Great rest area and parking spot. Viewing ducks on the lake is great right now and the visitors center is in the Christmas spirit for the season.

It's so wonderful to visit this park just on the lake. You can have a great walk there. Such a nice play ground for the kids. The statues and the btemji sign makes it special. Picnic tables are there to enjoying the park little long. Restroom is located at the park office with a souvenir shop. We were so glad to meet Mary the lady in the office is very welcoming and friendly. Parking place is spacious and we love to visit the again soon. It's also a dog friendly park.

The most iconic stop in Bemidji. Visit Paul and Babe for a photo with the lake in the background. The visitor center is about 20 feet from the statues and has bathrooms in case this is a quick rest stop for you. With a landscaped garden, paved path and two docks - this is a beautiful place for a stroll. For families with children, a large playground is featured nearby. There are shady spots to sit on the grass and have a picnic. Another great feature is the large pavilion that sits not far off. Follow any path north to see the pond with a fountain and the ever present flock of geese - just don't get too close to these cobra chickens - they are not friendly. This park connects to the Paul Bunyan hiking trail that circles the entire lake. Bike rentals are available in the visitor center. Pro tip: there is an icecream shop across the street. A Bemidji gift shop and Morels chippewa trading post are right next door for souvenirs

The weather was nice when we visited. Though we couldn't get up close to P&B because of construction we still got a few nice photos. The Visitor Center was open, and I loved seeing the old fireplace with stone from across the globe.

We have to go back when not so cold and rainy. Beautiful park. We saw Mergansers and lots of Loons on the lake.

Nice place to get out and stretch you legs. Great view of the lake and the Paul and Babe statues are neat. Ice cream across the street was a nice treat too.

Cool place to make a stop, but not much to see or do here. Statures are nicely maintained. Right next to water.

Very fun welcome center with actual Paul Bunyan items from history! 😆 sad thing though was they were doing construction on Paul and babe outside on a holiday weekend 😢

My wife, daughter, and I came up to Bemidji for the first time and after grabbing a bite to eat we came to the Paul Bunyan Park and it was a lot of fun. We walked around and the park was very pretty and also went into the tourist office (not sure what it's called) but they had a lot of information about Bemidji and also had souvenirs for purchase. Overall great experiance.

Paul Bunyan Park is a lovely little spot with great views of the lake. I visited at the tail end of winter, so I didn't end up spending much time there. I'm sure that with better weather, this would be a nice spot to spend some time. There are some beautiful sculptures that celebrate indigenous culture, plus there are the ever-popular Paul and Babe statues nearby. Lots of parking spots.

Great Park. Kids had a blast. Informative visitor’s center. Loved the States Fireplace!! Wish we could’ve gotten our bikes closer for a photo!

Nice sunny day! Lots of kids playing on the very nice playground. The tourism office was ipen and the young lady assisting was extremely helpful and courteous! So clean and so were Paul Bunyan and his Blue Ox!

The waterfront has changed so much over the last few years! . It is a beautiful place to eat lunch outside or even in your car with windows down watching the lake or people passing on the long trails and sidewalk. Souvenir shop or get icecream from the shop across the street.

Great history, amazing playground, and a beautiful view of Lake Bemidji. After hours of being coupled up in the family ride let the kids play. Flirt with your significant other and enjoy the simple beauty of our great nation, then get some food and sleep. 🤭😆😉 like and follow for more. 45 m views and counting. 😁 Travel Well & thank you😊

Considering 4th of July weekend, the park wasn't too crowded. Be sure to visit the Visitor Center to view some of Paul Bunyans possessions!!

Beautiful. Except one play ground thing is a big xykiphone...my dog thought it was doorbell. Clean. Safe. Killer playground. Smooth walking paths.
