Do not expect anything spectacular or spacious here. Tourists can easily skip this. Baudelopark is a small city park without anything to impress. Despite (ongoing) renovations, the park is too small and too open to give visitors the impression or feeling they can escape or shield from the surrounding city. No impressive flower or shrubbery fields, no impressive central focus point, it's mostly grass and some trees and at my time of visit (june 2022) it conveyed more the impression of a construction site than a quiet park.

What a wonderful and idyllic park to chill with friends! Parks are a great place to spend time outdoors and enjoy nature. They typically have green spaces, trees, and sometimes bodies of water, making them a peaceful and relaxing environment. Parks often have walking and biking paths, playgrounds, and sports facilities, making them a great place for physical activity. Some parks also have picnic areas and barbeque grills, making them a popular spot for outdoor gatherings and meals. Overall, parks provide a wonderful opportunity for people to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors.

A wonderfull place where playing children, nerdy adults, street performers and homeless junkies magically seem to unite. Something that currently looks like a construction yard.

Great park by the canal. Has a lovely climbing structure for children. Easy bike ride from the center. Not the best description on the map but would recommend if your children need to get some climbing and wiggles out.

I hope you will understand that architecture has nothing to do with the inventions of forms. It is not a playground for children, young or old. Architecture is the real battleground of the spirit

Recently renovated small park. It's a lot of grass to lay down, a playground for the children and a men's "restroom" nearby.

“This park is for big kids,” said my 3 year old, then we kicked the ball around the open grass and collected sticks to throw in the canal. A nice, calm, central park. Good memories.

Recently sat down here with some friends for a small picnic. The atmosphere here was lovely. Especially the waterside is nice place to hang out! Even thought this is a nice park, I don’t recommend tourists to stop by here since there’s not a lot to see.

Cosy park near the river. Could be even nicer if the place was cleaned more often

This is beautiful but also historical park in Ghent. It is nice to chill there or take a break after going to one of the theaters or cafes in the area. It is close to the nightlife spots in Ghent like the bars at the Sint Jacobs church and the theatres of NTGent. The park was made and constructed by a famous Ghentian botanist and gardener named Frederik Burvenich. the park is also near a school were young people *hang out*.

Okay park. Nothing special. There are bigger and nicer parks in Gent. This one is good dor an afternoon stroll or the end of day coffee with friends.

Very nice area, shopping, eating, and plenty to see. Visit the cathedrals, what an amazing experience. Parking is a stupid setup but still great to visit. Shops close at 5pm dont ask me why. Maybe its a law or something.

Nice and generally calm park. The only minus here is the fact that some of the green parts are a bit dilapidated. In spite of this, Baudelo is great to read a book at under the shade of a tree. During the Gentse Feesten in July, there's generally lots of dancing going on here and is a good chill - zone.

Quite soggy park when it rains, the paths are made of natural underground. Relaxing park to walk through, it's more quiet now they've changed the circulation plan in Ghent, there are not to many cars passing by.

Ghent doesn't have many parks on this site of the city. It has a nice playground and the trees are beautifull. Unfortunately there is much trash on the ground.
