We loved it. Great food and service, very authentic interior. Highly recommend. The place is a couple of blocks from the down town, around 10 min to walk, that is why it is less crowdy

We discovered El Tempio during one of our walks in Merida. You have to try their margaritas. I always prefere mine with slushed ice. It was the best I have tasted during our 2 weeks stay there in December 2019. Their patio has great colorful ambiance. Each table is hand painted piece of art. We haven't eaten there. Next time maybe. Must experience.

Very good food. Great drinks. Almost walked past this place, very happy we did not miss it. El Templo may become our go to place for a great, very reasonable lunch!

Guac is nice and fresh, the fajita was pretty decent. The margaritas on their special menu for 70 pesos .. omg, so good! You can see the pulp from the lime juice floating there in the surface inviting you to drink, it’s so fresh and delicious.

It was a hot afternoon, but dining outside, with cervesas was good. I could of had a gin and tonic, but beer seemed more appropriate. Outdoor fans helped with the heat.

Not great not terrible. There are better restaurants where to leave money in my opinion, however, if you are near and hungry you won’t be dissapointed as well. Prices are ok.

Fun atmosphere (not sure it was supposed to be serious, but we had a few chuckles)... got the Pollo nachos - so good!! We shared them cause the bowl was huge. Also mildness Mormona - awesome as well, also shared (too big otherwise). Loved the place!

Has breakfast. Huevos Divorsados. Tasted great and eggs done to my liking. Both sauces and beans top notch. Will be back to try something else for sure. Quite place because it’s not at the Centro.

Love this place. Has great cocktails, and a good selection of Mexican and American food. Very cool murals on the walls and decorated well.

Great place just outside of the main tourist area. Nice outdoor seating available. I actually ate here twice in a day, breakfast of huevos motuleños which was delicious.. and then saw they have great drink deals/prices so came back that evening for dinner. They have buckets of 5 beers for only 150, and my husband and I shared the Super Nachos, which were definitely super :)

The chile relleno con camaron was amazing and I don’t usually like plantains but the ones in this dish were fantastic. I came on a Monday night and there was only one other table at 6:30 pm so it was a little empty but the service was great and I would come back!

First visit I had the traditional tlayuda. It was pretty good, so i came back for more again. I ordered the esquite, which was LOTS of mayonnaise and corn witha very light dusting of cheese and flavorless powdered paprika or chili powder. . I couldn't eat more than the first bite. Perhaps that recipe is a regional recipe? I've never had esquite I didn't like, until now. So I ordered some guacamole, because that's always good, right? Sorry to say that it was kind of bland. I was hungry, so.... The chips were tasty though. Lol. Service was disinterested and didn't offer to remake it or provide more chili powder or picante. Meh.

Nice little cantina in the center. Drinks were the cheapest so far especially if you are in the center. Good food too. We had wings which were delicious and a burrito which was o.k. Very colorful arts and crafts. Thank you.

This place is cool and full of atmosphere in a colonial building not far from the center of Mérida. The food is decent, too.

Clean, good service, reasonable prices. Have eaten here many times for breakfast, noon buffet (good food, good value) and dinner. Staying at Mission. Americana down the street.

👍👍 Great little spot just off Paseo. Always busy which is always a good sign. Live music basically all day everyday, had a couple great snacks and excellent cocktails. The service was good and the "snacks on the house" were actually really good! We'll definitely be going back!

👍👍 We are here on vacation and haven't had a moment alone in months. Lapa Lapa has a kids area open all night where your toddlers can play so you can eat and drink in peace!!! It was incredible. Unsure why the US doesn't have this. Our food was good too. There were healthy options and drink specials. A...
