Mediterranean with a Mexican twist. We're from the States and it makes you wonder whether they "Mexicanize" foreign foods like we try to "Americanize". It tastes really good but not quite what you expected. I had the Pita Shawarma which came with a small salad. Unless you're starving it's enough for a good meal. Sorry about the photo showing a half eaten meal.

Miguel was the best waiter! But the food was absolutely incredible. I’ve never had pita bread so soft and tasty. The pita sandwiches were extremely delicious, seriously! The hummus was also 100%. I had to write this recommendation before I left the restaurant because I didn’t want to forget.

It's ok, good service, food is fine, but lots of onions (i don't like it) in pitas. Kinda expensive, 2 pitas with lamb, glass of simple wine and 1 beer costed 500 pesos 🤷

Just fantastic! We both had Pita sandwiches with lamb and we were blown away on how good they were. Usually when we're in Mexico we focus on eating the local cuisine, but we're so glad we decided to try Pita. I wish we had a Mediterranean style restaurant this good where we live in the US.

I speak very little Spanish. The servers are very helpful with ordering and attentive. The food is fantastic. Yes, they have air-conditioning would recommend to eat Mediterranean food here.

Falafel pita sandwich was amazing. They have two sauces - green & red. Green hit the spot, red was really spicy, be careful. The sparkling water with lime had a lot of sugar which I didn’t like. The sandwich came with salads which also had a sweet dressing, wish it didn’t have sugar. Overall great Mediterranean place if you need a break from Mexican cuisines.

This place should be a 5.0. David our service was incredible and the food was AMAZING and so fresh. I wish I took photos but it was so good I forgot. The vegan option was amazing as well. We would definitely come back.

Delicious food, great portion size and fast service. Starters would have been enough for me, but since I didn’t check the portion size first, I ended up having a feast again. The food was great in taste and served rapidly and they looked good as well. As for the pita, it was really good too, better than from other places I tried around. If you’re around the area, give it a try, it’s worth it.

Low review because of very poor service and expensive food. Great taste but more pricey than what it should be. I asked if the tzatziki had cucumber and they said it is mixed and blended. I asked if I could have a small piece of cucumber on the side to make it a bit fresher, and one guy resisted and said that's how it is. Then, he said it'd need to be as an extra charge of 30 pesos. Nope, it's called customer service. I was already paying almost $20 USD for a small dish. Owner of the restaurant, please give the servers the freedom to add an extra piece of cucumber, no one is going to go broke. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It doesn’t get any better than that! I ordered a falafel wrap with salad. It was a perfect treat for my taste buds! Just what I was craving for. The bread and the falafel was fresh, sauces were perfect. Sauces on the sides were heavenly yummy as well!

Food is tasty here! We took different plates, hummus, salad and kebab pita. All of them were very good and juicy! Highly recommended!

The food being Mediterranean - which is difficult to find in a Mexican country - is very tasty and the top excellent cuisine here. Beverage selection is great also. The only drawback in my opinion, is the chilly interior dining room with the ceiling fans going that increase that chill factor. I prefer the tables in the main lobby area near the kitchen because it has more of the outside air flowing through.

Would give 6/5 if I could! The best food we’ve eaten in Mérida, with some amazing vegetarian food and top notch falafel. The service was excellent as well!

The homemade pita was so good. I really overate on the soft bouncy delicious pita. Hummus and babaganoush also tasty. The salad was a bit too oniony, so if you don't like heavy onion mouth, order it without. Fast and friendly service.

Alot of food for two gals on the town... but last week at Pita was a delicious gem of a find. After having some really horrible service at a Vegan place in centro a random pic on google maps brought us to Pita! Delicious food.... regular bottled drinks and water thou... but it was fairly prices and the left overs the next morning was even better. Cant wait to go back again.

Authentic Mediterranean food and we come from there so we know! This restaurant is a secret little gem! Everything was fresh and tasted like they would do in a Med restaurant, the reason being the chef comes from there.

Love this place! We went twice while in town. The waiters are always so friendly and attentive. The food is fresh, fast, and filling! Great place for a lunch or dinner when you are craving something filling, with simple ingredients but super tasty.

Delicious, fresh and authentic middle eastern cuisine (the falafel was excellent and as good as I've eaten in Israel and Jordan) served in a relaxed setting. The waiters were exceptional: friendly, efficient and very hospitable. Highly recommended.

Absolutely WONDERFUL! Amazing handmade pita bread, velvety hummus, and perfect felafel. Try the authentic tabbouleh salad with fresh mint... It's to die for! A welcome change to tacos. Impeccable, friendly service. Five stars across the board. We'll be back!

We are so happy pita exists in Merida, we moved in to thus city and as expats we love to have good international restaurant. Quality of ingredients is good, it seems like they are fresh. We always take pita shawarma, super tasty.

This was such an unexpected surprise. We were at a local brewery nearby and decided to take a break from Mexican food for the night and ventured here just because of its proximity. I ended up having one of the tastiest Mediterranean meals. The pita was warm and freshly baked. I had the schwarma pita and the lamb was tender and flavourful. The hummus was a great texture. This pita meal was complimented with a salad. So fresh! The dressing was nice too. My husband had the kebab pita. It was so juicy and tasty! A great parsley flavor. Though he said he preferred mine. This might just be because we came with very low expectations, but it was good enough that we will definitely be returning. And I plan on getting just a platter of the hummus!

Shawarma Pita came with a side salad. The pita was filled with meat, cucumber, tomato, hummus, and oh the spices and flavors will make you want to come back and order the same thing again. So good! The side salad will surprise you...it's very tasty with a dressing that's almost like a lite honey mustard. Been here twice already so I definitely say it's a place worth trying out.

A very enjoyable dinner. We especially enjoyed the falafel which was made to perfection. The pita was nice and fluffy. Overall great service. Good for vegetarians.

Been here a few times now and what more to say? Great pitas. Great service. Great location. Often get the chicken shwarma and is delicious every time.

I had the hummus the first time I came, and it was excellent. I'm here now trying the sabich pita. It's terrific too, served with a side salad. I loved the coriander and garlic dip, and the pita bread is soft and fluffy rather than flatbread (which I don't like). I'll definitely return to try other menu items.

So disappointed 😞. I enjoyed a great lunch of carpaccio salmon and good service. English speaking until it came to the bill. It started raining and I quickly moved inside to the bar counter where I was presented with my bill. I paid with a 500 note. The change came back 100 short. So I asked the person "what is this?" He just gave me a smirk😏. I demanded my full change back and much to my dissapointment he did not even attempt an apology... only another smirk! This attitude will stop me from ever revisiting. My own food is better anyway. I am a good tipper but never ever withhold my change. I decide how much I give as propina! Really sad because it is a nice place... and this attitude is unacceptable! If an honest mistake was made, then just say sorry. No problem, but another smirk... NO!
