The pizzas were awful because of under-cooked crusts. Paper thin, but somehow not crispy or good. The ingredients were high quality, but horrible crusts. I would never go back. The beef carpaccio was good. The service and atmosphere were good. But the food, a deal breaker. I suppose fake reviews can be posted by people who have only a few, or hundreds like me. In Mexico there are so many fake reviews, you can't trust average star ratings. Look at detailed, authentic reviews to judge.

Really nice resturant with daily specials and fair prices. The service is really good and the meals are top notch, we have now been twice in three weeks and very much enjoyed both times. Looking forward to our next visit to try more of the menu.

Service was great but they kept trying to serve me American things like Tabasco sauce when I asked for salsa picante. I wouldn’t eat Tabasco in the US or anywhere. They also walked away instead of simply saying no when I asked in Spanish for a hot drink without coffee and gave reasonable options. They offered coke or sprite. I pointed out that those are not hot and said I’d take more coffee- like an the American that I am lol

Delicious food. I ordered a Cesar salad (came with bread), and the shrimp tacos (Omgosh amazing. Order immediately!), yummy chocolate cake and some hibiscus water. Steep prices but a lot of food. I’d come back.

We ordered a simple Continental breakfast and had to wait 20min to get a simple cafe, and 45min to get the bread! Waistress mainly focused to get more new clients and less to serves the current ones! Do not go there!!

Kept us waiting for almost an hour for 3 tacos and some grilled fish. Brought a jug of limonada instead of the glass we asked for and charged 200 pesos. Food was average and small servings for the price. Had to ask 3 times to get them to bring the bill. Incredibly overpriced and slow. Street food is infinitely better!

One beer on tap is Heineken - Yay!!... Except it's skunky and flat. There was a line of foam an inch above the beer which makes me think it was poured at happy hour and served to me now... I'm not even going to bother with the food.

Nice looking place, but super overpriced. Bathrooms had no paper at all. I orders the Apple strudel with ice cream, but got only the ice cream which tasted bad. I’ve never had ice cream taste bad, but this was freezer burnt had huge chucks of ice in it. Tasted horrible too. I’m not sure what happened but I won’t be going back.

I really like this bistro. very nice. Great quality chicken and steak skewers with sweet potatoes. Really nice comfortable ambiance for an evening dinner with a glass of Quality wine 🍷. The music 🎶 was great, perfect volume so you could still carry on a conversation. Being from North America it feels really comfortable to relax in an American feeling Bistro after some time in Mexico 🇲🇽. Check it out I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

We shared two pizzas at Bistrola 57, which were very nice. The toppings were generous and the pizza bases were nice. It was probably more on the pricey side for two pizzas. The staff were very friendly and attentive to us. The restaurant is well maintained and even though on a main road was nice and quiet.

First of all, after we arrived it took forever to have someone to help us order the food. The restaurant was pretty much empty, and they just kept us waiting. My goodness, I so regret I even ate their steak and also fed a few bites to my kid. the steak tasted like the beef went bad. 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 now I'm just wondering whether we're getting some diseases. I didn't even eat 95% of the steak. All the money went wasted. I paid for the dish, and even gave the server 5% tip. Then the server confronted me why I didn't pay him 10 or 15% tip, and canceled the transaction. I told him the beef didn't taste right. I pointed to him that we basically didn't eat. Then he re-did the transaction on the machine. After I left the restaurant I was thinking why did I even pay even 1 peso to him? It was really terrible. We stayed in Mexico for 2 weeks, and this is the only place that I can't even eat. I would give it negative score if it's possible on Google map review.

Fabulous food and service; 5 stars. Gave 4 stars for atmosphere because they were playing English songs, but that is being picky...the atmosphere is really good. Highly recommend Bistrola 57. Directly across the street from Hotel Merida, very convenient. Lots and lots of shopping close by. Family friendly. 2 thumbs up.

Ordered two pizzas for our table. Both were not hot and the taste was poor. A frozen pizza taste better than what we were served. Service was poor also. The server dropped off the pizza and never returned to the table the entire meal to see if we need any.

We went for a cold drink and snack. We ordered a few beers, and they gave us some peanuts that were quite good. We ordered a sampler platter of appetizers which we enjoyed.

Nice place. Service is old fashion. We liked the food. The prices are a little bit higher than the other restaurants. We will go there again.

