Took my wife's long-time friend out for her birthday. We all had an amazing time. The food was wonderful and perfectly cooked and hardly a wait. The service was top-notch and the manager even came to check on us as well. Steak, crab, stuffed shrimp, baked potatoes and more, all quality and cooked perfectly. We will return. Thank you!

Best place to eat in Fairport Harbor. Please take the walk across the street from the other restaurant to give this place a chance. Service was amazing and personable from the waitress to the hostess. Food was served hot and fresh. My husband makes fun of the fact that I order chop steak, but it is the best. If you like chopped steak, you will not be disappointed! The crab legs were cooked perfectly hot but not soggy or watery and salty. Fries are comparable to fair fries. Save room for dessert as the coconut cream pie is heavenly.

Baked haddock basically dried fish. Shrimp scampi slimy. Told we didn’t bring it to their attention soon enough and had eaten some (a few bites). You judge whether we ate it all as the manager asserts. Tim, We raised issue to server and manager when we stood up from the table and sought her out. We eat out a lot at seafood places in Florida so we know seafood; we also fish a lot and cook it ourselves. Wife has worked and run restaurants her whole life. I waited tables as seafood restaurants in Rhode Island and cooked for a hospital for a decade. We understand what right looks like. The manager made an incorrect judgment that too much had been eaten based on her view that the shrimp had been removed from the shell; the pictures of the baked haddock make it clear that none of it was eaten. This was a table of 11 (3 checks), and due to food allergies the server was asked many questions and found answers to all (good service). Of the 11, only the shrimp and haddock were problems. The restaurant got busy at 5:45 so server was less attentive after taking our orders. Wait of 50 minutes to receive order. I had to ask the gentleman who brought the food out for a water, my ice tea never got a refill. Shrimp was not good (slimy) and brother in law opened them just looking for a good one. Haddock was bone dry. Attempted to wave down server to let her know but could not get her attention. Was with a family who had been coming to Brennan’s since it opened and have lived in Fairport Harbor their whole life (they are 77 and 78 years old). They were embarrassed because Brennan’s has been their favorite place forever. Managers offer was a couple deserts as we were walking out. Hope this helps you sort this out. V/R John

We drove over an hour to try Brennan's. It was well worth the trip. My husband really likes perch and said Brennan's is the best he's ever had. The loaded mashed potatoes are a meal on their own! The service was great and the atmosphere is definitely 'fish house.' Make the trip!

Absolutely the best fish on the planet.. yes, the planet. I have eaten fish from here to Australia, Brennans is superb. Don't waste you time with Pickel Bills next door, they only wish they could be Brennans. The atmosphere is fun, the service is skilled.

Nice place for food near Geneva-on-the-Lake. Food is decent. Service was good. I had the shrimp fettuccine. Fettuccine wasn't that good, but the shrimp was fantastic.

We went here tonight for Mother’s Day, and it was absolutely amazing! The service was top-notch, the food was all very good, we had a party of 12 people which can be quite daunting, and they handled it all flawlessly. We will 100000% be back!

It was pretty busy for a Monday evening. Nice bustle to the place. Waiter seemed to have more than enough to keep him busy. Very minimal interaction with him. We both had a seafood combo. BIG shrimp, stuffed fish, scallops. It was a good meal. Very filling.

Our family always looks forward to getting walleye and perch at Brennan's! The owner is always friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the food is fantastic.

We ate there yesterday and had mixed thoughts; We both had the Lobster Bisque, I liked it, my friend didn't, we both thought that it needed some chunks of lobster in it. She had the perch dinner, very good! I had the Crab Cakes, mediocre! Shared a slice of Key Lime Pie... Very Good!!! Overall, not bad but both of us wish the soup was better.

We went this past Saturday for our 21st anniversary. Drove an hour. I don't eat seafood but my husband loves it. After we parked, the older gentleman driving around, monitoring parking, told my husband that we couldn't park there and walk across to Pickle Bills. Assuming we weren't going into Brennan's. We read the signs and parked about 2 spots from the front door. It was rude. Especially when there were other spots open and lots of other people walking into the restaurant. As we were walking in, we heard this man getting cussed at by a man walking into the other place. I'm assuming that he was rude to this man as well because it didn't sound friendly. Food was ok. I think overpriced, especially if you don't eat seafood like me. The chicken tender meal, for $20 came with tenders that you could get out of the freezer section at the grocery store. The fries were good and we didn't care for the Cole slaw. My husband said his food was good. He got the platter and oysters as an app. The oysters were huge! The 2 butterfly shrimp were tiny and could've come straight from a freezer box you buy at the grocery store. The cocktails were lacking and the bread should be warmed. We spent over $100. At least the seafood was good. But for me, I was left wanting more than a fast food meal. Happy I didn't risk $30 on the steak meal! I understand it's a seafood restaurant, but to fail so bad on chicken strips is pretty bad. Not getting harassed before we walked in would've been great. I understand parking could probably be a problem, but when we parked right by the front door, why not wait to see where we were going? For an hour trip, I wouldn't want to come back.

Great french fries! Small perch dinner has 4 fillets, more than enough. Nice desserts, good beer selection and friendly staff (could have been a bit more attentive).

Excellent service and the perch and clam chowder were delicious. This was our 1st time here. We will be back.
