ALL THE NEGATIVE POST YOU ON THEIR REVIEWS ARE 💯💯💯TRUE. All these people giving skaff apartment a 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 star are probably a staff member, friends, family or they get paid to post. I came in from out of town, before I sign my lease I point out the carpets, windows and some repairs that need to be done. They agreed and I call 2days before I moved in to be sure. When I moved in nothing was fixed. I didn't used my AC during the summer. I didn't used my heat during the winter. If I tried to use it my electric bill will be from $200-300 per month. Don't moved into the buildings on 24th Ave South in moorhead. They are bad news. OH and just forget your deposit when you are moving out. 😭😭😭😭😜😡😡😡😡🤯🤯😓😓😫😫😫.

I lived here for 2 years. There was problems with them coming in whiteout us home when we specifically told them they were not allowed to do. Now we have moved out and just got the deposit 3 months later and they charged us for paint when I had specifically asked if we would get charged for a small scuff and that said no. So they charged me to paint the unit for the next people. Also I cleaned the place top to bottom pulled out the fridge, stove, ext and was charged a 70$ 2 hour cleaning fee. I told the lady I have a video I cleaned everything on their list. They said there was toothpaste in the sink (I have a picture showing there wasn't) and the plug in fixtures were not cleaned. I said that's worth 2 hours of cleaning? No way. She threatened me and said well if you want I can charge you 120$ MORE for paint and they would take the cleaning off. I can not believe the way I was treated and I'm thinking it is because my race. Minnesota law they have to give your your deposit back in 21 days. I moved out September 29th and got it back December 16th. The excuse was they kept losing my address when I have it to them before move out and then 3 times after that when I kept calling asking where the deposit is.

My boyfriend and I have been renting our apartment with Skaff in S Moorhead for over a year. We love how spacious it is! We rent a large two bedroom, two bathroom with a two stall garage. The washer and dryer being in the unit has been amazing as well as having access to a public one on our floor. I am not a fan of galley kitchens however this one isn't as narrow. We have lots of storage space, which is not common! The office as well as maintenance staff have been amazing! Our building is nice and quiet. This has been very important as we have a young child. The only downside is how close we are to I-94 so when we open windows we hear the traffic. We have grown used to it and mostly do not mind it. We plan to stay living here for years to come.

If I’m taking the time out of my busy life to write something positive then that’s saying something! Everyone I’ve dealt with from Skaff has been great! My apartment building is well maintained and kept clean. Anytime I’ve needed anything they have gotten back to me very quickly. This is my second time renting from them and both times have been great.

Skaff apartments was an amazing rental property to work with! They have been one of the few places that were willing to let me rent with them knowing that i have a criminal record. They are super friendly and just all around very good people and their places are super nice! Rent is very affordable no matter how many bedrooms or the size of the place you are looking for. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you Skaff Apartments for being who you are and being willing to take a chance on me and giving people in the community a second chance when A LOT of places are not willing to do that! Keep up the great work!

Very affordable apartments. Also really friendly employees and able to work with you! My dishwasher was a little old. Ask maintenance to fix it and he said let’s just see if we can get you a new one and they did! I’ve had some nasty landlords with attitude and like to ignore there tenants! Definitely, appreciate that it doesn’t happen with staff.

The apartment that me and my roommate moved into was a really nice apartment with all new flooring! We never had problems with anything breaking but the windows were very old and crafty so they let a lot of cold air in the winter. The snow removal was pretty bad our parking lot was covered in at least 3 inches of ice at one point and stayed that way the rest of the winter because it did not get cleared within the day if it snowing. That wasn’t such a big issue for me but when we moved out they took almost all our deposit and gave us 17 dollars back! We deep cleaned the place and they said it wasn’t up to skaffs standards! We also got all the carpets steam cleaned! So that took over 200 of our deposit! Not super impressed by the moving out. We also called multiple times to get our recycle bin back and that never happened I even called the city about it and they said Skaff would have to deal with it! It was a nice apartment to live in but some of the other issues got to be a little annoying!

I love my apartment! I'm going on 2 years now and I cannot imagine being anywhere else. Since day one they have been on top of fixing everything I asked. The tenant portal is so nice and easy to use I never have to worry about my rent being late. Around 9 months into my lease they made the washer/dryers FREE! I almost died of shock. They just replaced the flooring in the hallways and put in a brand new security cameras. Did I mention they painted an accent wall for me when I asked? They did. Free. I love it! The housekeeping is phenomenal! The hallways and entries are always pristine. The young man does a wonderful job. They have already been out cleaning up the yards and they keep the areas atound the dumpsters neat. Thats a huge deal for me. They were so accommodating with my dogs and understood my dior situation on moving somewhere fast. They really put in alot of work and phone calls getting everything in line. Above and beyond. Plus I got a $500 signing bonus. Insane. The steet outside my building is so beautiful and my dogs love to pee on every tree. I never thought I'd enjoy living in the FM area being a small town girl...This is home. My beautiful home. I have Skaff to thank for it. Rosa is the best! I know I drive her crazy. Lol. She deals though. 🙃Maintenance is fast and polite. House and yard maintenance are beyond expectations. Skaff takes safety concerns very seriously and they rectify them asap. I feel very safe in my building. I recommend Skaff to everyone looking for a happy home.
