Definitely among my top 3 favorite city parks that I've ever been to. While the open areas and kids' playground section are quite nice, what I like most about Carson Park is that there's also a ton of lakeside pathways and patches of woods to explore! And let's not forget about all of the wildlife as well!

This was my first time at the ballpark and it was fantastic! The stadium has aged well, and the Toppers Deck was a great experience. I would definitely come back again!

Went down to Carson on a warm October Sunday while the leaves were at their most vibrant stage. I went to lay in a hammock to catch up on some things for work and it was very relaxing .It was nice to so so many people our walking the trails, jogging, kayaking, fishing, celebrating with family and friends or just sitting and enjoying their lunch.

Carson Park is one of my favorite parks to visit, especially in the fall. They're such beautiful scenery and wonderfully maintained walking trails and park grounds. Take a little visit today. It's worth it. Take a break out of your day and smell the fresh air and enjoy nature at its finest. One of Eau Claire's treasures, and it's so easy to get to. There's also opportunities to enjoy Moon Lake as well. It will definitely add a positive to your day!

Amazing park, lots of structures to entertain, nice mature trees and plenty of shade...Just make sure you are prepared for Ants. I've never seen so many ant hills. And there is also big black ants to. I would be afraid to picnic here. But the play structures were worth it and the benches by them were safe. Lol ..

Been going to Carson Park since I was a child. The playground I used to play on as a child has been upgraded and looks like a blast. The trails are easy and the perfect length for a walk after work. Plenty of parking spaces and things to do here, including picnicking, canoeing or kayaking, swimming, fishing, etc.

Eau Claire is very lucky to have such a beautiful and historic venue to watch a baseball game at. Personally I enjoy the Fan Deck and its all you can eat features. But no matter where you sit it's like a time machine for baseball lovers.

Beautiful park to visit and down by the water just sitting on the benches is my favorite. Its calm and everyone is friendly. So many activities in a super clean environment. My happy place is at Carson Park!

Great place to have a picnic or to go for a bike ride or a walk. They have a couple play grounds for kids to play on and multiple different spots for fishing. There is also a couple places around where you can go kayaking. The eau claire baseball stadium is also here, they have many games during spring and they are quite cheap to get into. Overall I would highly reccomend going here for a good time. 👍

Wonderful family park, always fun to see how it gets renovated over the years, still have the giant slides I always went down as a child myself. Highly recommend

Great baseball field for the Eau Claire Express. Excellent family outing. 4th of July is also a great time to go.!

There is lots to do here, many options for different developmental stages and inclusivity. My kids really like the story walk that the library has here too. The only problem with this park is that it is pretty large so it can be hard to keep track of kids since it tends to be busy here. Also, be aware that if it's a really sunny day the play ground can get super hot because of the black crumb rubber on part of the play ground.

The park that has it all! Museums, baseball, and hiking. Great place for a family adventure!

Great ballpark. Old fashioned vintage covered grandstand from the 40’s, maybe earlier lots of creative ticket packages reasonably priced. Various Party decks and tons of great seats with fantastic views. Hank Aaron played there!!! The Eau Claire express offer a 5 game pack which includes AYCE food for 90 minutes for each game in your pack, a free team Jersey, a BOBBLEHEAD, and a generous exchange policy if you can’t make a game in your pack. All for $80 - WOW

Nice park. Nice variety of things to do, including taking in a ballgame or the kids to a playground, or get some fishing or biking or hiking in. Nice area for get togethers too. You know, Carson Park kinda has it all. Huh. Never realized that before. It can get a lil busy at times though.

We love going to Carson park! There is so much to do there. Sunday afternoons during the summer we love the train rides! Cooler summer days we love the playground! It’s great fun for my 2 and 3 year old. We’ve also loved fishing at half moon lake.

The playground was awesome. Really big and so much different things to do. The zipline and rope/rubber walking was neat. Even the adults were doing the zipline. They even had musical instruments too. We drove around the island and it had all sorts of places to adventure. People were biking, fishing, relaxing in hammocks, and eating at the plethora of picnic tables. So much to do, so little time.

What an amazing park. Looking for a place to have a nice picnic while on a road trip we found Carson Park. The playground was fantastic and had so much to offer. Many big and little slides, a Zipline, a rocking boat,a see saw, and so many climbing structures. Highly recommend!

Very nice park that has been around for a long time. It has a number of baseball and softball fields as well as walking or biking paths and roads to drive on. It is very scenic with little Half Moon Lake and the Eau Claire river close by.

The trails are very nice, one area overlooks the river. The playground is big and has plenty of activities for kids. There is also a large field with a few pavilions scattered through, lots of benches, and several trees that make the park feel really cozy. This is a spot i like to go for short walks and to take my kids to play.

Great local park, big playground that has very recently been renovated. Enjoy some great views all along the banks of half moon lake, which wraps around the entire park, along with some fairly challenging cliff trails; be very careful on these trails, they are mostly sandstone and the dirt and fallen leaves become very slick after it rains. I also recommend that you check out the Paul Bunyan logging camp as well as the Chippewa Valley museum, there you can learn about the history of Eau Claire and the surrounding Chippewa Valley region. Oh and Last, but certainly not least, you can take a ride on the Chippewa Valley miniature railroad, weather permitting of course but it's awesome and well worth the cost of admission!

We loved it! There are so many activities for the kids and adults to do. The trails are fun to explore and the views of the river are just breathtaking. The bathrooms are well maintained. The kids (both big and small) love going to Carson Park to ride their bikes, play on the playground, check out the trails, and have picnics. There is always something new to discover when we go.

Beautiful scenery. Play area with swings for kids. Benches along the waters edge to sit and enjoy the view. Wasn't crowded. There is a parking lot. Close to Eau Claire Campus.

Beautiful park! We walked with our dog around the peninsula via a lovely road. Early fall colors and views of Half Moon Lake through the trees were fantastic! The kids’ park is the best I’ve ever seen! There’s plenty of free parking in a massive parking lot nearby, next to the baseball stadium. There’s Brauns Bay nearby for boat launching. (I’ve only seen kayaks/canoes there before. Don’t know if motored boats are permitted.) Parking is limited there.

Went to see my man Hammerin' Hank Aaron! Grew up watching him play for the Milwaukee braves. He had two great years with the Eau Claire Bears
