Wonderful park with ample seating, outdoor dining, coffee shop. I found the traffic noise level to be exceptionally loud at times.

Great little park! There's a glorious ice cream place, a couple of hotels(they look nice), a theater and a restaurant where sit outside, food is served with taste and care, great prices too!

We stumbled across this plaza after visiting the Gran Plaza and we were instantly impressed! This plaza is so clean and the statue that sits in the middle is beautiful! There are also many palm trees and plenty of shade unlike the Gran Plaza! There is also handicap ramps, which is great for those that need them! Along with the statue there is a Starbucks coffee and plenty of benches to sit on! I really love the white double chairs that can be found not only here, but all around the city!

A charming little park located between the Rectory of Jesus Church and the main plaza. There are a few restaurants, a coffee shop, a couple of old hotels, a theater, and an ancient church constructed from stones taken from a dismantled Mayan pyramid that stood on this site.

Interesting park. Even though it is colloquially known as Parque Hidalgo, that apparently isn’t its official name. The Hidalgo soldiers used to train here in the past, and this is where the name comes from. The parque is simple and not that big, but it is surrounded by a few very historically significant buildings - the Jesuit built church, the first gender-mixed club in Mexico, and the region’s first hotel.

A nice little park right around shops and restaurants. There are other historical landmarks close by, like the church across the street. It is a bustling area with a great atmosphere. It's a nice place to have a seat and take in the charm of Merida.

This is a very small park with a statue. It’s nice to sit there, but there are many other nice places in Medida.
