We had never been here before and went for dinner with friends who were leaving the next day. It was not a good place for visiting that evening as there were singers and two mariachi groups there. The mariachi groups were stationary in the other room, but the singers were near us by the door and were distracting, especially when they came directly to the table to ask for money. We usually will give but on our own, not when a jar is shaken in front of our faces. We ordered the fish and shrimp dinner, which is a really good and huge portion. The other three of us got Mexican food. Also good and large portions. Although there is tobasco sauce on the table, it would have been nice to have the red and green sauces offered in other local restaurants for that extra flavor. From what I could see, service is excellent from the entire staff. The place is clean and nicely decorated and very pleasant.

It was so so , the steak was literally cold inside , they fill your plate with a whole lot of beans and rice and salad .... my steak and shrimp only brought in 3 med sized shrimp with a lot of breading . Service was fast and they were attentive but I went for the food not customer service .& The food was not great at all . I will not be returning . Plus they are a bit pricey for a plate full of beans , rice and lettuce then whatever u order .

The night we visited there were several large groups so service was delayed. We had no problem with that. Our food was delicious and fresh. The seafood soup so delicious with lots of fish. I had grilled red snapper and the plate was overflowing with food. My husband had the fried shrimp which looked fantastic. A delicious meal!

So much food , it was a waste . I don’t know how they make money with so much food being thrown away. I saw the other tables with so much food being wasted. I couldn’t eat it all. It was good. If my dad wants me to take him back I will. Our waiter was the best , he explained the menu and the dishes ! I truly appreciate him for helping out !! He made sure we had refills! Wish I would have gotten his name.

I think this place is a jewel right in the middle of Weslaco Texas. What a phenomenal place for seafood and Mexican food. Prices are good for the amount of food they give you. Food is always delicious & Sometimes surpasses expectations. If you like, ceviche this is the place to go. Mountain of ceviche on a tostada for five bucks. I recommend the chicken enchiladas as well. They are probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Service was good even though they were packed to the hilt. Place has a good vibe with the Mexican atmosphere, and the live local music. Kudos to the owners for keeping this outstanding place top-notch for decades and hopefully for years to come.

There is no better marisco than the one here. Their food is always amazing. Never have we had a bad visit. The customer service is great, the wait time I hardly ever Ling even on their busy days, and they're always packed. This is our go to restaurant. Greatest Mexican seafood restaurant in the valley.
