Great food. Great service. Fried calamari appetizer is so good, I have never had better calamari before. Grilled octopus appetizer is to die for. Sea bass was delicious, perfectly cooked.

Upscale restaurant area, very western area, great pasta, higher end place. If you’re missing your nice restaurant in the USA, this place is for you. Not cheap, not local style, they do pay attention to the details. We’d recommend it for sure

Had a late dinner here and really enjoyed it. The service was slow but then again it was close to closing time. The chocolate dessert was divine. And we also had the salads and the fish of the day. There is some construction at the front so it was a little difficult to get in. Nonetheless this place is good and enjoyable.

Every time I come to Merida, I make sure to visit Oliva Enoteca. Today we started with the Panzanella and Calvolfiore. For our main course, we had the Pasta Vongole and the Osso Bucco with pork. Then we wrapped it up with the tiramisu and pavlova. Recommend all of these items highly. And I didn’t even mention the cocktails. Very good. Pablo was our waiter and the service was exceptional.

For European standard this Italian restaurant is basic okay, I think for Americans and locals it is better. The Service experience was not great at all. First they messed up the reservation and wanted us to sit at the bar, I had to start discussing and then they found our reservation and a table, as we booked. The service Personal in general was more annoyed by the guests than giving a nice and warm Italian hospitality experience. Price is also too much for what you get, we were not happy here. Please improve and work on your service hospitality.

I think than the only bad thing is the restaurant is small, one bathroom for women and one for men and right now there is a street in construction, so you have to left your car and walk some blocks for enter. The atmosphere is okay, is calm, nothing diferent, but the food is delicious, there are differents kind of wines, well done and the service is good too, the prices are around $200, $400 every dish, the menu is online, we spent $1500 more or less for 2 persons.

Great Italian restaurant. Delicious pasta and good service. We tried the bruschetta, the Diavola pasta and the ravioli. Definitely recommend it.

I recently revisited the Italian restaurant in Merida, Mexico, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The delicious cuisine, coupled with outstanding service and quick turnaround, made for an exceptional dining experience. The beautiful ambiance added a delightful touch to the evening. Without a doubt, I'll be returning again to savor both the flavors and the warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

One of the best dining experiences in Mexico. We went to this restaurant after a week of eating traditional Mexican food, wanting for a change. Nice interior design and good reviews brought us to Oliva Enoteca. The food is great and the staff very attentive. There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like. Great tartar, pasta with shrimps and pulpo 🐙. Absolutely recommend! We visited with a group of friends in November 2021.

We tried Oliva for the first time in La Paz, we liked it so much that when we saw it was on Merida we made a reservation. We got the Porcini mushrooms (not on the menu because they are seasonal), the cesar salad, diavola pasta, and tiramisu. Everything was delicious! While service was very attentive at the beginning, our waiter wasn’t very kind after we did not agree to his recommendations. He made us feel a little uncomfortable. Nevertheless, everything else was perfect!

Fresh hand-made pasta went down well, I liked the lasagne entree too but it wasn’t a typical lasagne that you’d expect. I think it was all just pretty good, except the cannoli wasn’t really like what I’ve had in Italy, it was too thin almost like a brandy snap and the cream filling was too light and lacked the flavour punch you’d normally expect. But I’d definitely recommend coming here.

Average dining experience. The restaurant was empty but the staff looked really busy for no reason. Average service. The starter with calamari and parmesan was really good. The main course was very disappointing. Risotto was runny, watery and soupy. It was cooked by a person who has no idea about Risotto. As a regular dinner at Carluccios and Jaimie Oliver. I know a bad and a terrible Risotto when I eat one. The rice OLIVA use is a cheap local rice to make profit. Not the original Arborio or Caranoli Rice. Avoid the Risotto and try another dish

One of the best dinner date spots in the city. If you love Italian food, this is a place you won't want to miss. Make a reservation as it can be busy. The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Highly recommended! A+++

We had a lovely meal here! The atmosphere was lovely without being loud, food was soooo good, and our server Wilberth was so welcoming and friendly. The bruschetta and lobster risotto were top notch. Burrata was creamy and chocolate tortiono was a perfect ending. As much as we’ve enjoyed the creative cocktails and good beer we’ve had in Merida, it was great having a by the glass wine list with multiple excellent options. We plan to return this week!

