Small lakefront park with a nice view. There is a swim area and a playground in the small beach. Restrooms are open and clean.

A hidden gem! Perfect spot to watch the sunset and let kids play on the sandy beach or jump off the dock if it’s the right season for a swim..

Love this beach, my family has been going here for 20 plus years. Unfortunately there are no lifeguards due to the lifeguard shortage.

This is a great park for locals to visit. There are only a few nearby parking spots, so without being within walking distance it's a tough place to go to. The playground is great for kids and there's plenty of seating around the edges, as well as two picnic tables and a dock. The presentation of the beach, particularly the fencing, makes it looks a bit run down. There is also a long trail at the entrance that leads all the way to Gene Coulon Park.

Hard to find. You park above Lake Washington Blvd where there's about 10 spaces. Then walk down. I was able to launch my Oru kayak and squeeze thru the log boom. Has a restroom and outdoor shower.

Kennydale Beach Park is a great spot for families and individuals alike. With a large grassy area for picnics and games, a playground for kids, and beach access for swimming and kayaking, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The park also features a boat launch and a dock for fishing or just watching the boats go by. The views of Lake Washington and the surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning. However, the park can get quite crowded during peak hours, so be prepared to share the space with others. Overall, Kennydale Beach Park is a wonderful destination for a day out in nature.

Kennydale Beach Park is an absolute gem that offers a delightful blend of natural beauty and family-friendly amenities. During my recent visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the meticulous care taken in maintaining this park. The first thing that caught my eye was the beautifully manicured lawns. The lush, green expanses were not only visually appealing but also provided the perfect spot for a picnic or a game of frisbee. The park's commitment to keeping these areas pristine is evident, making it a welcoming destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The play area for kids was a true highlight of our visit. It was thoughtfully designed and equipped with a variety of age-appropriate activities that kept the little ones entertained for hours. The smiles on their faces spoke volumes about the quality of this play area. Access to the small beach was another wonderful feature of Kennydale Beach Park. It provided a safe and enjoyable space for both kids and adults to dip their toes in the water or simply relax by the shoreline. The fact that it's well-maintained adds to the overall positive experience. Clean and functional restrooms are often an underrated aspect of park visits, but Kennydale Beach Park excels in this department. The standing restrooms were not only clean but also conveniently located, ensuring that visitors can enjoy their time without worrying about facilities. Lastly, the huge dock was a fantastic addition to the park. It not only offered stunning views of the water but also provided an excellent vantage point for fishing or simply taking in the serene surroundings. It's evident that the park's design was well thought out to cater to a variety of interests. In conclusion, Kennydale Beach Park is a hidden treasure that deserves recognition for its pristine lawns, excellent play areas, small beach access, clean facilities, and expansive dock. Whether you're a family looking for a fun day out or an individual seeking a peaceful escape by the water, this park has something for everyone. It's a testament to the dedication of those who maintain it, and I highly recommend a visit to experience its charm firsthand.

Perfect little park, can get crowded but worthwhile, parking also a bit hard to find but can walk small distance to park, water is amazing, there is sand and small kids playground/park picnic tables for eating or little gathering (2 tables. ) . Swimming is allowed

We went at a crowded time so not much space to enjoy our stay. However, the water felt great!

It's a lovely and quite private park. There is a small playground on the sand and I can't wait for our kids to go swimming here in the summer!

We love this little spot. It has everything we need. Covered area with tables, big and baby swings, slides, beach to wade in and deck to jump off into deeper water. We saw a little bat flying over the water too. Would be nice for a quite sunset I would imagine. We'll be returning soon!

It's a pretty small beach, the whole playground is sandy so there is ample sand for sand play. The bathrooms are not open most of the year (they don't open until sometime in June). Not obvious where to park unless you read the website (across the street on Burnett Ave are several parking spaces). If you live nearby it's probably a fine little park, definitely not worth driving to. There are both baby swings and regular swings and a covered picnic area.

Fun park. Had a little area for smaller kids to get in besides the stairs that go to a 2 ft deep area. We visited close to the end of may and the bathrooms weren't open yet which was not great. We pick parks that have bathrooms when you have a little person. It doesn't seem like its maintained often but it was clean from the areas we did visit. The parking isn't ideal as it is across the road and up a hill, there also is not a lot of it. We will be back when it warms up and hopefully the bathrooms are open

Very nice park. Have been going here for several years. It is well maintained and clean for the most part. There are bathrooms at this locations and parking is mostly on the street.

Overcrowded, full of Karen’s & kids cashing down wildlife, no dogs allowed, no good fishing spots. Just like the rest of lake Washington really. Overall a great beach if you’re an uptight techie with 4 kids.

Not wheelchair accessible. You need to take steps down fro. The street. Some parking but not a lot. A great little beach area with playground. Well contained, meaning you can keep an eye on all your kids from the playground to the beach. Outdoor shower. Public restrooms. No lifeguards. Shaded picnic area, but those tables get claimed quickly. Jumping dock. Grassy area on the other side of the public bathrooms. We love this park.
