and Chick-fil-A.

The quality of the food when down. Not sure if I will come back. The guacamole of the #8 was brown and it didn't taste good

I ordered my kids This old disgusting food you can zoom in to the pictures I was so upset I didn’t even take pictures of the hard rock fries! If I could Rate zero stars I would. I told the manager and he said no we don’t serve old food but he wanted to replace it never again will I visit Carl’s Jr. in Redwood City again….

I used to love to eat at Carl's Jr.....when I was in junior high. I liked the food then. Now? It's really not that good. Maybe I'm old fashioned but, Carl's Jr. has seen better days. I've aged better then they have. They do have good milkshakes and free water.

I’m a little surprised this place is isn’t packed. I try out fast food from time to time all up and down the mid Peninsula and this is by far been the best. I guess due to the fact that it’s not very busy here, the place is spotless, including the restrooms. The food is made carefully and impeccably, and the staff is super friendly and we had a nice little chat while we were waiting for the food. I hope they’re busier or I was just here on a down day because I hate to see this please close. I’m hard to please and this place shocked me. Anybody that owns fast food in the region should come and take a look and see how it should be done.

Late night. I had to keep repeating my order. I normally check my order before leaving. It was late and I was tired. My son was waiting at home from Surgery. I got home and my Double Bacon Cheese Burgers were MUSHY SINGLE SLOPPY BURGERS. One had bacon. The soda tasted like the machine hadn't been cleaned! (Mango/Cream of Soda flavor, isn't on the Menu! $24.00 for a late night MESS. This is when I question in giving ALL Fast Food Workers a Living wage? I really want to go back and get a Refund! I did not eat the mess. My Hungry Son picked around the mess. The dog wouldn't eat it! I think I will go back and let the Owner know? Thanks for having a Tracker/GPS that reminded me how (put out) I was! This came to my phone BIG BROTHER .

Inflation is crazy, fries were payed on pretty lightly in a large combo order. Food was still good as we were hungry

The order came up super fast and the staff was great as always but the chicken sandwich was really grizzly.

This Carl's Jr is just as good as the other ones I visit and I find the food to be cooked well, presented well and the waffle fries are always hot. I find the drive-thru at this particular location to be slightly curvy, so it's not a straight shot through. Stay alert as you pull through, especially if you have a huge vehicle. It wouldn't stop me from coming to this location but some may appreciate knowing this.

Van, our cashier and order taker is very thorough and friendly. After taking our order, she read our order back to us perfectly. Our food was packaged and prepared exactly and it was HOT!! Thank you Van for the exceptional customer service, you are a "ROCK STAR"!!!!

Had a good conversation with the guy Brady working the drive thru window. Even though he works multiple jobs, and only slept a couple hours, he was very personable, friendly and polite. I respect the young man.

Remarkably good for fast food. Burger was fresh and juicy. Restaurant was clean.

The food is good but the prices are outrageous! It was $17.99 for one bacon burger meal, like I said, it was good but not worth $18 good.

Been going here for 25 years. I used to work up the street @ Veterans Square. Been going since back when the seats were booths and there was glass separating the tables...diner style, the good days!

Quiet place to eat , staff were motivated, laughing a lot

The fries were amazing!!! They were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the inside with the right amount of salt… they were perfectly cooked with the right amount of time!!! The fries were so good!!! I was surprised myself when I had the first bite, so I went for a second bite to make sure.. to my surprise I couldn’t stop thinking how delicious the fries tasted!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Walked in on a Tuesday around 2pm with the family, it was empty. The response from the manager in Spanish was ‘Darn, there’s a customer here and I was so comfortable’. We brushed it off. What was irritating was that in the middle of taking our order she heard a ding that there was a driver-tru customer and she turns says “just a minute” and proceeds to start taking the drive-tru customers order! Not even an “excuse me” we stood there waiting for a few minutes while she took their entire order, we were outraged and were going to say something, but decided to just take our business elsewhere. We barely dine at Carl’s Jr, and with this experience we won’t be back to this location.

Lots of space to eat here. They take your order in a timely manner and bring it out to your table pretty fast.