Overall, the food was very good, however, this restaurant is 100% tailored for tourists. The food isn’t as authentic as other places and the prices are a little higher as well. My 3 stars is more for the services. We came for breakfast and it took longer than expected. Two of our orders weren’t taken correctly but they were kind enough to make it right, however the wait was not worth it at all. The atmosphere is nice and modern. But if you’re looking for authentic Yucatec food, go somewhere else

Unfortunately there were so many issues today. From ordering to the time it took for the food to arrive (over a 1/2 hour just to get a glass of water) to multiple errors with our meals and then even the bill. The serving staff was good and tried to make things right, but just did not happen.

I came here for dinner, had soup, salad and some pasta. All were very good tasting and good quality. The prices were very reasonable and the service was professional and fast. The menus are in English and the staff spoke English which was very welcome. The restaurant is within walking distance of the main square and is very cozy inside. A nice little spot.

2nd time back. I wanted to try their sliders (mini burgers 🍔). I ordered the burgers with Jaimica drink. I didn't notice how much time went by, but it felt like an awfully long time for me to get my drink; then, if I hadn't held back from drinking all my Jaimica, I would not have had any by the time my burgers arrived. I like the atmosphere, and the food, but the wait time seems extremely long. It would be helpful to have something quick to snack on while you wait. And, if they are freshly preparing your drinks, they should offer you water in the meantime. They have some other items on the menu I'd like to try, so I'll be back 😋

Initially this place didn’t look appealing to me but I was staying at the adjoining hotel and it was easy for me to take a quick break from work and pop down here since the weather wasn’t great to go out further. The French onion soup was pretty nice. Can’t say I’ve had a lot of French onion soups as a comparison but I enjoyed what they served up. The chicken wings were just ok. The first couple were really nice but they were rich in taste and I stopped enjoying them after the 3rd one. But overall it was better than expected here.

Not professional at all. I went there with my parents and my sister and they had to wait 45 minutes to get their meals whereas we were the only clients. At the same time, I had ordered a pizza and one hour later, a waiter told me than they were not serving pizzas anymore. It is the first time that this situation happens in my life, waiting one hour to be served for finally getting nothing. I do not understand how it can happen when there are no other clients.

VERY slow service, after 15 min of waiting I got red wine instead of rosé (it was horrible btw), prices were very touristic while most of the staff barely spoke English (my partner failed to receive a menu to order his dessert while I was smoking as I’m the one who speaks Spanish). Food is okay but doesn’t worth all the pain of long waiting, high prices and language barriers.

Good food and great service. Ducked in to escape the heat for a few minutes and had a great meal with a few tasty cocktails. Very attentive staff.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch after class. Entering the restaurant you are met with staff that provide sanitizer for your hands. We were seated immediately near the window. We were unaware they had two for one specials on pizza and cerveza. We ordered one margarita and one ham and mushroom 10 inch pizza for the price of one! Score! Also two cervezas, both Sol, for the price of one. Score 2! Both pizzas had a flat toasted crust (bread) that was light and yummie. See photo. My wife ordered a Caesar salad that she said was fresh crisp and flavorful. We had an interesting occurrence that evening. The restaurant made an honest mistake on the bill and we were overcharged on the credit card. We went back the next day and the manager was waiting for us to make the situation right! He refunded the overcharge without question and apologized profusely. He said they noticed it the moment we walked out of the restaurant. The employees and the restaurant are top-notch. We will go back again before we leave Merida.

We had pizza and drinks. ´ not sure there was alcohol in my cocktail ! The pizza was thin crusted but was a little dry. I strongly suspect the olive oil was not (pure) olive oil but the waiter assured us that it was. Ambiance was nice. Overall not bad.

Unfortunately there were so many issues today. From ordering to the time it took for the food to arrive. We ordered a Bistrola plate which it’s a sample plater. We were really disappointed with the quality of the food! First the wedge potatoes had batter on one side only, the cheese sticks where cold with a synthetic taste, the guacamole came in a ceramic container that probably wasn’t dry because it tasted like soap which made it inedible, the boneless chicken was cold an soggy, the ranch sauce tasted rancid, and the pizza was cold! The only good thing in this plate was the sliders. We mentioned the situation to the manager and offered to replace the guacamole but at the time we were ready to run out of the place. They still charged us full price for the plate. Stay away from this place please!

The Pizza was the most worse Pizza I have ever eating. No taste, just flat taste. For a price of 280 peso unaccaptable. I would never gi back here and not recoment this restaurant. The red wine out of the cooler. The service was friendly and ok but food no way
