We
came
to
6
to
introduce
French
cuisine
to
our
Mexican
friends.
Firstly
the
prices
are
French
prices,
quite
expensive
for
Mexico
but
it
is
not
theft.
The
plates
are
very
plentiful
and
the
food
is
of
quality
(I
tried
in
particular
a
steak
tartare
that
I
would
not
have
dared
to
take
elsewhere
in
Mexico).
Too
bad
there
is
no
menu
in
French
but
there
are
many
choices
which
is
appreciable.
More
or
less
French
dishes:
pasta,
tiramisu
(rather
Italian),
but
also
duck
or
sauerkraut.
Very
nice.
We
had
a
plate
to
share
cold
cuts
and
cheese,
there
was
a
Mexican
cheese,
a
touch
of
the
country.
There
are
some
points
that
I
did
not
find
at
the
height
of
a
French
restaurant.
Firstly
the
tapenade
served
as
a
starter
was
not
excellent,
good
limit
...
Then,
I
found
strange
to
propose
creams
with
chocolate
or
raspberry,
I
took
the
raspberry
but
I
found
that
it
looked
more
like
a
clafouti.
Similarly,
a
friend
took
a
dish
with
fish,
she
had
a
bunch
of
capers
served
with
...
We
have
never
eaten
that
so
...
My
last
remark
is
the
thing
that
shocked
me
the
most:
we
had
not
finished
the
plate
of
charcuterie
that
was
at
the
center
of
the
table
and
the
waitress
took
our
plates
and
ripped
off
our
fork!
The
timing
was
up?
Maybe
that's
the
way
it
is
in
Mexico
but
in
France
it
would
be
inadmissible
...
And
yet
I
tried
to
resist
and
keep
my
fork!
So
we
had
to
finish
the
center
plate
without
individual
plates,
to
eat
in
the
dish,
very
bof!
In
addition,
as
everywhere
in
Mexico,
as
soon
as
someone
has
finished
(or
barely),
we
take
off
his
plate
even
if
the
other
guests
have
not
finished
...
In
France
everyone
is
rid
at
the
same
time
and
it's
quite
shocking
for
us.
Why
not
show
French
habits?
For
a
classy
restaurant,
these
few
points
of
improvement
would
allow
it
to
be
really
top
in
my
opinion
if
we
follow
the
French
philosophy!
I
still
want
to
say
that
we
have
ate
very
well
overall.
Good
luck
for
the
future
!
And
long
live
the
big
quantities!
(appreciable
compared
to
French
restaurants!)
(Original)
Nous
sommes
venus
à
6
pour
faire
découvrir
la
cuisine
française
à
nos
amis
mexicains.
Tout
d'abord
les
prix
sont
des
prix
français,
assez
cher
pour
le
Mexique
mais
ce
n'est
pas
du
vol.
Les
assiettes
sont
très
copieuses
et
la
nourriture
est
de
qualité
(j'ai
notamment
tenté
un
steak
tartare
que
je
n'aurais
pas
osé
prendre
ailleurs
au
Mexique).
Dommage
qu'il
n'y
ait
pas
de
menu
en
français
mais
il
y
a
beaucoup
de
choix
ce
qui
est
appréciable.
Des
plats
plus
ou
moins
français
:
pâtes,
tiramisu
(plutôt
italiens),
mais
aussi
du
canard
ou
de
la
choucroute.
Très
sympa.
Nous
avons
pris
une
assiette
à
partager
de
charcuterie
et
de
fromage,
il
y
avait
un
fromage
mexicain,
petite
touche
du
pays.
Il
y
a
quelques
points
que
je
n'ai
pas
trouvé
à
la
hauteur
d'un
restaurant
français.
Tout
d'abord
la
tapenade
servie
en
entrée
n'était
pas
excellente,
limite
bonne...
Ensuite,
j'ai
trouvé
étrange
de
proposer
des
crèmes
brûlées
au
chocolat
ou
à
la
framboise,
j'ai
pris
à
la
framboise
mais
j'ai
trouvé
que
cela
ressemblait
plutôt
à
un
clafouti.
De
même,
une
amie
a
pris
un
plat
avec
du
poisson,
elle
avait
un
tas
de
câpres
servis
avec...
Nous
n'avons
jamais
mangé
cela
ainsi...
Ma
dernière
remarque
est
la
chose
qui
m'a
le
plus
choqué
:
nous
n'avions
pas
encore
fini
l'assiette
de
charcuterie
qui
était
au
centre
de
la
table
et
la
serveuse
nous
a
pris
nos
assiettes
et
nous
a
arraché
notre
fourchette
des
mains
!
Le
timing
était
écoulé
?
Peut
être
que
c'est
ainsi
au
Mexique
mais
en
France
ce
serait
inadmissible...
Et
pourtant
j'ai
tenté
de
résister
et
de
garder
ma
fourchette
!
Nous
avons
donc
ensuite
du
finir
l'assiette
centrale
sans
assiettes
individuelles,
à
manger
dans
le
plat,
très
bof
!
De
plus,
comme
partout
au
Mexique,
dès
que
quelqu'un
a
fini
(ou
à
peine),
on
lui
enlève
son
assiette
même
si
les
autres
invités
n'ont
pas
fini...
En
France
tout
le
monde
est
débarrassé
en
même
temps
et
c'est
assez
choquant
pour
nous.
Pourquoi
ne
pas
montrer
les
habitudes
françaises
?
Pour
un
restaurant
aussi
classe,
ces
quelques
points
d'amélioration
lui
permettrait
d'être
vraiment
au
top
à
mon
sens
si
on
suit
la
philosophie
française
!
Je
tiens
quand
même
à
dire
que
nous
avons
globalement
très
bien
mangé.
Bon
courage
pour
la
suite
!
Et
vive
les
grosses
quantités
!
(appréciable
par
rapport
aux
restaurants
français
!)
