“The best pasta of my life” -my boyfriend about the shrimp pasta. The mushroom risotto was equally fantastic. The service was AMAZING. Attentive and friendly servers and two waitresses wished me happy birthday after they surprised me with a free birthday dessert! Tiramisu is also to die for. Thank you for an amazing culinary experience! We will be back!

Good Italian restaurant. The food was tasty and the staff super professional. However, there are some negative points. The Carbonara was done with cream. Which is not real Italian, but rather a cheap copy. And considering the hefty price that should be a no-go.

Eureka is one of the better restaurants I've been to in Merida. Very nice but casual atmosphere with delicious food, excellent professional service, and very reasonable prices. Four of us shared an appetizer, had copious glasses of wine, entrees, and 2 desserts came to $2400 pesos including a generous tip. I will definitely eat there again!

Service great ..food average at best. You can eat it but the pasta dishes we had were not authentic. Basically Italian food made with Mexican ingredients. In response to the owners response: No need to visit your home town, when both people at the table are Italian and have spent their entire lives eating this food home cooked from our nonno's, nonna's and parents kitchen tables. Safe to say we have good taste for what is good and what isn't and I'm not saying yours isn't good, just the flavors were very new, and were more on the side of Mexican than Italian for my dish. I have had plenty bad meals over the years back in the homeland, so dropping that doesn't mean the food will taste better and some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten was in Nepal, so making very authentic food on limited supplies is very possible, as Mexico is a bit for connected than Nepal. I did appreciate the bread and truffle and noticed that, thank you for your effort there. The food wasn't bad, and I appreciate you have a limited supply and you're making it work. My pasta was as simple as pasta can get, olive oil, garlic, and chili and it tasted of consommé powder and was very watery with very little olive oil flavor. Almost tasted like the cook was using a Olive-pomace Oil. The other dish she assumed would be a white wine sauce, but couldn't taste it, the noodles were lacking flavor, and had many clam shells but not many clams and many of them were still closed, which is why we said average tasting. Again great service, wonderful space and good wine selection. Thank you for you response and maybe see you on a flight back to Italy in the future! Saluti!

Just finished a fabulous dinner at Eureka. In my opinion, this is by far the best Italian restaurant in town. Had their asparagus salad and home made pasta with shrimp and lemon, followed by a traditional tiramisu. I enjoyed every single bite. My server Regina was friendly and attentive. She spoke English as well and made my ordering a much easier process.

It's always a treat to dine at Eureka. Beautiful space for a quiet dinner away from the crowds, but only a few minutes from centro. Attentive service, full bar and excellent food prepared under the watchful eye of the owner/chef. Never disappoints!

We finally checked out Eureka after hearing so many good things. First, the restaurant is beautiful. Loved the atmosphere. Seemed to have a large selection of wines to choose from, however we got the gin & tonic and the aperol spritz. Very good spritz! We enjoyed the house bread and oil, they give you. We ordered the brushetta to start and the mushrooms. Both were pretty good, but not amazing. For our mains we got the Arugula/Pesto Risotto and the mushroom gnocci. I have to say, while mine looked great, it was very very salty. Now that might work for some people, but I don't put salt on anything and it almost overwhelmed the entire dish. The gnocci was cooked more al dente than we normally like, but it tasted good. The Tiramisu was delicious! -recommend. The staff were very pleasant. All in all, I would have to say its a nice place aesthetically, somewhat expensive, but sadly does not live up to the hype IMO, so 4 stars.

We had a great dinner here. I had the asparagus salad, and saltimbocca de pollo. My husband had the mushroom soup and riccioli eureka. We shared tiramisu. The tiramisu had no ladyfingers and wasn’t very strongly coffee flavoured. Otherwise the food was very very good. Our server Gabriel (Gabo) was excellent. Service was professional and smooth.

I’d say that this is the best high end Italian restaurant in Merida, the food is next level however the prices are fairly high and the flavors are clearly reflected in it. The deserts are good but the tiramisu presentation looks dated and I was served a partially frozen one.

The food was ok, but the prices were out of line. I felt ripped off especially by the tiny glass of wine I was given as a glass vino tinto de la casa. Overall, not a good deal.

Food was pretty bad. Ordered a lamb risotto and the lamb was spoiled. Chewed a few times and had to spit it out because it smelled bad and tasted like vinager. I dont recommend this place at all. Too pricey for the quality.

Authentic Italian. Refined flavors. My favorite was the oysters and the veil tartare! 😋. Best dinner during our 3-week vacation in Mexico. Very friendly and attentive service.

😐 Beautiful setting, very helpful and excellent staff. Their menu has just about every dish for which the Yucatan is known. 👍👍 Excellent! I ordered three of the pastor tacos. My wife ordered two chicken tacos. Best we've had in a very long time and we're loaded with meat. Two classic Margaritas each. Both were tasty and potent. I wasn't done so I ordered two of the bistec (steak) tacos. Also yummy! We will definitely go...
