There food was good. The watermelon juice was excellent as the Mandarin . The cochinita pibil sandwich was very good and the cheese empanada was good and the beans with cheese empanada was good . The coffee was fine . I think is nescafe. The place has a good ambient and entertainment. The entertainment was fine. There weren't alot of options but it was great. I would recommend it.

Really enjoyed eating here. Local experience. Loved the lechon al horno here. Came here for breakfast three times. Especially enjoyed their polcan with lechon but the last time they didn't have it. Reasonable prices.

Delicious cochinita pibil sandwich. Had enough tortillas so went with the bread and I'm glad I did. Fresh baked. Horchata for a drink.

Lechon tacos are so delicious, it's really the best lechon I've tried. It's in mercado Santiago, which is cleaner than other markets. Very affordable prices.

We wanted to try this place in the Santiago Market but twice it has been super busy. Well one time it was a Saturday so thats to be expected. Anyway we went on a Tuesday at 1130am and there were plenty of tables and no waiting. We ordered conchita pibil and carne asada tacos and huevos montelenos and everything was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Service was quick and very friendly. Theres definately a reason why this spot is so popular and we experienced it first hand.

Can't beat this local eatery at Mercado No 2. We are here two days in a row for breakfast and also picked up fruit for our daily adventures. A must not miss spot to eat if youre looking for an authentic local experience. @Clifftoymediainc

Well worth the hype and Netflix/YouTube appearances! Best cochinita pibil I've tried, lechón and carne empanizada both delish. Panucho and salbute bases were so fresh! The polcan kept me full for hours! Prices very reasonable and quick service.

Went to experience a Netflix restaurant. Generally, food was good but less than expected. Perhaps a proper Cochinita Pibil will taste better than here. Expensive for the market price.

Fantastic tacos! If you enjoy a true local experience, this is probably the best place to enjoy your food. Super cheap, delicious and fast service.

We had the tortas, and they were awesome. The pork is buried and cooked for hours underground and seasoned well. Made with real love. The staff were very attentive and gave great service with a smile. They are located inside a little old-school Mexican food court that shows its age. BTW you need 5 pesos to use the washroom so and get toilet paper. Lol

Got four to go tacos de lechon (a sort of fried pork skin, rind). They are delicious 😋. Price 68 Mexican pesos. I ate them at my home away from home in Merida, by the pool, accompanied by a dark ice cold beer!

The place is ok and good value for money. The dishes are a bit too fatty to be fully enjoyed. The service is slow, and not quite friendly. I would neither recommend it nor discourage anyone from eating there.

Tables are in the middle of the market under nice skylights. Service was slow but understandable because of the crowd. Food was too salty yet lacking flavour (apart from salt).

I don't really leave bad reviews but i feel like i have to this time. Firstly they took a long time to come to our table to take orders, even thoug there were many staffs and some staffs were just standing doing nothing. Then after served half of our food, they told us they didn't have one of the tacos, then we ordered something else, then 5mins later they told us they didn't have food left because they were closing. So why didn't thye tell us the first palce that they were closing? Pretty pretty bad service

Such great food! Authentic, quick, flavourful, good portions - anything with lechon al horno is definitely something to write home about. Service is quick and efficient. Atmosphere - you’re eating in a market so nothing to rave about but an interesting experience.

I tried the Huevos motuleños and really enjoyed it. It was delicious. But go to Lupita an a weekday to avoid the crowds.

Best tacos de lechon y cochinita I've ever had, hands down!

Probably delicious…. But be aware hours posted here aren’t accurate. I imagine they sell out… we showed up at 12:30pm and they were shuttered already. Show up early to get a chance….

Delicious authentic and fresh Mexican Streetfood. Must eat in Merida. Recommendations are the empanada frijol, queso y chaya or the panucho/taco with lechon al horno

I loved it. Very authentic, but tastes great. Best tacos I tried so far, fresh orange juice is just perfect

Delicious! One of very few places that serve my favorite dish of Yucatanec cuisine - polcanes. They have dishes of the day and a wide variety of meat options for you tacos and salbutes. I wish they were open later in the day

The cochinita pibil and La Lechon salutes stole the show for us. Didn't know pork could taste so good. Overall, a fantastic local experience with traditional dishes.

We only come for the tripe, the taste is excellent, the only thing I would ask is not to give the customer so much work and cut the pieces of meat smaller
