Lived here for 1 year. 6.2020 through 6.2021. I thought it was pretty decent for the most part. Pros: The rooms were big and ample closet space. Close to the water and shopping. They have upgraded some of the grounds there so it feels nicer. It is fairly quiet and safe. Maintenance always addressed issues in a timely manner. Office staff were nice. Fairly clean. Third Floor has a Vaulted Ceiling in the Living and Dining Room. Cons: What I didn't like was the lack of parking at night. There aren't that many spaces for the amount of parking spaces. Often, I had to go around a few times to find one. I think they should assign at least one parking space per apartment. Also, I didn't like that you had to run the water for like 10 minutes before it became warm. How are we supposed to conserve water? Not a lot of cabinet space and they stick so it was a struggle to open them. Dated appliances. The trims are dark wood, which also dates the place. You have to pay a service fee to pay your rent online. They charge for water & sewer separately in addition to gas and electricity.

So disappointed in how downhill this place has gone. Big annual price increases, while nothing ever gets updated, rent dates and policy changed without notice, paper-thin walls. Condos in area are similar cost I am researching, but so much more included... so it doesn't make sense why a subpar 1 bedroom would be 1111$ that hasn't been remodeled in 14 years.. Tracey is nice, but the establishment is just out for money with no ones interest in mind. Run while you can...

I lived at Windsor place for a year. It was my boyfriend and I and our dog Bandit, From June 2021-June 2022 Pros: 1.The rooms were big and spacious. I liked that I had room for some new things after I moved in. 2. The area was beautiful to be around. I always saw deer coming home from work and other animals. 3. I never really had any issues with the neighbors they were all pretty friendly. 4. It was convenient that there was stores around so I didn’t have to go that far to get groceries. Cons: 1. First off my apartment was not really clean when I had moved in. And the appliances I already knew I was going to have issues with. They looked outdated and used way too much. My gas stove was practically falling apart on some parts. I rented the washer and dryer from them and the dryer half worked. My clothes would take 3 times to be completely dry. 2. I ALWAYS had issues with parking. Most of the time I had to park beside the garages and one day I got a note on my car about it. But where else am I supposed to park? On the road? I would constantly see people in the parking lot that were just visiting or from out of town. I feel like they should have those visitors park somewhere else. Because some of them stayed for weeks on end and I knew they did not live in my building. (I knew this because I spoke to some of them). Also, in the winter I don’t think it was ideal for the plowers to just pile snow in 2-3 parking spaces. That just made it even more difficult to park, one day I parked beside the garage because, there was no spaces available and that resulted in the plow truck hitting my car. 3. My AC had broken while I was out of town one week in the summer and I currently had someone staying at my apartment so I called to let them know it needed to be fixed and all was well so far. My friend said they came to fix it and it kicked on and turned back off. So when I returned home I confirmed what my friend had told me. There wasn’t even air coming out. Called again. They said they would send someone to fix it. 4 DAYS later they decide to show up. And of course this had to be the hottest month of the summer. The told me it was fixed and everything was working correctly, my AC was STILL not working. It was then 92 degrees in my apartment even with the windows open at NIGHT. My dog was panting so bad I had to end up staying at my parents for that weekend which was in Geneva because I was not going to let myself nor my animal sit in that heat. They came for the FOURTH time. Said it was fixed and again no it wasn’t. It’s been 3 weeks at this time and I could barley enjoy being home. I had to end up buying a $500 standing air conditioner just so I could sleep in my apartment. Even though we are not even supposed to have any type of window units they kind of left me with no choice. They finally fixed it the right way the fifth time they came. My electric bill was THROUGH THE ROOF just from it being turned on and back off. I’m talking $150 more than it usually is. I was VERY disappointed after all this happened because I got no apology just attitude. 4. My mom and I spent 4-5 days cleaning my apartment before move out. There was a stain on the carpet in the living room because when my nephew had visited he spilled something. However I cleaned it right up and I tried my hardest to clean it up. However it just wasn’t working out. Then as we were shampooing the carpets it ripped the carpet in the spare bedroom doorway. I advised management about it and told them it was not there until I took the carpet cleaner over it and once I realized I avoided that area. They charged me UP THE BUTT for the carpet maintenance after I moved out. Took my ENTIRE security deposit for my 2 bedroom apartment and I STILL have to pay them money. They said it was from “pet urine damage” I’m sorry but my dog has never used the bathroom in that apartment. He was in his kennel the hours I was at work or went somewhere. Never left unattended while out. He’s fully TRAINED. (Service animal) Because of limited characters. Overall I will never stay here again.

I moved here about a week ago and I have to say that I am very impressed with my entire experience. When I first applied for an apartment at Windsor Place the staff was friendly and professional. Responses to questions online were prompt. The apartments are absolutely beautiful. I am thoroughly enjoying the space in my apartment. The building is clean. The apartment is clean. About 99% of the time I feel like I'm living in a space bubble because it's so quiet, which is perfect for me because I work from home. The neighborhood is also great! I've lived in apartments in both NYC and the Cleveland area. I have to say Windsor Place is by far the best apartment complex I've lived in. I highly recommend it! Five stars!

My experience with Windsor Apartments has been an absolutely amazing!!! As a recent college graduate, I was nervous taking this huge step in choosing my future home. As soon as I left my tour of the apartment complex, I knew I found the right place to call my home. Tracey was absolutely incredible to work with and was so helpful throughout the whole process. Tracey and Nikki do an amazing job taking care of any situations that come up and they make sure it gets taken care as soon as possible. The apartment complex is always super clean and well taken care of. Tom from maintaince was super helpful with taking care of my dish washer when it broke and replaced my dishwasher within a few days (Tracey made sure I was aware before signing that the appliances were older and that if anything should happen, they will be replaced right away). I came from an apartment that was anything but helpful with a shady property manager. I am so grateful for having an amazing property manager like Tracey, and I so happy to call Windsor my first home!

She is such a sweetheart I absolutely love Nikki for being so kind and always helping me with anything I need . I am so glad I just renewed my lease and that is all thanks to Nikki for her wonderful service, like you can truly tell that she loves her job. Tom the Maintnence guy is awesome everytime I have a problem in my apartment he is very quick with fixing the problems. My bf and I rented a 2-bed apartment at Windsor for 3 years, and we had a FANTASTIC experience! Tracey is a wonderful office manager and was always happy to answer questions. The maintenance team is prompt and friendly, no job was too small. The apartment itself was clean, good natural light and the kitchen / storage space was all a great size for the rent price. We even had a dishwasher and vaulted ceilings! Highly recommended. Thanks so much for having us, Windsor.

My husband and I lived here for 5 years and we had no issues. Anytime we called for a service request, it was completed in a timely manner. The office would call after the service request was completed just to make sure we were taken care of, which was very nice. There was the occasional annoying neighbor, but that's to be expected in apartment living. We would've probably stayed longer if they had three bedroom apartments, but with our growing family we needed more space. I do recommend these to anyone who needs a 2 bedroom.