I am Italian and during our Mexico trip I felt I missed my local food after a while so decided to try this restaurant while having zero expectations about it. It ended up being an amazing culinary experience, I have rarely eaten such delicious Italian food outside of Italy. One of the dishes we had - cacio e pepe - is a typical one from my city and it was excellent. Every dish we had was perfectly in line with what Italian cuisine is about: top ingredients and simplicity. The wine and the service were also excellent.

Consistently delicious, inventive menu, nails down the classics yet leaves room for creativity. Best ambiance in Merida and excellent service. Never disappoints.

Looking for a nice Italian restaurant? My husband and I went to Oliva Enoteca for our anniversary last night and it was amazing. Highly recommend for a date night. I was trying to practice my Spanish but they also speak English. The drinks were absolutely delicious and so was the food. Service was fast and friendly. Wonderful atmosphere! Plan on spending *a little bit more* but worth it. Great atmosphere! Pablo was our waiter 🥰 Yum!

What an unexpected surprise. We originally wanted to go to a restaurant across the street but it was closed. We opted to try Oliva out and we’re so glad we did! The service was excellent! Julio was very attentive and had great recommendations. He was also great to have a chat with. The food was next level. Superb Italian by all standards. We ordered the lamb ragu and osso bucco . Both were perfectly cooked and executed. For dessert we had the olive oil cake - incredible!!! Perfect spot for a date night! Setting is romantic. In the back room, you can see straight into the kitchen so it’d be very entertaining as well.

Had a scrumptious dinner at Oliva 2 nights ago. I ordered the Fried calamari and shrimp as appetizer, followed by the Bolognese pasta as entree. The pasta was to die for. Just the right amount of saltiness and the sauce was thick and meaty. The cocktails I had were yummy as well. Andres, the manager there, was friendly and chatty. Overall, a very pleasant and delicious dinner. Definitely will return when I visit next.

Came here for my birthday dinner with my family and unfortunately the food was less than mediocre. The service and staff was very friendly and attentive but the first bread that they served us was stale, then the main dishes left us all very dissapointed. I had the corn creamed gnocchi which was way too sweet and other than sweet very bland, my dad had the fettuccini which was over cooked and slimy. My mom had the fish of the day which was sea bass and although being the best thing that any of us ordered it was very basic and unflavorful. The fried calamari as a starter was ok, but its hard to mess up fried shrimp. For the prices it was astonishing the quality of taste. Normally I don't write bad reviews, but I want to save anyone else from the disappointment and saving their wallet.

Great vibe at this spot. It is waay more than just pizza. The pasta dishes are fantastic, the desserts fresh and the ambiance is perfect. You definitely want to come to this location.

We had a great dining experience for Early Seating on New Year’s Eve. It was our second visit to Merida and OLIVA. We were delighted to be Served by Wilbur (who had an infectious smile and great demeanor.) Both being in the hospitality business we enjoy interacting with our server. Wilbur was very helpful throughout the whole dinner with excellent service skills.Thank you for making our early dinner so enjoyable. (OLIVA has a new Pizza Restaurant down the block. Excellent design and wonderful food and service. (Make reservations). All the dishes we ordered both visits were exceptional tasting and good potion size. Until we see you next time. Best of the New Year to all at OLIVA and new the new Pizza venue….

😐 Beautiful setting, very helpful and excellent staff. Their menu has just about every dish for which the Yucatan is known. So this might be a good first stop for you to get an idea of what food you will find on the rest of your trip. Our food was just OK. I would not recommend this restaurant if you...
