Very tasty! A friend recommended this unique restaurant. The 5' thick Saber tree growing up the centre of the courtyard is magical. The sushi is fresh and soft...we asked the waiter to choose 2 rolls and they were tasty!

This place was just okay. We were off to a rough start upon arrival. I had made a reservation (for Valentine’s Day) 3 weeks in advance and they put us in the most unappealing corner so close to the bar like it was an after thought. When I requested another table they had told me all the tables had been reserved but people had requested specific locations…regardless don’t put people under the bar in a corner. They moved us downstairs in the very chilly room so overall the restaurant is beautiful but we didn’t really get to enjoy the ambiance we had hoped. The food was tasty but not great. The miso ramen was bland (egg way over cooked) and the teriyaki chicken lacked sauce and flavor. It was strange to get such dry teriyaki. The gozya were likely my favorite as were the edemame. But the portions were all very small. For two apps and two mains we left satisfied but expected to have leftovers. The lychee martini was delicious albeit unconventional with ice cream instead of just liquor. The service was painfully slow. Even though the restaurant was hardly full since we came at 6-7. We actually had to go find our waiter to pay. Very strange. Anyway, it is a beautiful place (if you know you have to reserve specific tables) but it’s once again another disappointing attempt at Asian food.

When I lived in Merida I used to come here all the time. One of my favourite rolls being the Momoka Roll. Recently while visiting Mérida with my boyfriend we ordered the gyoza which was quite good. We also ordered ramen but it wasn’t great. However I know the restaurant has great food for the most part so I won’t lower the stars. The Ramen however is a very plain broth, they only give you slices of an egg rather than a full half egg, the egg was over cooked so there was no yoke to mix into the broth, and the meat as well was super over cooked and tough to chew. It looked like ramen but it didn’t taste of have the texture of ramen. It was a poor imitation.

A great Japanese place to have some sushi and other dishes. The mood is darker environment but the interior design and service is nice. The portions for the prices are reasonable but not super. Recommended for the experience in the city.

First of all, I love food but this food was just ok. I believe there are a bunch of other food options that are much better. I knew it was going to be questionable when i noticed that soy sauce on the table was watered down it was the color of brown tea or very light coffee! This is only my thoughts but I hope others will try the restaurant at least once or more. Maybe it was having a bad day!

It's difficult to find good sushi in Merida but this place is so much better than good. Still use cream cheese but the flavour combinations are so incredible that I can forgive it here. We ordered too much but refused to leave a single morsel of food behind. Also the restaurant is beautiful.

I always like to order delivery from this restaurant but I’ve never been to the establishment. It has a lovely scenery and the ambiance is great as well as the music which has an adequate sound level. The waiter was a bit slow but the restaurant was full so it is to be expected. We ordered agedashi tofu and a tuna toast as entrees. Main courses were kaori roll, tori don rice, salmon teriyaki, and moriawase. For desert we had azuki ice. Everything tasted really good. As someone who strongly enjoys sushi, I would say this is a very safe, delicious option to dine in, take out or get delivery. The prices are pretty basic for a sushi restaurant.

I tried their udon miso soup, niji roll and chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and for a very fair price, not to mention their wine selection

Pretty mediocre sushi and very poor service. I have been to most of the recommended places in Merida and service is super friendly but this a place you should skip. Overpriced, Merida has been a culinary joy but if you like sushi, you will be disappointed.

Good place to go out for dinner, the place is really nice and atmosphere is great. Service was not amazing for us, but we also had a very large group that makes it more complicated. The food was good but not outstanding, except for their prepared salmon sashimi, which I really enjoyed. It is definitely not cheap, but I still think the pricing is decent for higher-end dining given how nice the restaurant is.

Upscale dining that exceeded our expectations. Sit on the main level around the giant tree. We had excellent service and the sushi was fresh and presented well. The ramen was also enjoyable. Creative and varied menu was appreciated by our family!

Great place to have a drink and chill a little. I love tuna sushi, unfortunately, tuna wasn't of great quality here. I don't recommend anything with tuna, everything else should be just fine.

Best sushi we have here in Yucatan. Strongly recommend toro & uni, anguila & foie gras, ikuru roll. Must visit.

The food is amazing and they not only have normal sushi but also some more special creations. Prices are ok, but on the higher side.

We invited some friends for Japanese food. This an interesting place, the tree with dinning around it. A water feature around the tree. Upstairs is Air-conditioned, not wheelchair accessible. Nice atmosphere, there is white noise which sounds like rain on the roof. Good Portion Size, Good Service, the kitchen is a bit slow. I was 3/4 through my drink before food started to arrive. Good Flavor. Pricing is Upscale.
